The hotel is somewhat remote and can be reached via a bumpy road. It is highly recommended to arrange a transfer through the hotel - the prices are even a bit cheaper than through the cab counter at the airport. The way to the hotel has signs and is easy to reach with the help of Google Maps (parking gps: 15.0612183, 73.9704849 - tip: load offline map as backup). The hotels wifi is good - only mobile signal is IDEA with 4G if you want to use your phone. Internet connection is off from time to time but that is the case from time to time everywhere in India and is not due to the facility itself. The resort itself is a wonderful, quiet, clean and well-kept paradise under palm trees. It is cleaned every morning, so there is no garbage lying around. The resort is not large and therefore very quiet - a big contrast to the rest of India. You fall asleep to the sound of the sea and wake up to it. Like heaven. It is quiet in the resort, also not a matter of course. In other hotels the staff is sometimes noisy - not here. Our room was well equipped with a kettle, coffee cups, fan, air conditioning, comfortable beds and was very clean. We had two large water bottles in the room, we would have certainly gotten more upon request. Due to the fact that it was a tent (with hotel room amenities), you have to expect a few ants in the bathroom, but we didn't mind. The bathroom itself is simple but better than some hotels in the rest of India. The sockets are well distributed and not worn out, our plugs held. For the cell phone charger, a slightly longer cable is recommended. There is enough light. We did not use the air conditioning, but it was fairly new and of good quality. The restaurant offer was good and had comparatively reasonable prices for the secluded location (beer 330ml from 110 INR, food between 350 and 450 INR). The breakfast was very rich, in addition to bread rolls and fruit, there were mostly Indian scrambled eggs, a thick soup with chickpeas, poha, coffee, etc.

The restaurant's offerings could be improved, especially in terms of vegetarian or vegan options. But that is complaining at the highest level. If in doubt, go to another restaurant that is within walking distance as mentioned above. We had very few mosquitoes in front of our tent (not inside), for which you can take mosquito spray with you - maybe it’s an option to offer moquito-coils for guests.

The location is surreal .. It's just amazing. Private beach, serene calm and no crowd. Beautiful stay for a peaceful holiday. Very close to Cola kayak centre.

The management can do a much better job at breakfast, the plates, cutlery were dirty. The food options were bad. The restaurant is overpriced. Almost double of what's charged in good restaurants of goa. They do not provide basic essentials like dental kits. The tents need more cleanliness. We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days, noone cleaned our room even once. Hospitality from the manger and staff is in general missing. The approach road to this place is not in a good condition. Best to use SUVs and 4-wheel drives. The location is isolated and you will take a minimum of 1.5 to 2 hours to reach anywhere. There is no mobile network here.

The breakfast was great, the staff was friendly and available and kind at all times. The location was amazing and the view breathtaking. Would go again given the price was fair as well compared to similar products

Stains on the bed sheets, especially given the sheets are white. The power went out multiple times thus it was very hot in the night, though I supposed its expected given the remote location of the site. The amenities could be better, for example the beach beds were dirty and some of them had noodles on them. Its inconsiderate of some travellers to leave such a mess but its also the duty of staff to always keep them clean( werent throughout our stay) - those noodles were just there for 24 hours

Review without mentioning Shanky and sumana would be incomplete. They are the perfect hosts, taking care of everyone, individually and making the guests comfortable. The location is picture perfect and much much better than nearby hotels, which I also visited. Limited menu but the food is delicious.

It's not a resort, these are tents with all basics including AC.

What a place! All respect to the staff. The restaurant food was amazing. The best place you can have in South goa. Cola. The beach and the star gazing was the best part. The space over all is very secluded and everybody kinda their own work. Shanky and sumana are one of the best hosts i have come across. I would come again with my family.

As I stayed in the newly constructed rooms, there wasn't hot water. That's the only problem I faced. But I enjoyed the cold water showers too!

Great location, an absolute dream. We extended the stay!

.... getting there. We came by bike and Google Maps gets you to another resort next door (over the hill). There is a very small track going over the hill but you can only walk that or go by bike. So revision of signage or GPS co ordinates is advisable. Nevertheless - wonderfull and charming place.

We loved Soneca Cola! It was on a beautiful beach and it felt almost like our own private one. The views were amazing. The personnel were incredible, helping us with every single detail before, during and after our stay. We have been traveling through India for some time now, and this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Great place to stay, the beach is just amazing, you got the feeling that you are on a desert island, but maybe this was just the case because we were the only guests :) Remember that you stay in a tent, but the climate is good because of the AC. You have a private bathroom but it is very basic.

Bathroom is very basic and the beds are quit hard.

- Cola beach was the most beautiful beach we've seen in India, it's truly spectacular and the hotel is located right in front of the ocean - Our tent had everything we needed for a short stay and it was clean - Food in restaurant was amazing but portions of some dishes felt small

- Service could definitely be better. Staff often needs to be called, sometimes they forgot to bring what we ordered, waiting time was too long - The road to get there is quite bumpy and covered in dust. For those who don't have their vehicles, they only option is taxi which is very overpriced (from the hotel to Agonda, appr. 8km 800 INR) - There is really not much to do except swimming and walking on the beach. There are other 2 restaurants on the same beach but that's it. So be prepared it's a relaxing stay and not for party people. In my opinion it's worth to spend there 2-3 days to relax

The location is absolute paradise, I don’t think you can get a nicer beach and location to stay in Goa. The views and beach were something out of a magazine. Would highly recommend. Very unique stay to be on such a peaceful tranquil beach. The beach was pretty spotless and there weren’t really any dogs.

The bedding and towels weren’t very clean. The pillows inside the case were not great cleanliness.
