The AC was truly a comfort for me. I get dehydrated very VERY easily, even when I am drinking a lot of water. Just a life-long thing. The staff were extremely helpful, especially when I lost my phone--off the property! Yes they helped me retrieve it. HamduAllah! The room was nice. Not too fancy, just basic, but that's all I wanted/needed. The breakfast was kind of bland, as far as choices and variety. It was really just starches: croissant, bread, etc. The bread itself was very good and the nutella (or something similar) spread was great! The pancake/crepe was ok, nothing to rave about.

The lack of variety for the breakfast food, the lack of a refrigerator in the room. The location is so close to stores and shops where you can you get your own snacks, water/drinks, etc., but without a refrigerator to keep them cold, its pointless. Some Ataya would have been a very nice treat! They are in the midst of renovating and that does put a damper on things! Had I known this, I probably would have chosen a different property. A lot of the amenities that COULD be enjoyed, like a rooftop view of the city, are not quite up to snuff. In fact, the rooftop area and some of the floors (not mine) look like no one has been up there for ages.

Of all the hotels that I've stayed at in the Dakar/Thies area, this one is the best value I've seen so far! The rooms are clean and generally in good repair, and the room decor reminds me of Japanese style. One particularly interesting feature of the rooms is the proper French bidets! The rest of the hotel suggests that the management is also interested/involved in the art community, as the pictures and wallpaper designs suggest. Staff were very kind and helpful, particularly when helping me address problems we encountered in getting my wife from the airport. Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling, and the location is convenient to a supermarket, several banks/ATMs, and one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at (Alloo Sushi and Foods)!

There was a safe in the room, but it was closed and locked, so I couldn't use it.

The apartment wasn't actually located at Illyin which came as a surprise but wasn't a problem. The location was good and the apartment was a good size and comfortable. Oumar was helpful and got the wifi working and sorted the electricity. The cleaner came twice and did a good job.

Although there weren't many mosquitoes, there were a few and we did get bitten during the night. I think it would be useful for mosquito nets to be provided. It would also be useful if a bit more crockery was provided - in particular some cereal/soup bowls would have been useful.

The staff were really great and made me feel really welcome during my stay, especially given that I was there for so long. The hotel is conveniently located near a super market. My room had AC and the room size was good. The wifi also worked really well. Overall, I'd stay there again.

The card machine didn't accept any of my cards so I needed to make a plan to find cash, which was inconvenient and a bit costly. Some days, my room wasn't cleaned so be clear to ask for a cleaning when you leave for the day. There is no restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast is a croissant and french loaf. Also, if you need a mini fridge, just confirm with the hotel whether your room has one.

I loved this hotel & will go back for sure. There is a lovely vibe & lots of places to relax & chill. I loved the decor & as it is also in a lovely area - Mermoz , I felt very safe as a single woman . Breakfast on the terrace was delightful.

The room I occupied was on the ground floor and close to the kitchen. The noise from the kitchen; plates and cups, woke me up in the morning. Secondly, there was no kettle in the room.

Breakfast was ok, i believe its value for money compared to some other stay with same price without breakfast

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is well situated in Dakar to walk to the corniche and get around. The facilties was as shown and the work spaces were very suitable.
