Absolute paradise, we originally booked 2 nights but stayed for 4. Staff are incredibly kind and courteous. Food was great, we thought food and drink would be expensive but it really was same prices as phuket mainland. I read a lot about people saying about mosquitoes and insects, yes there was some but nothing major. The beach is like powder and the water really warm. Pool was nice and clean with really warm water too. We were thrilled with this place. Only drawback (which is really small) no english speaking channels on tv in the room. But we didnt go to a tropical island for tv did we? It is a little dated, but everything is spotless, rooms are fantastic. We would definitely definitely go here again, Not many people staying in the hotel which is a mystery, so if you like peace and quiet, you will love it

A piecefull a bit old but very sweet place right in front of phuket. The only functional hotel on koh loon. The structure itself would need a bit of maintenance but it’s charming (garden is beautiful) and the location is amazing. Stuff is very nice. A place to rest and relax.

The sea water is not so clean, it’s on the Chalong bay and gets the dirt from the harbour. Especially because of this it would be nice if the swimming pools were cleaner and better maintained. Also it would be nice to have some connection to the rest of the island, a boat that takes you to the beach on the other side of the island for example.

This hotel is not a five star luxury resort but it is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle from Phuket mainland. We had a beachfront deluxe suite which was a dream! We walked straight on to the beach and enjoyed the views from our room, there was access to kayaks, snorkels and beach beds. We were grateful to read the reviews beforehand so we were aware of a cost for the longboat to the resort (600 Baht pp for a return trip), the cost of the food (300 Baht for a meal) and no access to amenities or the beach bar on the other side of the island. There is a 7/11 at Chalong Bay Pier so go prepared with snacks and drinks that you can fill in your fridge and enjoy the fact that you have an island to yourselves!

It was very quiet. Very close to nurture.

There was only one place to eat. The food was expensive and the dishes were too small.

You can rent a kayak for free at the resort which is great (however maybe the resort could invest in new paddles). There are limited options when it comes to buying food but it is pretty affordable (around 200 Baht per meal/cocktail) and the food is overall good.

Not much to do other than just relax at the beach. The resort has seen better days, alot of the facilities seem pretty old. Staff is very nice but sometimes they have trouble getting orders right. The breakfast buffet is not very good but they have a la carte breakfast when there are not many visitors on the resort which is pretty good.

Lovely hotel, away from the hassle of Phuket. Nice rooms and great beach. Please allow the kitchen time, when many guests are in the restaurant, especially for dinner. Everything is cooked freshly and they are not a Hilton-100-people kitchen. So try not complain about waiting times. The room is nice, the bed was super and cleaning service is at request - and yes ! - you share the tropic nature with animals. So be prepared.

At least on boat transfer per room should be free, as there is no alternative to reach the resort.

This was a real chilled out, bare foot resort. We stayed in a beach front bungalow, which was excellent, spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly staff. 15 minutes by long tail boat from Chalong Pier. Food in resort was good and not too over priced. We will definitely be back

There are a few negatives but they would not stop us from returning Resort is tired, past its hay day Service is very slow for meals- we waited over an hour for dinner Pool didn’t look clean, would benefit from better filtration We went thinking that it would be a romantic get away, there were A LOT of children, who were just enjoying themselves The 600thb per person tail boat transfer is overpriced for a 15 minute transfer

Service is slow in the restaurant and they should provide more options for sight seeing in Phuket. Staff is clueless and not helpful in providing those information. People go to Thailand to relax as well as sight seeing. When I ask for information, I am told please check the Internet, which gives us a feeling of being unwelcome. Please correct this attitude other than that everything else was awesome.

The location was excellent and a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Phuket with a 15 minute boat ride from Chalong Pier. Our room was on the beach and was very spacious and very clean- old fashioned Cuban style- which we loved. Food was excellent and good size portions. All staff were very helpful.

The pool was well located and had great potential. The pool was clean but the area around the pool ie the floor tiles could do with jet washing and cleaning more regularly.

Silent and cozy bungalows, 20m away from the beach, no cars or motorcycles around and very few people in the hotel. Sometimes it feels like your private beach. Great and friendly staff.

Transport issue. After dawn hard to find boat from/to Phuket or it is very expensive.
