Excellent rooms and facilities in a leafy, upper class part of the city in walking distance to the city centre. Rooms are spacious, clean, have big windows and are well designed. The rooms have big windows and a real desk set up with sockets to plugin a laptop and work, something most hotel don’t seem to care about work aspects. And if that’s not enough, the location is just awesome and invites to morning walks or runs. Trying to find something I didn’t like, hmm… nothing comes to mind, ticks all boxes for me.

Breakfast was really good. For coffee lovers, they will make you nice espresso or cappuccino. Restaurant is also a good choice for dinner. There is a small shop for some essentials, snacks and drinks one may need. Kigali is such a nice city and the view from the top (even though it's a 4-story building) is beautiful. Btw, the restaurant offers a cake (reasonable price) so in case you want to treat people you work with - this is a nice option.

I didn't find anything I didn't like. On the other hand, I wasn't looking for that! and this is not as I see just positive things, it's just that all was great! Internet connection could have been better but being at other places in the city I dare to say that it was far better than at other places.

In this price category, this was perfect for me: a huge room with a balcony, super cosy bed, very friendly and helpful service, and a quiet location. I was booked to another (more expensive) hotel at the end of my holiday but cancelled it and chose to come back to Urban.

I didn't dislike anything. Even the party music from the opposite hotel was nice, not too loud, and always finished before midnight. Some might say the decor is getting a bit dated, but I wasn't looking for 5 star.

Huge rooms, everything is spotless clean

I stayed there for 2 weeks, but got one of the few rooms that has not been renovated yet. I asked for a different room but didnt get it. It was very clean, but old with spots on the mirror, Couch and carpet. I don’t understand why They give the renovated Rooms to guests, that stay for one night but not to them, that stay for 2 weeks.

Urban by CityBlue Kigali is a lovely hotel. Our room was large and very comfortable and the dining area with its excellent view is beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My wife and I were there for three nights and would certainly stay there again.

The location is not within an easy walk of many attractions. The neighborhood is very nice, but you need a car or other transportation to get to other places of interest.

This hotel offers high standard at a good price. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The centre (Kiyovu) is within walking distance (you have to walk up the hill though). While there are many nice restaurants in the area, you actually have one of the best restaurants in Kigali on top of the hotel. They have a large variety of food at very good prices and you don't have to wait long for your food either. I appreciated finding a Gideon testament in my room.

Difficult to find anything to write here. A garden would have been nice, but I think all the rooms are coming with a balcony at least.

Everything. We were very impressed with this hotel. Rooms were big with good shower room and balcony. The rooftop restaurant was amazing and we had a good dinner and great breakfast here. Staff were friendly. We would stay here again. Eat meals at the hotel as prices and quality was good.

There was a strange window between bedroom and bathroom - no idea what the purpose was. Didn’t like my crème brûlée dessert - it came hot with no hard sugar top.

I liked the location a lot, and the roof restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. And I had a fantastic view over Kigali from my room.

The only very small complaint is that the hot water system did not really work in my attached bathroom. Even the person who came to show it to me was not able to activate it. I guess it is a technical issue, and it wasn't tto bad to have a cold shower after a warm day.

Had an excellent stay at Urban. Wonderful suite with very comfortable bed room, pretty good breakfast, very popular rooftop restaurant. I loved the green and generally quiet neighborhood, in walking distance from Kigali center.

Occasionally a bit of noise and music from the hotel next door.

Very clean rooms. The Hotel is conveniently located to explore Kiyovu and its surroundings. The Restaurant on the Top Floor is AMAZING so is the view from there. The Staff was very friendly and super helpful! The Airportransfer was on time and very smooth.
