The front desk clerk who checked us in was super friendly and actually upgraded us for free to a suite because housekeeping wasn’t finished with the king rooms when we arrived to check in. The room was clean and the shower was wonderful. Dove products in the bathroom. Breakfast was phenomenal! Fresh fried eggs, potatoes with peppers and onions, waffles, etc etc. We will definitely be back.

The TV only had one free service Tubi and limited options for singing into apps. (Netflix and Direct TV) No option for Disney, Amazon Prime, or HBO Max. Would’ve liked better TV options to relax to but we found something.

It smelled so good when we walked in. It just felt clean! Our room was spotless. The bedding was fresh and clean. We loved the hard flooring. Carpet is gross, the hard floors is why we chose this hotel actually.

The bed was so hard. We both woke up with sore backs, but it is probably just not our preference. The only other thing is that the air conditioning was making weird noises when it came on. Not the regular hum, but a loud noise. Also pillows were not all that impressive. Again these were little issues, we really did enjoy our stay.

The individual that checked us in was Alan, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and intentive, he let us know about the morning breakfast, he also noticed I had a cane, and asked if we preferred a ground floor, if I needed assistance, we were fine with our 2nd floor room. And this room was above our expectations, it was large, roomy, and the walk in shower fit our needs very well. We recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling. Thank you all for a great time.

The only small distraction would be the bed was a little hard, but my back appreciated it.

Location and friendly staff

All amenities were not functioning, had to get help from front desk, for get television to work as well as refrigerator, the room had a stuffy type odor that we had to get air freshener to help eliminate, almost like maybe poor air circulation and air filter needing to be changed. All in all these items were minor and the stay was comfy and very pleasant. The room was clean and very neat.

Everything was fine. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The signage to this location is poor. We generally turn into a side street, go across the neighboring property's parking lot, and cross a bridge into LaQuinta's parking lot. It seems very awkward. I didn't realize the front entry is actually into the hotel until this last trip. It appears to be entering the neighboring business facing the loop. Also, there was a lot of traffic noise in our room.

The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was in working order. We didn't eat breakfast.

We just don't feel as welcome at the University location as we do at the South Tyler location. The desk clerk checked us in efficiently, but he wasn't friendly or welcoming at all. This is our 2nd time to stay, and had the same experience both times, different clerks. l also have to add that $5 for a 2.3 oz. can of Pringles chips is way beyond a convenience mark-up. That's ridiculous. The noise from traffic was also disturbing.

Everything was clean and decorated well. The surroundings were so beautiful. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was good as well (a few more pastries or bacon 🥓 wouldn't hurt) Room is well maintained and had the modern amenities.

They should have had shower caps and the shower curtain didn't have a plastic backing to keep water from the floor.

The breakfast was very good! I was very happy with it! And when I discovered the tub drain plug was working they fixed it immediately!

The snack store was way too expensive! I got 2 waters and one cup of noodles totaling $15 and will not indulge again. Had it been more appropriate I would have utilized it often in my stay!

It was okay. Two days in a row there was no milk to go with the cereal being offered. It may have been due to it being a holiday weekend but it seemed like the kitchen staff could not keep up and meet the needs of the people. There were so many people just standing and waiting for food to be brought out. It would be gone as soon as they put it down for most options.

The food issue was really the only complaint I had. The facility is beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Loved the cleanliness of the rooms. The bath towels were so thick and soft; they were wonderful. Breakfast was included and had lots of options.

We had a room located off the highway and in the early morning you could really hear the traffic. The refrigerator outer door opened one direction while the actual frig opened the other direction and wasn't level.
