before check-in the communication was very good. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they offered to help us with the transport and allow us to check in early and stay on the beach after the check out. All check in details was offered professional in a pleasant tone. The location is right on the beach and in one day a friendly monkey walked and we took pictures. :) The 7 Eleven is like 2 kilometers away and you can do the shopping's there and take a Grab taxi on the way back. Also in the evening we ate at another restaurants on the other beach which was on short distance on the right hand side of the location. If you want to book a trip with the boat, the staff arrange it for you. Also the Thai massage can be booked with the help of the staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heavenly escape by the sea!

It is an excellent location away from the crowds, without the hordes and hordes of tourists. As the beachfront was private, there were at maximum, 6-8 perons using the deck chairs, beach beds when we were there. The views from the beach is A+++. The rooms are comfortable and has probably most of what you need for the stay (at least for us), it is very family friendly (the bungalow we booked was the SEA VIEW Bungalows) and there were free kayaks and toys for kids/babies. They provide a lot of beach towels, and you can grab them from their front desk. The staff there are very very helpful, especially Fon and Sunny. Everyone from the staff, the manager and even the owners (Huey Princess & Denis) are so so so friendly. They make it feel like a home away from home! Before you arrive to thailand or the resort, they will start communicating with you through whatsapp. That ensures a great check-in experience and minimizes any trouble or hassle. They helped me plan a wonderful 30th birthday for my fiancee. Please order the takeout food from the menu they have there! Eating food while lounging on the deck chairs, or in front of the rooms besides the pool, is a wonderful wonderful experience! They've gotten the best restaurants from around their area, and the food usually takes 30mins to arrive. If you do go out, the Panwa Cafe is a great choice, as they will pick you up and send you back from the cafe. Just let the front desk/reception know you wanna go there and they will ring up the Panwa Cafe for you. If you have the time to stroll and walk, Thai Sawasdee was another food place that we visited that was beside the sea. It was also great walking along the boardwalk with the sea-view after dinner.

Beware of swimming in the sea, especially at low-tide. There are rocks/corals in the sea floor, these areas are unmarked and not-visible through the water. My fiancee and I were cut and had abrasions on our legs from wondering into the wrong areas. Perhaps, that area should be marked with flags or something like that. Maybe the reception should brief guests during check-in to avoid those areas. We did not know and it did spoil a bit of the holiday!

The location of the hotel is amazing, the private beach really makes you feel like on a remote island far from everything,If you are looking for a quiet place where you can relax you should definitely give a try to this hotel. The hotel is located in a small bay which is protected from wind and waves. The staff working at the hotel was very very kind and helpful, they explained us everything and told us we can use the kayak, paddle board, snorkeling masks for free. All the facilities were very well kept, the pool and the beach were cleaned every morning from the leaves that would fall from the trees above. The rooms were spacious, equipped with all you could ever need and very clean. I can only recommend this place and thank the personnel working there for their welcoming.

The downside is that the hotel doesn’t include breakfast. The option they provide is to order from the restaurant located on the beach next to the hotel, (no discounts offered to clients from the Mooring resort). The restaurant is very good, the atmosphere is really nice, there are a lot of options and the food and service is truly amazing. However the portions were pretty small and prices are overly expensive for Thailand standards. You should definitely take this expense into account if you decide to stay for a long period and exclusively rely on the restaurant on the beach.

The Mooring resort is great place to have your vacation. It is in quiet and beautiful area with a lot of greenery, trees and awesome nature. The bungalows are nice and clean. The beach is near and the pool is great as well. We had our room cleaned every single day. Even though the area is not full with restaurants and clubs, there are multiple options for eating, including ordering food on reception. The personal is great and very helpful! We really enjoyed our time and will be happy to visit again :)

A bit distant from the main city and the ports but having taxi is always an option, so I wouldn’t count this as negative thing.

The Resort is direct next to the beach ,we loved it especially if you are with a toddler.We stayes 15 days in karon before ,this was way better for us .You can leave you toddler run around without any traffic and the restaurant next door was great too they have a really good menu with a lot of choices also for children.We stayed 6 night and spend all our days in the resort .The beach is also perfect for small children no waves .Staff was very helpful and the room is spacious and nice .We loved it!!

A stunning little resort. The location is absolutely beautiful, with views over Ao Yon. All villas are within 20 metres of the beach with a swimming pool central to the resort. The beach is so quiet it almost feels private. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they booked taxis for us, arranged for a boat trip from the beach, and did the most they could to make us feel welcome. The resort doesn’t have a restaurant as part of it but right next door is The Cove which serves a variety of western and Thai dishes as well as alcoholic drinks.

My only slight criticism is the room, it allows a lot of light in the morning, the shower was pretty weak and didn’t drain very well and our door lock didn’t really work properly. The shower and door lock were, however, promptly repaired by the staff.

One of our favorite things was the incredible array of sun beds and hammocks scattered along the beach and shaded under trees. Each one was designed for ultimate relaxation, making it easy to lose track of time while simply soaking in the peace. The staff made sure everything was perfect, keeping the grounds immaculate and attending to every detail with such warmth and care. We loved our room, too! It was filled with thoughtful touches like daily-refilled water bottles (sustainability win!), cozy bathrobes, a handy beach bag, and even little hedgehogs to brush off sand after a day on the beach. Plus, the fresh coffee provided in-room was fantastic—no instant here! This hotel is a true paradise, where everything just aligns to create an unforgettable experience. We left feeling recharged, relaxed, and already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a heavenly escape by the sea!

feel really lucky to have stayed here. Beautiful, quiet and maintained beautifully. Pool was cleaned at 7am on the dot every day. Staff were all so helpful - we had a long stay, and took day trips everywhere. when we’d get stuck (in the rain, lost) they were unbelievably responsive, always helping out with reservations. the cove is steps away, and seems open 8am-late, tolerant of long leisurely scrabble games I’ve happy hour that run into dinner. with my 78 yo mom, we took cabs everywhere, but if you are able, you can walk 1k up the hill and pretty much anything you need is there. close to old Phuket we were 25 minutes away from fantastic restaurants such as the Blue Elephant, Raya, about same amount of time away from dive boats in chalong. easy. great trip.

not really a dislike, but if you are trying to catch a dive boat probably best to get a coffee and a croissant at Bottoms Up at the end of the driveway which opens at 7:15am.

Beautiful rooms, private beach. The staff are exceptional. This is the best customer service I have ever received from a hotel. Day by day they helped me to organize meals and tours and all by texting me on whatsapp. I’m very grateful to the woman who was working reception I hope the owner sees this and gives her a raise she is wonderful. I have already recommend friends to come back here based on my interactions with her alone.

Not a problem with the property. Phuket is very big so please plan what you want to do before you book. This property is not really walkable to anything so if that is a problem for you consider elsewhere like patong

This was a great stay. The resort is spectacular, really on the beach. If you are looking for calm and quiet, in a serene environment, by the water, look no further: this is it! Clean, comfortable, large rooms, simple yet elegant and functional! Very, very friendly staff, ready to help with anything! They serve no food but several options around, including one at 10 m away. They also have arrangements with several local restaurants, which provide free transportation two ways. We tasted almost all, great selection of food. All in a all a little corner of paradise, I wish we could have stayed more than 5 days. A very warm and heartfelt thank you for everything!
