Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments are in the best location in Nelson Bay, second to none. Our accommodation at Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments was exceptionally beautiful, especially in regards to the scenic views of Nelson Bay, from our apartment and it's spacious balcony area. The Nelson Bay Marina, and it's beautiful Nelson Bay foreshore paths and marina breakwaters, are just 100 metres across the main scenic road from Nelson Bay Motel & Apartments entrance. Including an easy walk and access to the Nelson Bay Marina with a pedestrian light crossing and beautiful footpaths. On the 1st floor of the Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments are cafe's and restaurants with scenic views across the road to Nelson Bay, combined with an arcade within that 1st floor that leads to the picturesque ground floor street behind the Nelson Bay Towers that has many unique shopfronts on that street as well. The ground floor of Nelson Bay Motel & Apartments is located on the main scenic road, having many beautiful shopfronts, including fashion, cafe's and pizza, and other shopfronts for both locals and tourists. The ground floor of the Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments also includes individual car parking that is completely secure with a key fob entry and exit security gate, including CCTV security cameras. There are many other shops and facilities within walking distance closeby, including a five minute walk to a Woolworths supermarket, and a five minute drive to the Nelson Bay Hospital. The Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments includes exceptional fob keyless entry security for entry into the lift, apartment, common areas, and other entry and exit doorways. CCTV security cameras are also included to provide excellent security for quests. The Nelson Towers Motel & Apartments rooms are excellent, neat, clean, and tidy, and include modern appliances. The bathroom was bright and clean, and the bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed.

We had a good rest at the property; it was not noisy during the busiest Christmas time. The little kitchen had cutlery, plates, cups, glasses, and essential appliances. The bedroom was separate from the living room, with working air conditioning. The shower was a good size. The small balcony for early breakfast was lovely. The property was comfortable for two people. The refreshing pool on the roof with a fantastic ocean view was well maintained and a beautiful spot for sunset. We are very thankful for the cleaners who worked so hard during this time of year. The undercover and locked-up car park in the building was a big plus for us!

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was fabulous! We had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and understanding regarding the effects of the total power outage (36 hours) due to the storms. We appreciated the nice bottle of wine and offer for a free night when we stay for more than two nights next time! The rooftop swimming pool was great too.

I would have liked to have a sheer curtain on the windows in addition to the main heavy curtain as it was all or nothing for privacy with the centre courtyard aspect. Otherwise, great!

Very easy to check in. Instructions provided to us in advance. Accommodation was situated directly above a number of nice cafes, restaurants and clothing stores.

On the morning of the second day, some construction seemed to be happening on the floor above which was noisy. Each morning, birds chirp relatively close to our window which was noisy. Finally, I don't like how the rooftop pool closes at 8pm each day. It should ideally be lit up at night and close later...at 10pm or so.

The room was very comfortable and 5 mins to the main street and to the Marina with restaurants, cafes , supermarket and shops all close by. Nice to walk around the foreshore and close to activities. Room was an apartment with kitchen and laundry. Very well equipped.

There was a need for more hanging space and some drawers in the bedroom. The bedside tables were stools and a very small hanging space. There were a few shelves and we had to move extra blankets and towels so we could put our clothes there, and just mainly lived out of our bag.

The location is fantastic. You exit the building on one side right among restaurants, cafes and shops. On the other side it is a short walk to the marina. We only took the car out once. The superior queen room was a comfortable size for two. A nice big TV in both living and bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped with quality appliances so you can self cater easily, although there are some very good restaurants nearby. We loved the pod coffee machine. (Two Bobs Bakery is nearby and they sell great croissants). The roof top pool was great, with a beautiful view.

It was fairly warm to hot and the air conditioner in the living room really did not cool down the bedroom. We used the fan all night each time. The building is not new and our shower was a bit rusty and leaked a little bit. The bar fridge freezer was iced up.

There was no view except a court yard from our room. This was disappointing. Due to the location, I thought we would have had some view of the bay or even the streets we felt isolated in the rooms. It would have been nice to sit outside and watch the bay and / or the beautiful streets below. When we booked the accommodation, I was under the impression that we would be able to see more than a court yard, that we were unable to access directly from our room, we had to lock up our room and walk along 2 corridors just to go in the court yard. This wasn't worth doing, so we just stayed in our rooms when we wearnt shopping and sightseeing. Overall- beautiful accommodation

Convenient location, walking to the beach, parks, restaurants and Woolworths. Convenient facilities with a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a kettle in the room. The room has a balcony and there's a rooftop pool in the building. Clear check-in and checkout information has been given. Prompt and friendly communication from staff.

I saw two small cockroaches on the wall. It's winter. A pest control is necessary.

Great location. Bed king and extremely comfortable.

No one man's reception. Access is by key pad and that is located at thigh height, black key pad and dark numbers. We had massive trouble getting the lift 1 to work. Number 3 key is over used. Everyone we spoke to all said they had trouble using keypad. Garage remote also not working. Fob did work. Only 1 fob for an apartment that sleeps 4. Missing a bread n butter plate and a teaspoon, to make up a 4 place setting. For the money per night I would expect better.

Fabulous location. Great value for money. Undercover parking. We enjoyed our stay at Nelson Towers Motel very much.

We have been going to Port Stephens for many years but I don't think we will be going back. This has nothing to do with the accommodation, which was fantastic and actually included undercover patking. but more with having to pay $4.50/hour for street parking wherever you go in the area.
