I stayed two nights. The first night my bed room 103 was really uncomfortable and the next day I mentioned it to a lovely blonde lady with a pony tail. Straight away she offered to move me. The receptionist next to her found it necessary to comment that they hadn’t had complaints about the bed before. I wasn’t quick enough to say “well now you do dear”. Later when I moved rooms and went to return the key and pass it to the grumpy one as she being the only one on,she ignored me so I said “ I will just leave it here then” totally unnecessary hostility. I have stayed here about 4 times before and it’s been lovely. Btw the bed in the room 101 was heaven. Also thanks to the bar staff for giving me an ice bucket and coming to my rescue when I left my glasses in room 103. Will stay again just one not so pleasant person won’t put me off 😊

Cranky receptionist

Every room was SO spacious and the balcony was lovely. The open living room looked stunning and the sofas were very comfortable. There are also TVs in every bedroom, a washing machine and dishwasher which is very convenient. The hotel also has great food and is located very close to many activities (e.g beaches, dolphin and whale watching, markets, Woolworths, etc). Would definitely book this place again.

We thought toiletries would include toothbrushes and toothpaste, however it only included shampoo/conditioner/body wash and towels. There was also no tissue box provided and no lift from the ground to upper floor. However these are very minor cons because the overall experience was amazing.

This was out third stay here so we clearly like the property, which is ideally situated adjacent to Nelson Bay shopping precinct. Easy on-site parking. Very spacious bedroom and huge bathroom. Comfortable bed and nice sheets and pillows.

Avoid room 109 as it has a bank of a/c units outside the windows and there was a constant and annoying hum. We asked for a different room for our second night and the staff were very obliging. My only negative comment about our next room (room 104) is that there is no convenient power point in which to plug in the electric kettle - had to use a power point near the bed which was a bit annoying.

My husband and I stayed here celebrating our 5 Year Wedding Anniversary. We had dinner and breakfast here. Beautiful food, nice wine, lovely venue and great location. Note: You get 10% off is staying in accommodation there. Just show your room key to get discount off food only. Our room was great and I loved the big freestanding bath ❤️ Being a Saturday night that we stayed, there was a band playing and they played up to midnight. Beautiful place to stay ❤️

My weekend was quite busy so didn't spent much time in the place, but certainly good value for money in a superb location.

1. Reception: Dont get me wrong, the ladies were absolutely great, but it was unattended most of the time. There were alternatives yes, but is no fun to wonder around a place you don't know looking for assistance. 2. For the quick and spontaneous travellers like me, that don't spend much time on line, would be good to have a list of whats happening in the area and the available transport options to the kep places. "You can look it on line..." yes, of course but what we are really after is the Local advise ! WHo wants to spent more time on line on a place like that !

clean and well presented, felt like a secure location. Staff were very friendly and probably would assist if asked but you shouldn't have to. Great location and handy to park close at no cost but its tight parking. Very reasonable pricing.

would have preferred a ground floor room, we're both nearly 70 and lugging a case upstairs is a bit of a chore. no-one in the foyer/lobby to assist or book in, had to go into the bar to find staff. may be better to have a bell/buzzer to alert staff to come to the visitors to book and assist rather than the other way around. Really small bathroom.

I loved the convenient location. Lovely, modern simple room.

I didn’t see a single staff member. I looked everywhere for an information booklet, there wasn’t one. I had to ask another guest about wifi as I was on a work trip and needed it. The info the other guest gave me though it answered my question, wifi still didn’t work and there was no one I could ask about it. There was also a dirty brown fresh looking mark on the blue bed cover which indicates it’s not washed between guests.

The Seabreeze hotel is very conveniently located.Close to the centre of town and a mere 200m from the marina which is stacked with numerous eateries. The room we stayed in was massive,the bed is king size and was super comfortable. The bathroom is also very spacious. The staff were very friendly and had us checked in without a fuss. I will most definitely recommend this place to stay and I will return to stay there too.

There is nothing I didn't like.

For a pub stay- it was great. Convenient, good price. Fairly quiet.

Lipstick kiss on the mirror- obviously had not been previously cleaned off. 2/3 roll of toilet paper only- and no spare( luckily not needed) Where on earth are you supposed to use the kettle?-and yes- I do drink tea. I resorted to a small part of the bathroom bench.

The room needs to update menu was not the same as restaurant, I had dinner in the restaurant and was so disappointed as my Sticky Date desert had bits off plastic through it after finding the second bit I took it back an show the staff an they refunded my desert money back so that turned me off having breakfast the next morning.
