Great base for visiting the Everglades and surrounding area. Everglades City was pretty quiet when we visited....although we were told it was high season 😁. Good self catering facilities, easy to walk to local shops for supplies and nearby restaurants did fantastic food and drink. Very happily return, large rooms

Accommodation could do with a little tlc but other than that a good place to stay, wouldn't put me off a return visit, maybe needs more storage in the bedrooms, no drawers in there, only hangers. Strangely the only mirror in the accommodation was in the bathroom, could be an issue for groups when people are showering and getting ready to go out.

It was simple, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Special shout out to the front desk for letting me check in so early. That was really awesome and I appreciate it. It’s the main reason to write this review. Any hotel/motel that goes out of their way to accommodate their guests deserves a review.

It was a bit noisy in the apartment I had. I think the walls are very thin so I could hear everything from next door. Thankfully, I brought earplugs with me.

Nice location. Good restaurant and cafe recommendations from the receptionist.

Although we booked a disability accessible room, for which the bathroom was great, unfortunately the gap between the bed and furniture was too narrow to push a wheelchair through to the bathroom. My wife has to get out of the chair, for me to collapse it and go through the gap, before getting back into it to access the bathroom.

Room was a lot larger than expected so had plenty of space to open our suitcases. Lovely comfy bed and an amazing large shower. Very convenient eatery just at the back of the motel serving excellent food.

Very, very quiet little town that closes down by about 9pm. There was nobody about. We went for a little walk after eating but had to return as, even with bug spray, we were being eaten alive. However I do appreciate we were in the Everglades, so what else should we expect!

We were actually given a key early, because of the events we had scheduled. This was very helpful, and took off a lot of stress.

My husband and I are 72, and 67 years of age. We stayed in Room 22. As you enter, I tripped going in . The floor is not level, and there is a pretty big step up. PAINT YELLOW for us old people to notice the big step.

Very clean and perfectly situated for our activities in the area. We walked to the restaurants and kayak rentals. The kitchen was clean and had the equipment we needed to cook and enjoy breakfasts.

The white floors were a bit clinical feeling but my daughter pointed out that we could easily spot an alligator should one decide to visit.

Check in was at another local hotel - but very close by. The room was very large, great for a family of 4, very clean, comfortable and nice decor. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location to use the airboats. The town has more to offer than we expected and we would love to return in the future.

It suited our needs for our overnight stay - nothing at all to complain about.

The room was clean and quiet. The room had everything we needed. It being on the ground level is a manager reason for us to return to this location.

The only thing I saw that I would've fixed before renting out the room was the paint job in the bathroom was not finished. Other than that, it was fine.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and we appreciated the kitchen sink and cleaning supplies. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants.

Would love hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom. Refrigerator was a little noisy but we weren't using it so just unplugged it.

Clearly a travel lodge and was a little dismayed at the parking lot to door site. But, unlocking the door to a spotless, updated room that was more spacious than expected, was a sigh of relief! Contemporary bath and wonderful bed made me a fan. used small terrace to sit in PM as well as visiting with other guests in nearby rooms! Yummy breakfast next door, access to Glades right there, this is a quaint, seaside working town. like most of both coasts, recovering grandly from hard hurricane hits. The cleaners were among the best, wiping down outdoor waste cans, chairs, to scrubbing their guest's spills on the sidewalk. Wow!

check in nearby, although pleasant, seemed disjointed.
