We travelled in Iceland for three weeks, both camping and staying in guesthouses, and Árból was by far the best place we stayed at. It was a last minute booking and I can´t believe how lucky we were. The hosts were super nice, communicative both before check-in and during our stay. They even helped us to get in touch with the local brewery which wasn´t open for public during our stay and answered our random tourist questions in a very kind way (they must have heard them a thousand times). We stayed in a double room, which was comfortable and even elegant, like the whole interior decoration of the house. There was complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 and also fresh coffee (and fruit) in the morning. The room was in the middle floor where there were three bathrooms with two showers and three toilets but didn´t have to queue once even if the guesthouse was fully booked. For two nights we managed to snatch a parking spot next to the house and the last night after a day driving to Dettifoss and Mývatn, we parked on the other side of the street on a public parking area.

The property looks great and lovingly decorated making it a nice place to be and have a nice view from my window over the harbour. Again it seems like all the properties I stayed at in Iceland it was very clean and comfortable with easy check in and check out. Lots to do in Husavik as well. The restaurant just opposite the property was very good so all you need close by.

Couldn't park next to the property (but managed to park not too far away so not a major issue). Slight out of centre of town although being Iceland that means you are 10mins walk from the main stuff so again I'm nitpicking not an actual issue .

Arbol Guesthouse is the cutest guesthouse I stayed at in my entire Iceland holiday. You got everything you need in your room, everything was pretty clean, the design of the interior was beautiful and well elaborate and the hostess was so welcoming. She gave me a lot of advices for things to do in the area and where I still wanted to go. She's a local and pretty well known with Iceland (hiking, awesome spots and more beyond that). In the morning you got free coffee, juice or tea, some cookies and bananas for everyone who'd spend the night there.

We had an amazing stay at Árból Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making check-in quick and easy. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. On the first floor you have two separate bathrooms which is great because you don't have to wait for it to free up. We especially enjoyed the stunning view from our window. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the city, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very nice and cozy (you have to leave your shoes at the entrance, but there are slippers available). In the room, you will find a bottle to fill with water, a kettle, glasses, and cups... even a small dark chocolate 😍. The beds are very comfortable and there is carpet on the floor 😍.The bathroom is located in the hallway and is very clean, it even has extra shampoo and conditioner (I always found the bathroom clean after I used it, probably there is a cleaning lady constantly there). In the hallway, there is free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and milk available 😍.Breakfast is served in the room and it was very good (I think the yogurt is homemade) and the bread was warm ❤️.

Just me traveling - a great cozy, comfy room with a view down "main" street and the harbor. A comfy chair provided a great spot to relax and look out onto the town while drinking both my afternoon and morning coffee. Bathrooms were spotless with well-worded instructions on use. Breakfast - healthy and a variety of breakfast foods including milk, o.j., and coffee. Comfy bed, quiet.

I can't think of anything to improve upon.

The rooms were very nice and big. The shared bathrooms were clean and enough available to share with other people. The breakfast was phenomanal, fresh baked cookies, brownies and warm croissants. It definitely exceeded our expectations.

It was so cozy!! It is an old home with tons of character. It’s right next to this amazing stream and walking path. The location was amazing. My bedroom was small and just had my bed and a chair basically. It was perfect for a solo traveller like me. I really appreciated the free coffee in the morning!

They could have put out the coffee a little earlier and you do share the bathrooms with others so that can be a little awkward but really I can’t complain about much. It was amazing overall.

There was a storm and the owner warned us of the ring road closing. She saved us from losing out on our itinerary so I commend her for helping us out so much. We did stay for a few hours and found the rooms and bathrooms very very clean. The hostess was super friendly and recommended good places to eat. And then we left before staying the night so we didn't get snow bound in Husavik.

So sadly we didn't stay overnight so we didn't get to try the beds. There was a storm and the owner warned us of the ring road closing. She saved us from losing out on our itinerary so I commend her for helping us out so much.

We loved the coziness and how everything smelled nice and looked so clean. It was very well located and the bathroom was very nice.

The house could have more amenities for any regular meal. A toaster, a portable oven, so people can cook considering how the whole town closes after 5pm in the winter. There’s no way to get water downstairs also, everything was ok except for these aspects that changed our experience
