The rooms and main hallways they were refurbished recently and the quality of the beds, sheets and towels was really good. Very friendly staff at any time available to help on any raised request. Spa centre is well designed and prices are really in line and I can say affordable, this hotel is covering really well all guest needs and it looks like they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is pleasant.

First night we have stayed on the 1st floor on top of the kitchen area and during the night some constant noise vibration created by a hod extractor or a chill room compressor, the noise was traveling up in the riser. Next day the hotel team did relocated us in another room and our stay was very pleasant. I hope my review will be taken only in a constructive way, this will need to be addressed to the M&E designer, I'm pretty sure the management did understood the issue and this will be fixed in the off peak season, very likely the ducts will need to be well fixed in the riser system, riser to be insulated and an acoustic ceiling in the kitchen area will do the noise cancellation.

Our start at Iaki Hotel was absolutly wonderful and made for an amazing family holiday! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. Their helpfulness and warm hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. The service throughout our stay was fabulous, making us feel pampered and well-cared-for. The food was another highlight—both breakfast and dinner were delicious, with a wide variety of options that pleased every palate. Our room was immaculate, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The pool area was equally inviting, offering a serene and relaxing environment where we could unwind and soak up the sun. The staff were amazing. We are already looking forward to returning to Iaki Hotel for another unforgettable family holiday. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay! The swimming pools (adults and kids) that were heated in the afternoon when it got chilly were amazing. Best way to spend a weekend especially now that the beach is damaged (too long to reach the water, the entry into the water is abrupt, the sand is not fine at all) Nice restaurant and good food to have dinner on the premise Perfect location in the center of Mamaia, close to other facilities for toddlers

The rooms haven’t been renovated in a while and this is visible - stains on the bed tapestry, on the carpets.

Clean, quiet. The three young guys at the beach bar (Andrei, Catalin, Valentin) were just awesome.

The pool hours (way too short), bar closes at 22:00, and of course parking. While I understand, and somewhat agree with the soccer field out front (given the owner’s background), it would definitely be more appreciated as a nice parking lot with a canopy and even solar panels on top. In my opinion a win, win situation.

The food was exceptionally good, and the staff at the reception were eager to help sort out issues that we faced with the initial room we checked into. The sun loungers and beanbags at the beach are great, and there is a really nice and clean promenade facing the hotel.

The first room we stayed at had a defective A/C, and there was an annoying constant noise that interfered with our sleep. Despite receiving a different room after complaining, we feel that the fact they were aware of the issue yet still gave us that room was unpleasant, to say the least. The internet quality is not great; I had issues with Zoom calls as a remote worker and had to rely on 4G mobile data instead. One of the waiters was really snobbish and rude to people sitting next to our table. Lastly, the beach used to have very fine sand quality, but they enlarged it and covered it with sharp crushed shells, which felt unpleasant to walk on barefoot (we heard others complain about this too).

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Mamaia – the rooms were clean, the location great, and the staff very welcoming. A special thanks to Alexandru, the massage therapist, for his professionalism and excellent treatments that made my holiday even more relaxing.

The only downside was the WiFi connection, which was poor and kept breaking often.

The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of traditional romanian dishes ( a must to try) , and lots of other selections, the staff was amazing, the restaurant clean and nice. Spa no time in 4 days to visit , Rooms - sea view is a must , size was good, well equipped.

Since the season was not in full swing , the rooms were a bit dusty. But once I mentioned to the reception, in the next second the staff took action and corrected. WOW, Great attitude! Bar was nice and modern with a good selection of drinks.

I have been to different hotels in different countries before like in Cuba, in Teneriffe, in Barcelona,... but Iaki Hotel is absolutely one of the best I have been. Especially the food from the restaurant deserves more than 10 points. Moreover I was surprised how clean our suit- Especially the bathroom!!! was (actually in Romania the bathrooms aren't clean at all). And in the suit you don't hear anything from the outside. In summary: the perfect hotel to stay!

The beach is great but one little thing disturbed us. Its a pity that instead of sand the beach consists of many little mussels.

An oasis of good taste, elegance and confort. Clean everywhere, silence, friendly staff, AC all over the place, good WI FI, confy bed and room, spotless bathroom, amazing food, attention for details. Cleaning ladies make no noise while cleaning, i haven’t heard once the vacuum cleaner, always with a smile on their faces and eager to help you. The food is plenty, fresh and super tasty. Everything for everybody. Great coffee. Lots of teenagers who work in the restaurant and at the beach. Spa is wow, we had a few rituals, Oriental for ladies and standard massage for my husband. Heavenly. Highly reccomend. We had a lovely 8 days stay. Thank you people from Iaki.
