Fantastic hotel food and location

Didn't like the way one of the waiter's tried to bully us into giving a tip every time we bought a drink or meal one time saying well thanks for nothing after that he never spoke and tried not to serve us so we went out to other places reluctantly as really liked Casa Wagner not the sort of attitude i expected from a waiter in a hotel of that quality

Beautiful old hotel right in the centre of Brasov. The room was large and comfortable with a modern and well-equipped bathroom. Effective and modern air conditioning, too. Despite being on the main square and having restaurants and bars on two sides of the building, the rooms had excellent soundproofing and were nice and quiet. Well placed for exploring Brasov or making day trips to the mountains and surrounding villages.

Public parking isn't the easiest to find and free spots can end up being quite far from the hotel, which is on a pedestrianised square, although we did manage to find a spot on all three days. There is a long, steep staircase at the entrance with no lift.

Can't fault the location, right in on the main square and nearby some great restaurants. Simple check-in and comfortable stay throughout. Excellent base for exploring. I liked my new attic room although those who have trouble with stairs should contact the hotel in advance because you do need to walk a few stairs for your room. Mine was a newly renovated attic room and had everything I needed for my stay including a really nice bathroom.

Although it was minimal perhaps having something to prevent water from the shower reaching the bathroom floor would be an advantage but this really wasn't a big deal. Just a few splashes.

– The location is unbeatable—right in the center of the historic district, so everything is just steps away as soon as you leave the hotel. – The hotel itself is charming, comfortable, and beautifully in line with the overall aesthetic of Brasov. – After check-out, they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at no extra cost, which was very convenient.

– Some rooms, including the one we stayed in, are located near the restaurant. During our stay, there was quite a bit of noise coming from that area, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

We love the place, it is conveniently located in the old city center, lots of restaurants and shops around. Easy to get ubers from, has a water fountain in front. The staff is very nice too. The rooms are pretty with very cute details (like the lamp having painted leaves or pretty curtains, modern bathrooms. It is a pretty hotel, lots of wood decor. This is the second year we have visited Brasov and have stayed here. Will definitely come back if we revisit.

The property is situated in the main square. The room was a good size with airconditioning and comfortable beds.

The shower was good however was slightly blocked due to hair and water tended to be slow to drain. The room above had a squeaky floor so there was some noise from above. No safe in the room. Breakfast was not great, the only bread was baguette no rolls or bread for toast, and limited other choice. One morning we went down at 0930 and things were not being topped up.

The location was perfect and right in the city center, we were able to explore all the amazing places and restaurants since most of them are nearby. The room was clean and tidy especially the bathroom and all toiletries were available. The morning breakfast was really good. The food served at the hotel's restaurant was also so delicious and diverse.

Once in the morning, there was no hot water in the sink at all, and the next day, the hot water was not flowing out of the faucet as quickly. The other thing that is worth mentioning, when we arrive for breakfast less than 20 - 30 minutes before the mealtime ends, some of the hotel's lounge stuff might greet us with a frown. Also, there wasn't much variety in the breakfast options.

The location of the hotel overlooking the square could not be better. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was very welcome.

Parking in Brasov was very stressful. We had to drive a considerable distance to find a parking space. There is also no very close place to drop off or collect luggage at the hotel.. There is a fairly steep staircase on entering the hotel with no lift or luggage porter to assist.

The Hotel is very central being in the main square, also it has a restaurant attached. The room we had was very pleasant, with everything we needed, comfortable bed and room to relax in after a day out. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed 2 meals at the restaurant during our stay in Brasov. The Hotel is an old building and full of character.

Visitors need to be aware that there is a flight of steps up to the hotel, and there is no lift. However the staff were very quick to help us with luggage to our room and we had no problems with that.

Incredible location surrounded by scenery, bars, restaurants and good vibes. The council square is on your doorstep, there was an event on when we visited so sat in the sunshine listening to local music. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air con was a blessing!

The stairs were immediately outside of our door but it wasn’t a major issue. The corridors are well lit so you can see where you are going
