This hotel is a hidden gem - exceptionally good value and particularly suitable if you're in transit to or from Koh Samui via Seatrans coach and ferry (as we were). The room was clean, bright and a decent size, complete with a balcony and fridge. No hairdryer - but at this price that seemed a minor issue (the '10' score reflects the exceptional value - you can't expect 5 star facilities at the price we paid!). There's also a pleasant courtyard and seating area outside, and washing machines should you need them. The staff were very friendly too! All in all, highly recommended.

Amazing and very friendly staff! They helped me a lot, and when I found out I left my phone they sent me a delivery to Phuket. Apart from the staff being extremely helpful and friendly, I would also note the nice little breakfasts, cozy atmosphere, good location near the bus station / shopping mall. The room is neat and I think the hotel is a great budget option.

Because we wanted to go to Thailand's National Park and then to Koh Samui, we decided to spend 3 days exploring Sura Thani. We stayed here for three nights and had a great stay. The accommodation is next to the school and the 7-Eleven is just around the corner. The hostess is very nice and speaks good English. We felt at home straight away. Our room had air conditioning with a balcony and a bathroom. Everything was very clean and bright. Every morning there are bananas, toast, tea and coffee for free, which was very practical to start the day. We are considering coming back to Papangkorn House because the city is a good stop to avoid long bus rides and to relax more.

Perfect place for a nights stay in Suratthani. We needed a place to stay whilst waiting for the morning Ferry and this did just that. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff kindly helped us with laundry and they had a small breakfast laid out in the morning. Good location too with nearby 7/11 and restaurants. Overall absolutely no complaints.

This place was amazing. I initially stayed for one night, prior to having some surgery in nearby Thaksin hospital. The room was very clean and comfortable, so I decided to book some additional nights for after I would be discharged from hospital (as I did not want to travel back to my home on Koh Phangan directly post-surgery). When I booked the extra nights, I requested a room on the ground floor and some additional pillows for support. On the day I was scheduled to be discharged, the hotel manager messaged to say she had given me a room closest to the reception desk, in case I needed some assistance post-surgery. She also sent a picture of the bed she had prepared with lots of extra pillows. This was so thoughtful and I really appreciated the kindness and effort. In addition to my personal experience with my surgery, the hotel is very clean and the bed was comfortable. The access to coffee, toast and bananas for breakfast is a brilliant extra! Thank you so much to the staff for making my post-surgery stay so comfortable and stress free.

Everything was fantastic.

Very satisfied with hotel staff were very friendly and helpful , bed nice and soft mattress, room had all basic amenities needed, toilet was very clean, towels shampoo and soap provided, 60 inch TV with Netflex , water provided everyday , rooms were cleaned on every day, I will be returning to Surathani in week and will definitely stay again

Nothing to dislike everything was perfect

Our room was really comfortable, big, clean, comfortable, everything we needed for a one night stay before heading to Khao Sok. The staff were very friendly and helpful too, giving us lots of recommendations and informing us about the festival going on that week. Would have liked to stay another night.

Really nice place for a really good price. AC was working perfectly. It was the only place I've used the TV because it was so big and...smart. Staff was friendly. They provide coffee and fruits for breakfast. The lobby has some good couches and places to chill. Balcony is perfect for a smokers.

We only stayed for one night due to our morning ferry from the pier. The staff was incredibly friendly, greeting us with welcome drinks. It's an affordable stay with clean rooms and accommodating staff. The location is ideal – just a 7-minute walk from the shuttle bus's last stop from the airport. Additionally, there's a nearby 7/11 supermarket, and it's only a 5-minute walk from the night market.

We stayed one week and enjoyed our stay a lot thanks to the: Kind staff, very comfortable room, great location 15 min walk from an amazing night market, small free breakfast included for everyone. This accomoadation is great value for money!
