The facilities are great and it was a very peaceful stay. It was bad weather when we visited, so we got to enjoy the two indoor pools and the spa facilities more . The balcony in the room overlooking the pool is equipped with two chairs and we also had a large sofa on the room, so we could enjoy the space even more

We booked a junior suite for 4 people, 2 slept on a comfortable bed ( as you’d expect in a hotel of this type), however the other 2 of us found 2 VERY basic beds with flat pillows with uncomfortable mattresses, (the type you’d expect at a €20 hostel). This was disappointing since not all of us got good value for money even though we did book and pay full price for 4, definitely do not recommend booking a room for more than 2 people

Breakfast: Excellent. I love the Asian food served. We didn't use the pool as we were short of time, but I will surely use the indoor pool on our next visit. The room had plenty of space and included a sofa. All the amenities were available, including slippers.

No criticism whatsoever. Everything turned out fine. We found a dish of fruit on our return to the room, which was a bonus. All staff members greeted us and were very courteous. All the members of the reception staff are excellent. Reservations team is fantastic.

Refurbishment of rooms, staff helpfulness, well kept surrounding environment (pools and gardens), pet friendliness.

Easy to get lost in corridors to go from A to B - more directions placards would be helpful, including in all lifts

The staff at the reception is very friendly. Breakfast is very good. Nice garden and good restaurants.

I booked a room with garden view and asked confirmation at the reception. They confirmed this. But once checked in, it was a room with a frontal pool view! The room was spacious but the furniture was a bit dark and outdated. Not what you expect from this kind of hotel. The second night there was a lot of noise coming out of the next room. So not very well sound proofed rooms!

I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz on Gozo Island with friends and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with beautifully landscaped grounds and excellent amenities, including multiple pools and a fitness center. The spa is exceptional, offering a variety of treatments and facilities like indoor/outdoor pools, a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and an oriental hammam which was a truly relaxing experience. The hotel's scenic location offers stunning views of the countryside and the Mediterranean, providing easy access to top attractions like the Azure Window and Dwejra Bay. The tranquil environment is perfect for relaxation. The service was exemplary, with friendly and professional staff ensuring a memorable stay. When we asked the receptionist about good coffee in the area, they recommended Angele Patisserie, which is a short walk away. It was superb, with delicious coffee and yummy desserts. We all highly recommend Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz for its luxury, relaxation, and outstanding hospitality.

The location and facilities of the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz are undoubtedly one of the best on the island. Having said this though, the hotel should ensure that maintenance works are kept up all throughout the hotel even in the rooms. The furniture in the rooms could use some polish and in some instances they could even be changed and modernised further.

The room service was not up to standard as per usual practice. Not all the bins were emptied and the towels were not replaced even though these were kept on the floor for replacement. Also, the underground garage were we had our cars parked were quite filthy.

Peaceful hotel with amazing food choices and quality service (they greet you by name everywhere!)- it’s pretty perfect I’d say!! The filtered water tap in the room was fabulous - new waitress from Switzerland was delightful too, considering it was her second week! Oh the new fancy desserts station is incredible! People were coming down from rooms at 10pm to share a cake with 2 spoons! Cute. It’s also nearby some amazing walking routes

It’s showing its age and needs renovation in the rooms - not just new fancy lights in the reception areas . This was also too steep at €250/night when better hotels in Malta are half that price - so the past yearly inflation has put the prices up a Lot for no obvious reasons (maybe pay for the ludicrous new chandelier in the lobby!)

The hotel was beautiful. The pool area was well designed and there was an excellent indoor area and Hamman pool which was appealing as it was cooler in October. The room was lovely, large and had lots of available storage space. Staff were friendly and there was a range of places to eat and some beautiful cakes in the patisserie.

We would advise against taking the half board option. It was confusing and most staff seemed unaware what was part of the half board package so that we received incorrect bills. In addition it made very little sense as we were told we could have a starter, main and dessert but it wasn’t always clear what was a starter or a main. This sometimes led to a lot of confusion and let us feeling that we had been better off not having this option. Although the food was nice, a lot of it was overpriced - particularly at the pool bar. Only two of the evening restaurants were open too and the menus were the same each night. Given the hotel is quite in an isolated area, it would be better to switch menus regularly as if you were staying for a week you would become bored of the food on offer.

The professional service from staff, Angelica at reception welcomed us with a smile and escorted us to the room and made sure everythings works. Comfortable room, we were even upgraded to the recent refurbished rooms which made our stay even more exceptional. Indoor pool was nice and quiet in the evening which helped us to relax and enjoy the facilities. Breakfast was also good and we loved the shot of the day juice given by the host :)

In-room dining menu is limited, we believe it should have a good variety.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly, particularly Natalie at the pool bar and the servers at Il Baldakkin restaurant. We also had a great experience with the spa and in-room dining. The room was spacious with two large mirrors, a very comfortable bed, and an amazing view. The pools are large, with plenty of space to sunbathe.

The only downside was our experience at L-Istorja. I have a food intolerance, and while I appreciated that the menu clearly listed ingredients, I was disappointed when the maître d’ informed me that a dish marked as lactose-free actually contained lactose because "he knew his chefs" and there was definitely butter in it. For a fine dining experience, I would expect the menu information and kitchen practices to align. Although he offered to have the dish prepared without dairy, which ultimately turned out fine, I was hoping to rely on the menu without needing to double-check, as it could be a serious health risk.
