The breakfast that was included was very nice. On the weekend it was buffet while during the week a nice menu. The beach in front of the hotel was not super safe, but within walking distance to a safer beach with no rip tides.

The down side of the restaurant was it was extremely high priced, even for drinks, outside of the included breakfast. They mentioned there would be beach side service, but found they didn't offer anything while we sat on the beach chairs. Also mentioned there was going to be beach bonfires, but didn't see any. :(

Beautiful bungalow with 2 very comfortable beds and a gorgeous bathroom. You can lay in bed and look at all the lush plants outside. Patio was nice to relax on with a cold beverage. The restaurant was great, it was tastefully decorated, comfortable and the food is delicious. They even had a cookie jar and fabulous cocktails. Checking in was lovely and the gentleman at the front even walked us all the way out to the beach. One can feel that the owners have put their hearts into this resort and they care deeply for their guests.

The safe key had been misplaced but they got it to me the next day. No other issues-this place is a gem!

I recently returned to Almonds and Corals after their renovations, and I was blown away by how beautifully they’ve updated the property while keeping the magic and charm that makes this place so special. Nestled right between the jungle and the beach, it’s a true escape where you can disconnect and fully immerse yourself in nature. The new updates have made everything feel more comfortable and refreshed – from the rooms to the common areas – without losing that unique open-air, eco-lodge feel. The staff were as warm and welcoming as ever, and the service was top-notch. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Caribbean rainforest, Almonds and Corals should be at the top of your list. The renovations have taken it to a whole new level. Can’t wait to go back!

An absolute paradise tucked away steps to the beach. This was a dream come true to be in the jungle on the beach with all the comforts I desired...an amazing restaurant/bar, a clean, beautiful open air bungalow with the most comfortable bed! Excellent Wifi, Yoga classes, and nature all around. I was in heaven! Thank you so much to the very kind staff at Almonds and Corals! Best part of my vacation! I LOVED IT!

I can't think of anything I didn't like, I will return!

We loved out stay here. Be carefull when choosing your location, if you want to have glass windows, or the "open" experience with gaze. We loved the fascilities, the location with private beach, the lovely path between the houses. It's more beautiful in real life then the pictures make show.

The restaurant food could be improved. But still very happy with our stay.

Beautiful and spacious bungalow, 3 minutes from an amazing beach with areas of black sand. It was great to be immersed into nature and hear all the noises. Quite funny to weak up with the sunrise because of the howling monkeys, but we took advantage to get an early swimming.

The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We would have appreciated more the fruits and traditional local food. Our neighbors were quite noisy in one of the evenings, we could easily follow their fight because the bungalows were closed.

The property is tucked away in the jungle, with private access to this beautiful and quiet beach! The howler and spider monkeys were swinging over our head every single day, mornings and evenings. The on site restaurant is also fantastic! Great food, great cocktails, great setting!

Everything was great!

This hotel is situated right in the rainforest, bordering the Caribbean Sea and next to almond trees. As soon as you arrive you feel at peace, the surroundings envelop you and treat you to a magical experience. The hotel needs a little maintenance and because the restaurant menu is very limited, although, the breakfast options are very good and delicious. The rooms were clean and nice, they do not have TV or air conditioning, but if you think of it like camping, you're ok.

Amazing place in the jungle. The huts were big and with lots of room. Was a brilliant experience to be sleeping in the jungle with the animals and the huts built next to the trees. The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly.

The huts need a little bit of maintenance. I believe they are already doing this so probably not a problem

great experience in the rain forest! it was an amazing experience to be surrounded by the rain forest. lots of interesting sounds! Fiorella is an amazing manager and communicated very regularly! she was very accommodating with our late arrival.

The food was amazing, especially the breakfast. it was really an interesting menu. but the wait staff and the bartenders were novice and really needed training. it is hard to believe that the bartender ran out of local beer and couldn’t make a margarita.
