Fantastic hotel food and location

Didn't like the way one of the waiter's tried to bully us into giving a tip every time we bought a drink or meal one time saying well thanks for nothing after that he never spoke and tried not to serve us so we went out to other places reluctantly as really liked Casa Wagner not the sort of attitude i expected from a waiter in a hotel of that quality

The location was perfect and right in the city center, we were able to explore all the amazing places and restaurants since most of them are nearby. The room was clean and tidy especially the bathroom and all toiletries were available. The morning breakfast was really good. The food served at the hotel's restaurant was also so delicious and diverse.

Once in the morning, there was no hot water in the sink at all, and the next day, the hot water was not flowing out of the faucet as quickly. The other thing that is worth mentioning, when we arrive for breakfast less than 20 - 30 minutes before the mealtime ends, some of the hotel's lounge stuff might greet us with a frown. Also, there wasn't much variety in the breakfast options.

The Hotel is very central being in the main square, also it has a restaurant attached. The room we had was very pleasant, with everything we needed, comfortable bed and room to relax in after a day out. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed 2 meals at the restaurant during our stay in Brasov. The Hotel is an old building and full of character.

Visitors need to be aware that there is a flight of steps up to the hotel, and there is no lift. However the staff were very quick to help us with luggage to our room and we had no problems with that.

- either poor quality or old beds/mattresses - sewage smell by the toilet - long wait for the hot water in the shower and slow pressure - reception staff was there like someone forced them 😀 when we arrived one of the girls was busy typing something so we had to wait a bit for her to finish then no hello no sorry for the wait just passports pls …. Also no information provided about the stay , areas whatsoever

The room we were assigned was noisy, the only window it had faced the outdoor stairs that led to the restaurant, also used for breakfast by the guests. This meant basically not being able to open the window. We asked if we could change room for a quieter one and the staff was very nice and moved us to a nicer and quiet room, which we enjoyed. If we had been stuck in the first rom our stay would have been unpleasant, but luckily we have been moved and therefore we enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent right in the middle of the main square, everything in the town is easily accessible from here. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice. We didn't eat in the hotel but the prices were reasonable compared to the rest of Brasov The rooms are large, a little dated and there is no lift, however the hotel is converted from an old residence so has all the original charm and character. Would stay here again

The bar area was not really functional, there was never anyone there so we did not have a drink in the hotel

The location is brilliant for central Brasov, with all food places within a very short walk.

Staff could be a little warmer/kinder. The breakfast options were very limited - the ladies in the kitchen there refused to give us standard english breakfast tea! And the bread was dry AND they did not provide a toaster! For this location/price point you expect the basics. Parking is also a struggle in the area to find as there is high competition for slots.

Stayed 4 nights for New Year and it was fantastic. Great that it is linked to the restaurant and can get vouchers for 10% off from reception. Restaurant served great food and lovely 5 course set menu for New Year. Views over the square (if select a room with a view) were amazing. Reception staff and manager very helpful and accommodating when we needed to amend number of rooms. 24 hour reception was helpful when leaving at 5am. Nice character in the rooms and good facilities / TV channels etc. Very responsive to messages posted via booking.com and very informative and helpful. Lovely touch gave us surprise bottle of fizz and some Ferrero Roche on New Year's Eve! Thank you

Could really do with adding a few more hangers in the wardrobe.. only had 1. Room number 9 curtain is tiny and doesn't fit the window - might be worth replacing. But otherwise everything amazing

The location was great, situated on Sfatului Square, the best one. We found many restaurants in the area. The hotel has also a nice one and a terrace. We arrived earlier than expected, however, both rooms were ready, which was much appreciated. Regarding the interior, I have to say both were spacious and very clean. We had our private terrace, provided with a table and two chairs. On top of that, we enjoyed a kettle with complimentary tea, coffee and honey, even adding more the second day. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, with a big smile. We will be back!

Very good place to stay. It is in the heart of the city, close to everything else. The acoustic isolation is very good to a place in the middle of everything and we had a good experience sleeping as well.

There is no elevator or parking close by. So make sure to plan before arriving in that case. Also, there are many stairs to reach the rooms, so it is a challenge to access with big luggage. I would expect a bit more from the breakfast as well. There were almost no fruits or other options. I would prefer to take breakfast outside.
