The couple running this place are so delightful, i know this is common in Bali but these two were particularly lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, she even held my hand so I didn't slip after heavy rain whilst showing me the short cut to the STUNNING Diamond Beach area which is walkable, we went twice cos we loved it so much and wanted to catch sunrise there. The food was yummy and made with care. The room was large, modern, clean and comfortable with a MASSIVE bed and great aircon. The surroundings and gardens are very neat and well cared for. We are a couple, travelling with our 17 yr old daughter, we were looking for peace and quiet, its very rural in this area so not much action, but that's what we wanted. There are several warungs and mini marts at a walkable distance (once they show you the shortcut as the road has several dead ends) We like walking and hiking, it might be tricky if you have mobility issues, but the driver they organised for us for both transfers and some site seeing was also lovely, safe and reasonably priced. Being rural, the day starts with so many birds and roosters at sunrise which we LOVED as its so different to our home life. It was a bit cooler too as I guess its quite high with sea breezes. We loved it and definitely recommend. At this time of year July, we didn't see any mozzies at all. And all at a particularly reasonable price! Thank you, we hope to be back one day 🙏😊

Only a small thing, but the sliding door to our room, could be tricky and hard to shift ( not uncommon in Bali weve noticed) Careful on the white tiles if its rained. I imagine a pool would be amazing in hotter weather, but we didn't need it in July.

This place made our stay in Nusa Penida truly amazing! The rooms are spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The peaceful garden is a perfect spot to relax. A special thanks to Serianti, the lovely host who takes such good care of everything. Plus, it's just a 25-minute walk along a side path to Diamond Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay - highly recommended!

One thing to keep in mind: the road leading to the property is not in the best condition. I highly recommend using a local taxi instead of driving yourself.

Our room had big windows overlooking rainforest which was stunning, and a lovely outdoor seating area. Bed was comfy and A/C was good. Breakfast was nice and they can cook you dinner/lunch too if you preorganise it in the day.

Ad is slightly misleading, says the room has kitchen including fridge, coffee + tea facilities etc which it does not. A bit of a shame as were looking forward to being able to cook ourselves. Also doesn't have TV as the ad suggests (which we don't care about) but would be nice to have a more accurate representation of the room online.

The place feels like a paradise. Close to the Diamond Beach. The hostess family is extremely nice and kind. The food and place is very clean, although her menu is not the largest, it has all the necessary. Good aircon. Overall loved our stay here

The road is not too well kept. We had scooter. They have walking shortcut that takes 5min (down - up). Need ok physical fitness. 25min walk to diamond beach (good phys fit). We did 5min shortcut walk + 10min scooter.

Very good value for the money, quite and surrounded by nature place, 25min walk to Diamond Beach entrance 20 min from Tree house.

The road quality leading to the location, it is very bad so if you coming by the scooter I highly recommend to leave it by "Warung The Sorent" and it is just 5-10min walk from there. Please contact property for instructions or for someone to get you from there.

Almost everything! Its a beautiful space with a lovely garden and close to beautiful sunset/sunrise spots options in the Diamond Beach area. The restaurant served delicious food and the hosts made coffee for us at 5am so we could go see the sunrise ^^

The pillows! They were very large and hard, which made for an uncomfortable sleep. So we took the pillow cases off and filled them up with our clothing but to my girlfriend's horror there was black mold on the cover's inside, which is a big no-go. For sure needs a replacement.

Super beautiful accommodation! The garden is a dream! Very green and peaceful area. The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. For breakfast, lunch and dinner you can order at the reception (or via WhatsApp). They have a good menu and you can eat in the public areas or at the terrace of your room/tiny house. The food is very delicious. Rooms have enough space to store luggage, AC and TV. My highlight was the bathroom with an open air shower. To reach the place you have to drive along a gravel road (it looks like you are going to the middle of nowhere). This might be a bit challenging for inexperienced (scooter)drivers. Other than that it’s a perfect location to explore the east coast of Nusa Penida with all important tourists spots. We loved our stay here and can highly recommend the place!

The place is very quiet, beautiful, comfortable and clean! In the middle of nature, close to diamond beach, but if you don't drive the location may not be so good. But even so, the staff are super sweet and friendly and are willing to help with anything you need! I went to stay only 3 days and ended up extending it to 8 days. It's a great place for those who want to relax. It was my best stay in Bali and I highly recommend it!

Really beautiful place and peace! Very nice and kind hostess. Excellent food. The lady arranged a transfer to the port for us in the early morning hours and yet we did not miss breakfast. There is really nothing to complain about. If we had not had another program planned, we would have stayed longer than 3 nights. Thank you very much! Jan, Oli and Jiri

The hotel and gardens are beautiful with lots of nice spots to relax and enjoy watching the sunset over the mountains. The owners were so lovely and helpful and the mie goreng is delicious. There is also a shortcut from the hotel, and we walked down to Diamond Beach for sunrise, where we had the whole beach to ourselves for 2 hours before other tourists arrived. We would highly recommend Gapul as a place to stay.

The access road is a bit bumpy if you arrive by scooter in the dark.
