Right on the beach. Spacious rooms. Excellent service to the room provided, (order by watts app). Back to nature. Do not book if you are squeamish of crawling / flying insects and reptiles. Beautiful views from the high positioned cabins but with many and exeptionally steep stairs.

Charge of 500 rupees each way to descend/accend the very steep and exeptionally bumpy road to the hotel from the car park. No option but to pay with luggage and quite a scary ride. Taken down in the back of a dirty track jeep booked through the hotel and clothes, bags and luggage filthy with red sand dust. Tip: Request a clean track taxi for same price.

What a lovely place! Our room was facing the ocean (far from kayak centre and river, that’s why we absolutely loved it!) and we enjoyed every moment while being there. Tasty food, free shuttle to the parking, very welcoming staff. I would definitely come back, one of the best “underrated” views in GOA (P.S. From OUR room)

No negative comments about the hotel itself. You are not allowed to swim on the beach, so it is view-only. We had a rat in the shower at night - well. It is in the middle of the jungle, so no complaints here. Kayak experience - very poor: river at 10 am was really dirty (plastic bottles and rubbish all over), but we saw monkeys.. We had a room with no A/C (we knew about it, it was not an issue for us).

We spent 4 nights here. Beautiful location - right on the beach - you could hear the sea throughout the night which was wonderful. The beaches were clean and the sea was fine to swim in. The whole place was unspoilt and very peaceful in the mornings and evenings. During the day it was busy with day trippers, especially around the Kayaking area. There was plenty of choice with food and we found it to be prepared well and good value. This is really a holiday for rest, relaxation and nature watching as there is little else to do. The WiFi was brilliant for the first few days and then a bit hit and miss so if you’re planning to work here you may need to bear that in mind. A huge thank you to Suresh who regularly brought our order of food/drinks to our beach house, sorted WiFi issues and even sorted our taxi back at short notice, when Goa Miles let us down. A lovely place that we’d definitely return to.

Beautifully positioned and layed out cottages. Lots of choice of aspect, river, sea, river and sea, raised, or beachfront views. Basic accommodations with heavy wooden furniture, clean, beds really comfy, no hot water in shower but didn’t mind as it was refreshing in the heat. We just had room with fan (personal preference). Rooms lovely temp through the night. Able to leave balcony door open too, hearing crashing waves all night. We enjoyed amazing food fish and curry over two days. We were well looked after by Suresh great guy. We did the Kyaking which was was a little disappointing, could only go so far before running a ground, fortunately this provided opportunity for a stop off at Samyama Retreat where we met a lovely guy Rivon who as a gift gave us free masala chai and a coffee for being his first guests of the day. This made our day extra special. We also glimpsed a kingfisher. Leaving on cloud 9 .

Absolutely loved it, great experience, couldn’t have been happier with Blue Lagoon Resort. Sadly the walk down to the beach was strewn with litter and waste, this was our first impression of the resort. As a community please keep Khola clean as you truly have a little bit of paradise here. First impressions count!

We chose Blue Lagoon Resort for the last two days of our Goa trip, wanting total relaxation and an escape from everything - and it absolutely delivered. If you’re looking for seclusion, stunning sunsets, and a peaceful retreat, this is the place to be. Getting There – An Adventure on Its Own The drive to Blue Lagoon is an adventure in itself! The road is a steep, bumpy dirt track with red sand, making it quite a rough ride. Luckily, we had a closed taxi, which turned out to be the best decision ever. If you’re heading there, prepare for a bumpy ride, and keep in mind that if you need to go back up for anything (like shopping), a taxi ride costs around 500 rupees one way - and trust me, you won’t want to go up and down that road often! The Accommodation – Simple, Beautiful, and Peaceful Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly and shown to our bungalow with a sea view, located above the beach rather than directly on it (likely due to high tides). The views were breathtaking, with palm trees framing the ocean - pure paradise. The bungalow itself was basic but beautiful, with lovely wooden furniture and a real sense of tranquility. A special shoutout to Som, who took care of us during our stay. He was incredibly attentive, always checking in to see if we needed food or drinks, and made us feel so well looked after. The Only Downside – No Swimming at the Main Beach While the beach at Blue Lagoon is incredibly scenic, with dramatic rocks and powerful waves, it’s not safe for swimming due to strong currents and hidden rocks. At first, this was a disappointment - we had this dreamy, remote accommodation, but we couldn’t even get into the water! A Hidden Gem – A Secret Swimming Beach On our second day, we discovered a secret path through the palm trees, leading to one of the most gorgeous, crystal-clear beaches we had seen in Goa. The water there was calm and swimmable, and while there were only a couple of accommodations and a restaurant, it was absolute bliss.

We found the paradise” We had a cozy stay in a bungalow at the beach. The bungalow had a big bed, shower and toilet. We had a lovely porch where we had a wonderful view of the ocean. We also had a private butler who provided us with food and drinks. The calm beach was quite, clean and wonderful. We also got amazing massage treatments at the nearby spa. We can really recommend the spa. The food was outstanding, delicious and they could also accommodate our food allergies. This is the perfect resort for having a quite and relaxing stay. We are going to return.

If you want peace and quiet in a secluded location you HAVE to stay here! We stayed for 4 nights and were sad to leave. The accommodation was clean, vast, comfortable and the staff were exemplary. The food cooked for us was mind blowing and are struggling to find anything like it on our continued travels in South Goa.

I wouldn’t say didn’t like, but the journey from the main road to the resort may be the reason it is not flooded with tourists. It is quite tricky but special taxis will get you there! And if you want to taste what we tasted you have to go 😊

Blue Lagoon Resort in Goa is a gem! The beachfront location, cozy cottages, and lush greenery make it the perfect place to relax. A big shoutout to Charan, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing stay. He was super helpful, friendly, and made everything so easy for us. The food was delicious, especially the fresh seafood, and waking up to ocean views was incredible. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Goa – and Charan’s hospitality makes it even better!

The beach front location, marvellous food brought to your balcony free of charge (or eaten in the restaurant overlooking the sea - your choice), coupled with the friendly hard working staff, all added up to make this venue rather special. The food deserves special mention; the varied menu offered a huge range of choice, all of which was cooked and presented to perfection. For those families with children, the lagoon was a haven of activity for young and old alike, enjoying paddling kayaks in the calm shallow water.

As with other places to stay in this particular area, it is worth mentioning the track down to the resort from the main road. Whilst the latter is a real test if visitors plan to make their way down on foot, on the positive side, it is well noting that the reception team are happy to arrange for taxis to take the strain free of charge.
