I had a long stay at Sonho do Mar. Booked 6 nights and needed up extending for another 3. Agonda is a small paradise, really chilled during this time of the year and Sonho do mar make it even ala better experience . The bedrooms facing the sea are a lush , very clean and comfy and amazing view to the beach. The restaurant is also great :) Staff is also amazing, Rajesh, Vino and all staff members are always ready to help and make out the best of your stay.

A 30 seconds walk to the beach with very few people around - it was bliss- and you get a beach towel every day during your stay - a nice touch. Room is functional with the best shower we had during our 18 days trip in India. A fridge would have been a nice addition but cold water was readily available. Food good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and ambience is relaxed. Overall good value for money; we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend it and would go back.

Could be noisy occasionally in the evenings with dogs howling and proximity of kitchen but I am a light sleeper too. Main issue we had was trying to pay by card at the end of our stay and it took a while to get that sorted- had a conversation about that with the owner and still think a working card machine needs to be sorted. 😊

The accommodation's location was excellent, just a stone's throw from the beach. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. The cottages were cozy and clean, and the surroundings were well-maintained. Overall, a great place to stay!

Power outages were frequent in the cottage, though this seemed to be a common issue in the area, even in restaurants. Hot water was rarely available, but due to the warm weather, this wasn’t a major problem for me. The air conditioning didn’t work well, which made the heat a bit uncomfortable at times.

My young daughter and I throughly enjoyed our stay and honestly didn’t want to leave! The location was wonderful and we really enjoyed everything about our room and the resort setting… it was private, felt very safe, and the staff team was AMAZING. They were so very warm, welcoming, accommodating, helpful and showed such wonderful customer service - we felt so at home and taken care of! We were joined by a large group of loved ones, and were hosted beautifully by Sonho. Communication before my stay was on point as well and they didn’t miss a beat. There was nothing more I could have asked for, and we cannot wait to come back!

Location on the beach. Staff very friendly and great English. Rooms are much better than the photos, more modern and bigger. Value for money is good as it's better than what is around. AC in rooms are good. Beds are very comfy. Showers gave warm water and good pressure. WiFi is good when power is working but does cut out a lot. They have water refills in reception. They provide shampoo in bathrooms. Give beach towels each day. Sunset is amazing from the accommodation.

Food and drink at the restaurant is more expensive than others on the beach. Power cuts out often but that might be a goa issue.

Sonho do Mar was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. The AC worked great and the bed has a mosquito net. Even the furthest rooms were only about a 30-second walk to the beach. The staff were very helpful, even assisting with things outside of their regular duties. The food was great, and they even custom-ordered and prepared a huge crab for me. It was as close to a perfect vacation spot as it gets in this price range.

The food was just amazing! We cannot forget that fish curry we had, prawn curry, king fish steak, momos, everything was just delicious! And the sunset view while dining, beautiful. Breakfasts were also very very good! Service was great, friendly, making just good vibes there, room was very clean and good maintend. We had roof top room and the balcony view was amazing! Also beach and sea, clean, warm, it was pleasure to go to water. While staying there, we said we could come here every year, as everything you can imagine was just spotless.

Loved the family villa with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Good air con. Lovely location right on the beach (family villa is at the back so no beach view, but pleasant 30m walk through their small garden to the restaurant and beach). Food is pretty ok at restaurant.

Balcony/verandah of family villa is smaller than the other villas, so is a bit small to sit outside, but really it wasn’t a major thing with the restaurant and beach so close. We also had to ask for paper and tape to close the vent/hole in the bathroom wall, as there was no screen on it so all the mosquitoes could just come in.
