The whole hotel had a magical feeling with high ceilings, wooden interiors, beautiful garden and even a wedding chapel. We stayed in a terrace room which was quite spacious and had an outdoor terrace looking out onto greenery. It was very relaxing to spend the afternoon having tea on the terrace with goods bought from the nearby Aeon Mall, which was only a stroll away. The staff at the hotel are exceptional, they went above and beyond when I misplaced my Kindle. I can't thank them enough! The gift shop inside the hotel was also wonderful, I bought lots of baked goods and gifts there.

The mattresses on the beds were a bit hard and lumpy

The hotel was of exceptional architecture and design. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The onsen was outstanding. The food was very good indeed. The hotel was in a good position for driving out the various national parks in the region

The city of Obihiro itself is not much to write home about but it does have a very nice park. The bed was quite hard, but I suppose that is normal for Japanese hotels.

The rooms were very well furnished. The hotel's location is excellent, with supermart and restaurant accessible by foot. Breakfast sets were unique and wonderfully prepared, especially the bread, soup curry and promanganate vinegar juice. The hotel restaurant staff went out of her way to provide a table of 6 for this large group.

Attraction brochures can have an English version?

Real hot springs, food of restaurant is delicious. My wife found that she left the earrings at our room after we left the hotel, communicated online with the customer service, they found the earrings immediately and sent to next hotel of us by express delivery with fast response, thank you ☺️

Exceptional value for the money. Our room was clean but looked expensively designed. The room even had a nice fireplace that provided heat. Try the bakery downstairs - it’s one of the best bakeries we tried in Japan. Try the cream horn from the bakery.

The rooms were excellent, spacious. Onsen was very good with a variety of indoor baths and an outdoor bath. Complimentary guest lounge with good coffee was welcome. Great pastries with breakfast.

While good value for our package, there were a couple of unusually cooked items included in the set western breakfast.

The room was very clean and functional. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is not far from the city centre. You should try the Basha Bar when visiting Obihiro. It was a lifetime experience.
