Location. It’s in the middle of Mamaia Strip. You can step out of the hotel and onto the beach. The hotel has it’s own rented beach with umbrellas and chaise-longs . It’s 30min walk to the Gondola. Located in a less noisy area. Big rooms. The hotel has a unique architecture. It has a new ownership and in the last year it’s been renovated. All rooms have a sea view and are spacious and well equipped with a mini bar with reasonable prices, bath robes and slippers, a safe. It’s cleaned everyday and toiletries are supplied as well as beach towels. Food. The food is excellent. Well varied buffet breakfast. For lunch and dinner you have a choice of broths (ciorbe) , grilled meat, pasta and sea food. Their drinks meanu is good as well. Different types of pasteurised, unpasteurised and unfiltered beers. You can order the menu on the beach as well. Staff. The staff are extremely helpful. They offered us an early check in ( 9hrs earlier- the room was available) and a late check out. The hotel employs international staff - from Republic of Moldavia and Nepal and offers an opportunity for summer jobs to students

This is not a dislike more for information. The hotel owners are looking into building a pool with the neighbouring hotel. For families with small children , there are no other entertainment options like slides or play areas. The hotel is, at the moment, more adult orientated.

The breakfast is very good, having a variety of fresh fruits, and also classic continental. The coffee is good for a hotel breakfast. The fresh squized juices are also delicious. The room (we had an apartment) is large and with a sea view. The hotel's chaiselongues are free to use. The impression is that of a family hotel. The restaurant is nice, all we ate was ok, a little bit pricy though.

The shampoo in the shower not refilled. There were no sockets on the walls near the bed. The hotel needs urgent outside repainting or renovation, as well on some hallways. The rooms carpet would also need a refreshment. The sofa and armchairs in the room not confortable.

Hotel and rooms look exactly as in the booking pictures. The look is dated but everything is in good working order. Check in was 4pm but they gave us a room when we arrived just before 1pm which was awesome and likely due to it being early in the season. We were also upgraded to a suite which gave us an extra large living room. We had plenty of space. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view. The included breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and everything was very fresh. Great coffee machine and you can even make your own mimosa's. Beach chairs and parasols were all in excellent condition.

Carpet in the rooms. This is strange to me considering this a beach resort. When we entered the room there was a very strong "air freshener" smell. We opened the window and balcony door for many hours to air out this smell. Beach towels could have been bigger. Bring your own. We were surprised that the sand on the beach consists mainly of shells. A bit hard on the feet so bring water shoes if you plan on walking a long way. Beware of the elevator- it is extremely hot and stuffy and the doors shut even if someone is getting in. I had a scare where the door started closing on me as I was getting in and ended up with a significant bruise.

Absolutely superb stay at Hotel Hawaii in Mamaia! The staff were spectacular—friendly, highly professional, and eager to help at every step. The rooms were pristine, spacious and elegantly furnished, with balconies overlooking the stunning Black Sea. We slept soundly in the comfortable beds and appreciated the thoughtful in‑room amenities. The food at the on‑site restaurant was simply phenomenal, with a generous buffet breakfast and a fusion menu served in a lovely terrace setting. And if location matters, this hotel can’t be beat—direct beach access, complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas right outside, and panoramic sea views. Truly a 4‑star gem!

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel in Hawaii. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking — overlooking a vast beach and the endless ocean. It was the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The staff was exceptional — friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Any questions or concerns were handled swiftly and with great care. A special thank you goes to the amazing front desk manager (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch). Her warmth and professionalism truly made our stay unforgettable. If she happens to read this, I want her to know how much we appreciated her! Overall, it was a memorable and seamless stay that exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Hotel is very good value for money, it has an excellent location (middle of Mamaia, right on the beach), ALL rooms have a wonderful view directly at the sea. Food is excellent and plentiful. Staff is very young and helpful. Highly recommended. Will come back.

I had a truly memorable stay at Hotel Hawaii in Constanța, and a big part of that experience was thanks to the incredible service provided by two exceptional staff members — Elena and Andreea. Elena, the hotel manager, goes above and beyond in every way. She clearly lives and breathes hospitality — not only handling operational matters with impressive professionalism, but also offering genuine, heartfelt support to guests. Her kindness, attentiveness, and initiative turned our stay into something special. She even improved our accommodation conditions without us asking, simply because she cared. Even during days of less-than-ideal weather, Elena and Andreea helped us find wonderful things to do in the area — from hidden local attractions to amazing places to eat. Their warmth and thoughtful suggestions filled our time with joy and adventure. The positive atmosphere throughout the hotel is a reflection of the people who work there. I felt genuinely welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for — it truly felt like home. I can't wait to return, and next time I plan to bring a colleague to share the experience. Thank you once again for making my stay unforgettable!

Comfortable , spacious, good location. The food excellent. Friendly staff and polite. Always had long chairs an umbrella available. We will come back for sure.
