The meals in the pub were fantastic. Staff were lovely. Location was good for the area we wanted to explore. Kitchen was ok. Parking was no problem.
Shared bathroom wasn't cleaned regularly, no clean towels offered. No water in the kitchen area to wash your dishes..we had to use the upstairs bathrooms.

Easy check in, good size room adjoins main balcony. Clean, comfy bedding. Restaurant and playground on site. There was a communal room with tea and coffee making facilities. Clean shared bathrooms, there was a bath as well as shower. Short distance to local pool and shops. Enjoyed our stay.
Only small item so did not raise with team, felt the room could use bin, tissues and water.

Traditional Pub Accomodation booked at the last minute when we realised around lunchtime that we wouldn't be making Sydney by nightfall. It was Good Friday and expectations weren't high on being able to get a meal but the pub was open and the food was good, the rooms basic but clean. Shared amenities but clean.
No downsides

the staff were so friendly and accommodating especially Dylan, who could not do enough for us. Cheers Dylan The food was delicious and so fresh.
The band that played that night. We found the female singer to be quiet rude and either missed words in songs or sang the wrong words. The other band members were also not that friendly.

The shared bathroom was hard as some women locked you out despite it being possible to shower and toilet privately no fault of the hotel

The value for what you get.
The room I had was small and rather 2 beds I’d have preferred 1 bed and lounge chair or better a desk and a chair. But there was a common room where I could go to work

We had a wonderful night at the Pub. After a long days ride it was great to have a hot shower, change into clean clothes before heading downstairs for something to eat and drink. We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the staff were awesome and the food was great. We had a very nice evening.
There is nothing to say, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Bistro food is lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfy and the bathrooms serve their purpose. As the name suggests the Hotel is central to everything at Stroud.
The massive TV screen in the garden is so bright you need sunglasses but you sure don't miss anything! The toilets were locked in the morning meaning there was only one toilet for all guests.

It's handy and historic, pretty interesting building and area.
If men staying there used men's bathroom and stayed out of women's bathroom..as regularly directed by the friendly staff
