This hotel was gorgeous and had a great location right by the bay and little restaurants. Our room was great and had a lovely view. They provided coffee beans and a pour over setup in the room that made great coffee to enjoy with the view in the morning before we went over to the breakfast buffet. The onsen was very nice with lots of different baths to use and also a great lookout of the city. If you like a snack after the onsen, they have free ramen from 10pm-11:30pm. Everything was super clean and it was a great stay.

Nothing was wrong with those property.

Breakfast was good quality with variety of choices (but I also stayed at the other hotel for comparison which I found a better breakfast place). The location is probably the best in this area. Plenty of parking spaces besides the hotel building.

So crowded at the buffet line area as it's relatively small restaurant compared to the size of hotel and number of guests as well as onsen that considered so crowded. My room also disappointed as it's far deep in the building away from the bay and it's after a corner of the building design so that the view from the room towards the bay was limited. Limited of elevator makes long line in the peak time e.g. breakfast, free ramen time.

The breakfast spread was amazing, which was the reason why we booked this hotel in the first place. The onsen was also great, they had both indoor and outdoor baths which we enjoyed. After the baths, there is also a nice resting area for you to blow dry your hair, put your skincare and grab a quick vinegar drink (I love this drink).

The rooms were definitely underwhelming compared to the facilities. It was rather small and we couldn’t even fully open 2 large suitcases. It has a nice retro vibes with all the dark wooden furniture but you can tell it’s pretty old and under maintained.

Vibes and atmosphere were great , I went on snow season And the view from my room is unbreathable. I would recommend the breakfast , it is the best breakfast I have ever try in Japan . There are may variation of food you can select in breakfast. The location is great you can walk by 3 minutes to The red brick warehouse.

Great breakfast buffet, relaxing rooftop hot spring with view of Mt. Hakodate. Location is conveniently located within 15 minutes walk (or 3-5 min taxi) from Hakodate Station, and is accessible by bus route as well. With its location at the mid point between Mt. Hakodate ropeway station, Hakodate Station, and only a few minutes walk from the morning market area, you’re in for a treat. La Vista Hakodate Bay was also conveniently located close to the Red Brick Warehouse shopping district.

Things nearby closed relatively early, but nonetheless was a relaxing trip!

The spa experience was beyond my expectations, neatly and well thought designed. The room's lighting and design was great.

The AC didn't work very well. After researching online, we found this was a common complaint. Opening the window seems to be the only solution. Which helped but in the morning we woke up freezing. The dinning area in the morning was overly crowded.

The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and Japanese dishes. The view was outstanding.

The hotel is a little tired looking and could use a refresh. But staff were helpful and everything was clean.

The location was superb, close to many tourist spot (within walking range). The parking spot was sufficient. The breakfast was really good with variety of fresh seafood.

the breakfast revenue was too small. if you don't wake up early to be on que, you have to wait for long (may be > 1 hr)

The hot springs on the top floor, with so many options to enjoy inside or outside, cold bath and sauna!! Wonderful breakfast to satisfy all appetites, western and traditional Japanese buffet breakfast.l Free coffee on the ground floor and free ramen every night from 10pm-11:30pm!

They could improve their English skills.

The location is convenient for the getting to the bay area, the ropeway to Mt Hakodate and the Motomachi area.

Some parts of the wood furniture in the room showed signs of wear and tear and could do with some touch ups.
