Great location and very comfortable rooms. Also the choice and options of breakfast were so good.

Waiting for a lift for 10 to 20mins and when one comes it is full of staff working in the hotel. Also, the dinner in the restaurant was disappointing as not enough choice for people with dietary requirement. Servers were inexperienced and came across a little rude. There was always this cleaner around the tables with broom and dustpan even when there was nothing to sweep whilst guests were eating their dinner. Was bizarre for 2 nights I ate in the restaurant.

The room was great. Location brilliant. The curtains when moved were dusty. The man making eggs on the morning of eid was rude. He threw the pan back on the stove when I asked for another egg for my Father! He was rude to everyone. He really shouldn’t be at the station, maybe he can do other jobs.

I will give the most honest review of this hotel. First, I will give the salient features. Pros I booked a room for a single person with Kaba view from booking.com in a 1600 SAR. Payment was supposed to be on the site, but when 2 days were remaining, then I got a link to pay, or my booking might be cancelled, so I paid. I reached at night and I was asked to have dinner by the receptionist which I was not expecting, dinner was very good. Then I slept in a room on the 6th floor, and there were tea coffee tv accessories of the bathroom and toilet, a sound system broadcasting from Haram the Namaz and Azan both and controps of volume and mute buttons. My room was kaba's view, so it was. The temperature was good. Lifts were fast and spacious, and too many. The room was clean and acceptable. For computers and laptops, there was a wired internet connection. The next morning, an excellent breakfast was provided with hundreds of items on the top floor.

Cons I could not find the jaa e namaz... the matt. The view of kaba was nothing like photos on the internet. I could hardly see the top of kaba, and the rest was hidden by Gate of Haram Even Haram view was not full view. No wifi was given to me Enterance of the hotel was through the clock tower mall, and it took some time to find it There was a lot of distance inside the mall hotel and outside where you need to walk because no taxi is allowed near it

The hotel has friendly staff, a great location, spacious rooms, new furniture, and is clean.

Elevators are always busy, so it takes a long time to get from the room to the “Haram” or prayer room ( if you don't leave the room early enough, you will miss the prayers. There is a fridge, but with nothing in it, it would be great to have snacks and cold drinks in the room. Very limited restaurant selections in the hotel and many open buffet-style. Some things need more regular maintenance ( for example elevator screens)

Best location to stay if you are staying with family compare to other properties in the other places where you need to walk a lot and with current rush in the Haram shariff it is better to be as close as possible and Fairmont is the best among the rest. Rooms are VERY CLEAN AND TIDY and well maintained. Food was comparatively a bit same almost every day need to add some more Indian touch to the Menu as compared to only GCC Cuisine. There is a prayer room for the hotel customer which makes things easier during prayer and that is the best i guess for the stay as going and coming to haram is not possible every time.

Restaurant is a bit disorganized the tables are not allotted and we have to keep looking for empty table to have seat rather than the staff guiding us to the empty table, restaurant is run by waiters and runner, i did not see any manager or supervisor around checking up on customer for there issues or concern.

It was SPECTACULAR!!! From room, to guest service, cleaning, staff, help, overall vibe of hotel it was a wholesome experience, truly truly exceptional. The staff at concierge, reception to house keeping each penny is worth spending. Mr Muhammad Fawzi Manager House Keeping and Amir Ahmed were super co operative and top of their game and offcourse the clock tower hotel rituals, Dates and Arabic Kehwa , what else can one ask for

i will not like any other hotel after this i believe, it was too good

Best Location, rooms are excellent especially Kaaba view room. During our check in Mr. Ghassan received my family with warm welcome in gold lounge and make our check in smooth and explained us about hotel very well and gold lounge waitress Ms. Hannan always welcome my family and provide her best professional services during our lounge visit.

Value is extremely high and once I asked the receptionist during my checkout to add my All-Accor points to my membership # 30810327714156PG, she straight forwards replies to me that my booking has been done through Booking.com. so, I will not get any membership points, I believe this is not fair and break fasts are not as per 5 Star hotel standard in early 10am we find many dishes are kept cold and restaurant staff numbers are less due to which our request for like Tea, Coffee & etc get much time to delivered to our table.

The place is extremely convenient. The facility if very clean and the staff are very helpful

The breakfast is way below expectation for the status of the hotel. They provided the cheapest quality of protein; talking about chicken liver, that most of people throw away and do not eat. Every day either chicken or lamb liver, beside eggs, is a quality food for a 2 star hotel. The only things that are plentiful are the sweets, which again are the very inexpensive and cheap type of food. You can have a much better breakfast for half the money the hotel charges.

The location was the main reason for us to choose Fairmont Hotel. We travelled with little children so it's important for us to stay in a hotel close to the Haram. We got a room in a very high floor, they asked us first if we want it or not and we didn't have any objection. If you also got a room in a very high floor like us, you don't need to worry because the high floor room has a very pretty city view and there are many elevator (always working during our stay, pay attention to the elevator info so you take the right elevators, but it's not complicated, don't worry). The room was spacious, clean, and very comfy. There was also a huge smart TV connected to the internet in our room so we can monitor the situation in the haram (help us a lot because we bring our kids to do umrah and praying at the haram). To conclude, it was the best room that we can get with the price that we paid. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant staffs were always friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. I think the only note is regarding the pick up process if you use a private taxi. It can be a bit tricky, as you may need to have permit from the hotel (you need to arrange it with the hotel about 30 minutes before the pick up time). However, we would still recommend this hotel and would like to stay again here if we are going to visit Mecca again in the future. Thank you Fairmont Hotel Team, keep up the good work!

The breakfast was amazing. The staff were very helpful. The room was neat. But quite small . There Were 3 beds but they fet for us as we were 4 and a baby. They were ready to fix a 4th bed but it would have made the room more crowded. It was booking mistake as they mentioned a 4 bed room when we booked.

The room was quite small. I couldn't see Al Kabaa anymore from any of the floors , nor the praying mosque at S2 also. The fridge didn't have any shelves but the fixed it at the same day. It was very important for the baby food.
