Staff went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. Allowed early check-in. I ask for a reading light for desk .. delivered. the curtain between bed and coach gave my partner a place to read while I sleep.. handicap tub has lots of hand rails comfortable pull down shower seat. Camille Resturant 1 block way. Easy walk. Salads are fabulous, water sunset view. patio seating for relaxing with a drink. All resturants were good. Picture Big Cypress visitor center, ranger led wet walk, and historic smallwood store.

the entrance doors need a smooth transtition. suitcase wheels stuck on raised ceramic tile floor. newly remodeled hotel.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. Location is perfect for exploring the Everglades. The room was comfortable.

The pool was smaller than expected and gave the impression of not being very clean. During our stay we encountered a cockroach in our room. We alerted the staff, who assured us they have exterminators who come regularly and they came and disposed of the creature for us. However we had expected the room to be given a clean after disposing, which did not happen. Nor was our trash taken out during our stay.

Stayed here in July for one night. Arrived late, after check-in was closed. Everything was well-prepared for accessing our room. The room itself was large, clean and with a full kitchen (which we didn't use). No breakfast on offer, which is strange, but the gas station just across the street has enough choice.

We took a guided kayak tour the next morning, which was obviously organized by the same people as the hotel. As the tour started before the hotel counter opens we did the paperwork afterwards, at noon. Here we asked for a possible use of the hotel pool, as kayaking was quite exhausting and humid. Were not allowed to use the pool, though, "not after check-out time". I found that not very forthcoming (kayak tour was quite expensive).

The front desk staff was efficient, friendly and kind. They fussed (in a nice way) over my four grand kids and couldn't say enough nice things to them. The children truly felt welcomed. The hotel is neat and nicely furnished. Our suite was a HUGE, clean and well appointed! The refrigerator and microwave were great! There is a beautiful caged pool. It was a lovely little slice of tropical paradise. The cage was especially important because The Everglades in rainy season is overrun with mosquitoes! Swimming would have literally been impossible without the screened in space! The grands really enjoyed swimming!

The beds were a bit firm (we love plush soft) but reasonably comfortable.

The room was huge!I like the fact you can partition the room with a curtain.The bathroom was also big enough and had a nice shower. The location was good if you would like to do diff activities. Finally everything was clean and the ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful

I won't say I didn't like something, but there aren't a lot of places close by to eat or go to if you just want to take a stroll. But the cafe that was close to the hotel was very good.

Great location to restaurants and activities in the area. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff who made some great dining suggestions. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend a hotel suite when coming to Everglades City. It had all we needed during our stay. Directly behind gas station/store if you need anything during your stay which was very convenient.

The only minor dislike was our suite was just inside door at end of hall and when anyone entered security metal door during the evening or daytime hours the door shut loudly each time and was irritating at night when sleeping.

The staff were really excellent. Always very helpful.

There was no breakfast on offer! The mess of rubble lying around at the back and under the stilts. The bathroom door seemed to be hung on the wrong side. When open the door obstructed the entrance light switch. Perhaps the light switch should have been positioned on the wall closer to the room door.

The rooms set up and equipment. The dinner place that has been recommended was actually cool by the river and in walking distance from the hotel

That there is no breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is good. However Everglades city is nothing special...the breakfast place that was recommended is not really worth it, the waitress really not friendly, she was demotivated and on every question finding a brusque answers. Would not return.

Fire alarm went off .we had to evacuate nobody explained why or what was going on. Restaurant on premises was closed .

Room as pictured on the website Bed linens and bed comfortable Quiet Shower was good and plenty of towels Kitchenette fitted with crockery , cutlery, glasses , cleaning products. Big fridge freezer and microwave . The pool was indoors and although small welcomed . The receptionist was really helpful and kind .

The room lighting was shocking only one light over the kitchenette area and three occasional lights which were dim . No safe. Very little in the way of entertainment within walking distance . Restaurants and bars limited.
