Great location. There was a top view across Port Stephens from the balcony outside the room. The facilities were relatively basic but good. It was a one minute walk to the pure white sands and crystal clear waters of Dutchmans Beach. Superb water in which to cool down.

It had been pointed out that the room was not air conditioned but did have fans which did work reasonably enough. Unfortunately our stay coincided with very warm humid nights for which air conditioning would have provided us with a far more comfortable sleep. Be aware of this if you intend to stay during the hot humid months of the year.

Close to town and water, comfortable bed, tidy.

Bedroom window wouldn't shut properly, toilet ran quietly all the time. Couldn't lock the door screen, all a bit tired. Just fans, no aircon, 50 litre hot water system.

Lovely room, with ocean view. Not modern but cleverly designed for privacy and everything else. Quiet part of town. Staff were so welcoming and flexible to our wishes.definitely recommend.

Everything was fantastic, the location, the view, the shower and general size of the room.

The bed was very uncomfortable and both my partner and I were sore enough to need painkillers in the morning to get us going.

It is in a great spot with beautiful water view's & the bed was really comfortable

We liked the way it was set out with a separate lounge room. Although it was old it was value for money.

Air-conditioner unit in balcony was a bit uncomfortable as it blows hot air directly on to you. Had to switch off to sit on balcony.

Not much space for long legs, when sitting on the toilet and impossible to reach the toilet paper!

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Recently renovated. Great location literally on the beach. No air-conditioning is the only problem.

Awesome location with a nice view of the bay. It’s a stone’s throw to the beautiful Dutchies beach and an easy 15 min stroll into Nelson Bay along a lovely shady path

The fans were good but A/C would have been better. Note the only cooking facility is a microwave

Location was exceptional. Lovely and clean with great amenities.

We hope that air con may be installed in the future but appreciated the fans provided.
