Parking was underneath rooms, comfortable room.

On going to reception to book in and given keys for room and we went to room and I unpacked all clothes, food in pantry, fridge. I then went to see our friends up stairs and twenty minutes later a worker came to tell me my husband and I were given wrong room, so I had to go back to room to pack up and move rooms to unpack again. Was not happy, this could have been done better. When booking our stay at this resort I had requested our room and friends to be close. I understand possible not next to each other but friends were on another floor.

Getaway in the winter holidays for a family of 5. Check-in was easy done, staff was amazing with anything needed. The kids absolutely loved the Pool, still swam when the sun was high enough even though it was cool. Our 3bdr 2bthrm apartment was good, very spacious. The beds were sooooo comfy!! Big mink blankets in the cupboard were amazing. Location is good, within walking distance to the shops, cinema, cafes and marina, or could drive if needed.

Only downfall which isn't overly dramatic is that we only had the 1 aircon in the loungeroom. Other than that, no dramas

We recently stayed at Mantra Nelson Bay over the Easter holiday break for a family getaway, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is spot-on—just a short stroll to the shops and restaurants, making everything super convenient. Our accommodation was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kids absolutely loved the pool area—they had such a great time and didn’t want to leave! A big thank you to the two lovely ladies at reception—they were fantastic! So welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We highly recommend Mantra Nelson Bay to any families looking for a convenient, comfortable, and family-friendly place to stay. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Everything else was great, but just a small suggestion: when checking out, we had to wait quite a while for the lift as everyone was leaving at the same time with their luggage. Since many people were trying to use the lift at once, our turn took longer than expected. With so many apartments in the building, one lift doesn’t seem to be enough to handle the load during busy times.

We spent two nights at the Mantra apartments in torrential rain but we still enjoyed our visit. We found the apartment to be very convenient, spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked having two bathrooms. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We were walking distance to some excellent restaurants and cafes so we enjoyed ourselves without getting too wet. The under cover parking was very helpful. For a longer stay, the apartment is close to shops and has a well equipped kitchen and laundry. In better weather, it is also walking distance to the harbour for restaurants and boat excursions and has a great swimming pool.

Nothing except the weather. The apartment exceeded our expectations and we couldn't have asked for anything more.

The Comfort and layout of the apartment was excellent as was the location which greatly suited our needs.

It would have been very helpful to have some information in the apartment as to how to operate the television. We had a great deal of difficulty in trying firstly to turn the television on and then also trying to work out how to turn it off. When I handed back the keys I suggested to the Reception that some form of information in the room about this problem would be very helpful, but I am not sure that they were very interested in my comment.

Very convenient location. Within walking distance to Nelson bay shops and restaurants. The apartment was well presented and especially the living-dining and kitchen were very spacious. Bed was comfortable and reasonably supportive. A/C worked well and not noisy. Parking spaces were undercover and generously sized. It really offers a lot of value for the price I paid.

I only found some minor gripes which may not bother other people. Vertical drape blinds are fitted on both of the bedroom windows. I would prefer some properly lined curtains as the morning sunlight makes a sleep-in more difficult. My Visa debit card was charged a 1.0% surcharge via advance charge from the hotel (Mantra). The surcharge was not shown when I made the NON-Refundable reservation, so you should watch out if you are a price conscious person. The apartment was reasonably clean compared to other holiday apartments in the area. They could do a bit more "detail cleaning" in the some areas of the bathroom, door frames, light switches and window frames.

the room, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and whole apartment was lovely. on suite, balcony to get fresh air, the undercover parking , convenience walking distance to the shops and wharf. I chose it to have the outdoor pool option but I did not end up using it

the gym, I spoke to reception about the incredibly poor condition of this and have since received an email from the hotel saying they are sorry and will be addressing this situation

Spacious apartment with all the necessary amenities. Especially appreciated the availability of two EV chargers on site. Very convenient to the shops and restaurants in Nelson Bay.

Only some minor points of slight annoyance - some of the vertical blinds had fallen down (could have been attended to by housekeeping) and the microwave and oven clocks were not set and blinked incessantly - ended up working out how to set them so they stopped flashing.

Easy check in. Room was clean and with a well appointed kitchen. Beds and sofas were comfortable. Staff were readily on hand for any questions. The washing machine had an error issue, the staff were approachable and had maintenance come and look at it within an hour. In the meantime, they gave us access to another unit to use its washing machine. Our washing machine was fixed the next day.
