We had the Deluxe double room with a breath taking Harbour view. The outside of the hotel seems a little tired but don't let that fool you. When you step through the doors into the lobby everything is modern and posh. The room is very big with lots of room to spread out your luggage and everything was clean. The beds are a little firmer than at other hotels but we like that. The bathroom is spacious. There are long curtains which make the room good to sleep in.

As in so many hotels there is not a lot of room in the bathroom to put personal items as there is a huge mirror but no shelfs. As the bathroom is big, it would be possible to add a shelf.

The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and informative. The room had an incredible view. I appreciated the huge windows. It was easy to walk to the harbor and shops.

The restaurant was full most of the time, and they didn't have a waiting list. We were advised to just "come back," and see if a table would become available. The most frustrating thing was that our car was towed the first night. We arrived after dark and didn't see the faint yellow X painted on the space where we parked. Even in daylight, the X was barely visible. The hotel should take some responsibility for this- either asking the city to mark the space more clearly or by asking guests for their license plate number. The next night, we saw that someone else was parked in that spot, and we felt bad for them.

The location is perfect - can walk anywhere. The staff was incredible - friendly, attentive...it was my Mom's 70th birthday & I'd wanted to surprise her with champagne & chocolate. The man checking us in understood the assignment :) and was able to understand through my very awkward coded language (with my Mom standing right behind me). Not only that, they upgraded my room to be right next to theirs with a shared doorway AND let us check-in early. The breakfast buffet was great AND you can choose to purchase it the day of, so can decide how you feel that morning. The hotel was spotless, impeccably designed and clean, and again, cannot say enough good things about the staff. I highly recommend staying here!

Nothing! Loved it!

This hotel has the perfect location for fully taking advantage of Husavik, right in the middle of everything. The lobby and facilities were modern and beautiful. The room was fairly small, but comfortable. The bathroom here, however, was larger than the Fosshotel Lind in Reykjavik with a decent sized shower. The room was a little warm and hard to ventilate, but we were happily given a fan when we asked. The included breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options...hot and cold. The staff was very friendly.

Our room ended up being right above the bar patio, so we weren't able to keep the window open or the room filled with cigarette smoke. We felt it was too late to ask to move room locations and just wanted to sleep, but the room was a bit too warm with the window closed. However, the staff was very happy to provide us with a fan, which helped immensely!

Clean, new (I was surprised it was supposed to be 3 stars. I thought it had a feel of a 4 star hotel). Nice big lobby, Friendly helpful staff, nice big hotel restaurant.

Not enough dietary restrictions friendly options at breakfast. If you happen to have some unlucky combo like lactose + gluten intolerance then they have less options then other hotels we've been to.

Such a beautiful hotel in Husavik. Very affordable and a good location ! The room was spacious enough for us to easily open our 2 big suitcases. We had both a bathtub and a shower in our room and it was very appreciated after lots of driving and hiking. Super comfortable and clean. And we were minutes from the marina for our Whale watching tour. Hotel has a nice bar and restaurant too.

Good location in Husavik, free parking.

Asked for a double bed, received two single beds pushed together which would drift apart if you want to cuddle when sleeping. Bathroom was maybe 1 square meters. If you‘re fat, you won‘t fit in the shower. We booked this place well in advance and were really looking forward to it. But €600 for 3 nights (breakfast NOT included) were really overpriced for the treatment we got. We stayed there in the beginning of May, 2024.

As with all Fosshotels, it was clean, modern, comfortable, with with fantastic staff. We were only a point to point Rung Road trip. I wish we had spend several days in this area as it was one of my favorite stopping points in the north. The is would have been a great spot to have stayed multiple days.

There’s nothing I would complain about either this facility.

We were given a room with a fantastic view of the Husavik church and Harbor. Husavik is small so everything was within walking distance of this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel were both excellent.

My only complaint is small - the hotel needs to figure something out with the hot water containers as they were routinely empty - they are too small.

Excellent location, easy to find. Restaurant was delicious and food exceeded my expectations. Staff was very, very courteous and genuinely kind, helpful. Check in/out process was quick and simple.

Room had two lights that were not working. Radiator wasn’t warm enough or not working either, as my room was pretty cold throughout my stay. Great for a one night stay but would look elsewhere or perhaps just a different kind of room for a longer stay. I liked the hotel, I just think I got placed in a room that needed some repairs. Unfortunately I paid quite a high price for a single night in a cold, noisy room with broken lightbulbs and zero toiletries.
