The hotel was right by the train station, although there wasn't much nearby, except a pet shop(!) which my daughter kept wanting to go to. The hotel was super clean and we had an amazing view of Mt. Bandai from the twelth floor. It was my first stay at a Toyoko Inn for about fifteen years, because I always thought the breakfasts were poor, but ours was pretty good for a budget hotel. Lots of options and plenty of food. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Aizu again in the future.

Nothing really. The staff were really friendly and helpful and after I'd accidently booked a smoking room by mistake they changed it to non-smoking for free (compare this to a hotel I stayed in the night before where I'd done the same thing, and they whacked on an extra charge). Coffee in the room would have been nice (it was just tea) but that's about it. Really nice hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfasts included a good variety of options. The room was clean and typical size for a Japanese budget hotel.

The hotel only has one elevator for about 110 rooms. If you're on a lower floor then the elevator is always full by the time it gets to your floor during the breakfast time. You can take the emergency stairs outside to the buffet but just one elevator is not enough for that hotel.

Very close to the train station (3mins walk), with many eateries within walking distance. A no-frills hotel. Rooms are rather spacious by japanese hotel standards. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Simple but delicious buffet spread for breakfast. Though the dining area was not big, turnover was quick & we could find seats on all 3 days we were stayed. Nonetheless, there are takeaway boxes if you cannot get a table to dine in.

There were no seats at the reception counter for my elderly parents to rest or place our luggages while we processed the check-in. However, we could sit at the dining area which was just beside the reception counter.

Stayed here just for a night because I needed to take the train very early in the morning, so it absolutely fitted my needs. Kind staff who immediately helped me with a request. Food delivery services also worked for that area.

Across the street from the train station and starting point of the hop on hop off bus stop. breakfast was a tasty mix of Japanese food. Room size was ok, beds are firm but comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

Comfortable rooms, decent view, a great value for the location - easy to get to the city sights and travel further on the train (just outside the station).

The water gets boiling hot - far hotter than the typical hot spring. Surprised me, but I'll be more careful next time.

Everything was up to my expectations. Small but very cozy room with all you need for a short comfort stay.

Neighbours were a bit loud but it's not the hotel's fault of course.

Stayed only for one night, good location, next to the station and walking distance from the centre, super friendly staff.
