The cabin I booked was upgraded to a deluxe villa. The villa was very nice with all stainless steel appliances, nice outdoor verandah with black glass top outdoor setting, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, modern bathroom, this villa has a carport attached, also the decor is modern and it looks very nice. The park has a jetty for fishing, the kids had fun on the jumping pillow and enjoyed the pool, there's a bbq to use very close the the villa. So relaxing to sit on the verandah and watch the sunrise and set in the afternoon.

the laundry wasn't close to the villa. The laundry would be better if there was more washers and dryers also if they had larger ones to use especially during school holiday periods.

During this trip, we suffered from a storm in Port Stephens. For two out of the three days, the hotel had no electricity and internet. Fortunately, the kitchen had a gas stove, so we were able to cook. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we didn’t have the chance to use most of the appliances. Overall, the hotel stay was quite comfortable.

1 The room list includes a hairdryer, but we couldn’t find one in the room. 2 Several fences outside the villa were blown down by strong winds, causing a lot of noise at night, but no one came to fix it promptly.

We stayed in a family villa for 4, with kitchen and air con, quiet in the night, lots of rabbits arround. The swimming pool and jumping pillow are perfect for kids. Staff are friendly, there are movies in the big screen, and the long jetty is beautiful. Look up the sky in the night was an amazing experience.

Location is a little bit away from the attentions, only one IGA in town, overall was good.

Quiet and convenient to places we had to visit

DOGS!!!!!We were there for 3 nights. 3 wonderful ladies from housekeeping kindly came and cleaned our unit again after 1 night due to someone having a stinking dog in the room the previous night!!!!Doona and blanket hadn’t been changed after dog had obviously spent the night on it!!!! NOT good enough! Thankyou to housekeeping staff👍When booking it did not state it was a pet friendly unit!!!!

We liked everything about the property (stay)

Our issue was the payment - we booked 3 rooms with Booking.com’s VIP discount. The resort couldn’t honour the discount and made us pay the full amount of one room ($650) before giving us the keys. While my credit card was already debited the full amount for 2nights stay of 3 rooms. We did a late night check in and couldn’t argue with the front desk lady. Had to make the payment to get the keys. Thankfully I was able to dispute with Booking.com and get the refund after ONE MONTH. I tried contacting the resort as well on day one, but they didn’t help.

Our first stay was in the smaller chalet. Had everything we needed, clean, quiet comfortable. On our stay a week later we were given an upgrade to a deluxe chalet. Felt everything was brand new, lots of space everywhere, more private aspect from verandah. Really deluxe with two main bedrooms, felt a bit wasted just on a couple? Thank you we will return.

We have stayed here many times, in fact if visiting Newcastle or Sydney we make sure our return trip involves an overnight stop at this BIG4. We have never experienced any problems with any of the cabins we have stayed in. They have always been very clean and well equipped for our needs and stay. Would highly recommend this park.

The room provided all that we needed and you were right beside the water which was lovely. We were able to walk to the RSL club for dinner - 10 minutes level walk if that. I liked the fact that I could park my car directly beside the cabin.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

It was great for our stay, close to everything we needed and affordable, great value for money actually. It was clean and comfortable.

Mattress was uncomfortable so sleeping was a bit tricky.

Very clean Large, modern unit

Need allocated parking spots, the spot that was clearly for our unit had a car in it. We ended up parking on the grass as there were no other parking spots left. Park felt very crammed in and claustrophobic. …Can’t fault the actual cabin though and we would stay again.
