The room was very clean and spacious, and the window was huge with a marvelous view and great curtains that blocked out the light. The room came with a TV, safety box, mini fridge, electric kettle, and coffee maker. The yoga room is spacious and well decorated, giving off a definite Japanese air. The wood deck just outside of it gives an amazing view of the city and the ocean, and was great when doing outdoor morning yoga. The hot springs are also tastefully Japanese, and the women's public hot spring comes with a slightly cooler bath (Silky bath) that helps with your skin and then a deliciously warm hot spring bath. The showers and locker room also include amenities, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, facial wash, and more. They also provide towels, hair dryers, and some detox water. I really enjoyed their spa room, everything from their decoration, their music, and even the dimness of the room made for a wonderful immersive experience, I think I even dozed off a bit! The masseur was definitely top class, adjusting her strength to my wishes and changing based on how stiff my muscles were. The blue zone lounge was very luxurious, and had comfortable couches and drinks that you could enjoy from indoors, and also has a balcony with ocean view right outside. I would definitely recommend it to watch the sunset, it was beautiful. The restaurant had a delicious dinner with both Japanese and Western tastes, and a breakfast buffet that caters to many tastes. I personally enjoyed their omelettes and fruit selection. The staff was very kind, always ready to listen and willing to use translation devices to make our communication smoother. Even in the clinic check up, the counselor I was talking to was willing to repeat the same information in different ways until the translator gave an accurate translation. There are some staff members who speak English, but even when they weren't around I had no issues.
The elevator was a bit slow and always stopped at the fourth floor (where the reception is). Since the first three floors and part of the fourth are part of the station itself, I do think it was a good way to ensure that only guests could use the hotel floors (4 - 10). It also required using the room card to access the guest floors, so it was a good security measure even though it was a little bothersome to take it out each time.

The place is very new. The rooms were very comfortable. The location is very good, on top of train station and shopping place. Got good onzen.
The hotel has no ground-floor reception. There is no drop-off place for car and the parking is very far, so it will be challenging for those who have lots of luggages and have to drop the luggage using car.

The hotel location in the train station is fabulous. I liked the spa smell throughout the hotel and the onsite onsen was a treat at the end of a busy day.
I was disappointed that I could not eat dinner at the hotel even though it was empty it required 24 hours notice and my message via booking.com in response to the hotels email was not acknowledged.

The hotel is absolutely stunning and truly a pleasant surprise. The location is convenient, right above the JR train station as well as mall. However, since we were driving, we found the parking lot to be a bit distant, unlike other hotels where you can park right outside to unload your luggage. The room design is beautiful; the only downside is that it’s not very large, but it remains comfortable. The hotel offers many facilities, including a gym, massage services, and a hot spring, all of which are excellent. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making shopping easy. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pictures didn’t do this hotel justice. It was beautiful. The halls smelled like lovely hinoki. The facilities (onsen, spa, gym) are outstanding.
The western breakfast wasn’t great. Please make traditional Japanese breakfast!

The facility was new and top notch. They have an onsen and a lounge to really relax and focus on your well-being The location cannot be beat. It is literally attached to the Aomori train station. But more than anything is the service. The service is top notch from the staff greeting you when you are coming and going, the front desk checking you in, and the concierge to support any requests that you may have. We even had an opportunity to spend some time with the owner and have a few drinks at the bar. He went over and above anything you could ever expect to make our stay enjoyable not just at his hotel but in Aomori. They are all extremely attentive to ensure that you have the best experience possible. We came as guests but left as friends. I would travel back to Aomori just to stay at this hotel.

Our stay at Relabo absolutely exceeded our expectations: we stayed 3 nights on a Superior twin room, it was large, well appointed (mulberry tea, nice ceramic cups, beautiful Japanese style teapot, Nespresso machine with coffee caps, high quality soaps, shampoo, conditioner…), and tastefully decorated. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is a bonus. We appreciated the large windows and the view. We did not try breakfast (but will definitely do so next time) but had the Aomori winter Gastronomy menu in the restaurant on our last night and is was superb (huge congratulations to the Chef) and such excellent value for money. All the products are locally sourced, refined, with subtle taste, prepared to perfection, service is beyond friendly and professional, five stars! The onsen area is very relaxing, and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the Blue lounge (the BEST Jura coffee maker, various teas and 2 variaties of tasteful Aomori apple juice) with the best views. Location is also superb as it is right by the train station and yet very quiet. Highly recommended and next time we will try breakfast and some of the Spa & Yoga offerings.

Location was great since it was right at the Aomori station. The room was very nice and comfortable for three people. The breakfast was excellent and yummy. The hot springs was good and the private hot spring onsen was excellent. The lounge blue zone was a great addition and it was opened to all guests with beer during happy hours.
I did hesitate to reserve this hotel initially since I didn't know what to expect given the term "Medical" in the hotel name. Other than that I liked everything about this hotel and certainly would stay at Relabo again during my next Aomori visit.

When choosing a hotel, location, cleanliness, and amenities are often at the top of the list. It was my first time visiting the city of Aomori. I was delighted to find that this hotel exceeded expectations in all these areas. From the convenient location and impeccable cleanliness to the impressive amenities offered in the Blue Lounge, and not forgetting the genuinely friendly and knowledgeable staff, this hotel provided a truly exceptional experience. Let's delve into the specifics that made this stay so enjoyable, starting with my appreciation for the little things, like the pure apple juice and local snacks offered in the lounge, which made a big difference to the overall experience.

The location is perfect—it's very close to many delicious restaurants and attractions. The service was 10/10, and the view from the room was beautiful. We could see both the train station and the sea, which made it very special. I also highly recommend booking their private onsen—it was a relaxing and fun experience!
Sometimes you might have to wait quite a while for the elevator, but it's not a major inconvenience.
