From the moment we arrived, despite the torrential rain, the staff's warmth and attentiveness were evident. Our bags were swiftly taken care of as we sought refuge in the welcoming reception area, where we were greeted with a refreshing fruit juice and a smooth check-in process. The room itself was a haven of tranquility, clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in calming light colors. The quiet and efficient air conditioning, coupled with a ceiling fan, ensured a comfortable temperature, while the mosquito net provided peace of mind. Thoughtful touches, such as complimentary toiletries and bottled water, which were replenished daily, added to the overall positive experience. The provision of pool towels was also a much appreciated convenience. The shower offered consistently hot water and a well-designed area that prevented water from splashing onto the bathroom floor. The bed and pillows were firm yet comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The crystal-clear swimming pool and its meticulously maintained surroundings were a highlight. The staff's dedication to keeping the area pristine, including daily raking of the sandy areas, was truly commendable. Breakfast was a delightful affair, offering what was arguably the closest rendition of a full English breakfast we encountered in Zanzibar. The restaurant also served good food, although our chicken masala was unfortunately overly salty. Overall, this hotel offered a comfortable and enjoyable stay, a stark contrast to the dilapidated surroundings of Paje. The friendly and attentive staff, coupled with the well-maintained facilities and thoughtful amenities, made it a highly recommended choice. The chicken masala was overly salty

I recently stayed at Villa Huruma, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. One of the highlights of my stay was the food at the restaurant. The menu had a great variety of dishes, all beautifully presented and full of flavor. The breakfast was fresh and diverse, with options for all dietary preferences. Dinner was equally impressive, with delicious local and international cuisine. The hotel’s location was perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The pool and other amenities were well-kept, making it a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Overall, I highly recommend Villa Huruma for anyone looking for great hospitality, delicious food, and a memorable experience. I will definitely be returning in the future!

We felt very good while we stayed at Villa Huruma, the staff were amazing (so nice and kind) - they were all the time attentive at our needs and the food at the restaurant hotel was nice too! For cleanness and facilities we would also give a 10/10!! Last but not the least, the hotel is very well located (very close to the beach and the local shops too), so all in all, we can only say that we loved the place!! We recommend it to everyone who wants to have a relaxing time in Zanzibar! P.s. The private pool is a definite extra bonus!!

In terms of menu variety, it would have been a plus to have all the dishes available to choose from, but taking into account that it's a small villa which cannot accommodate too many people at the same time, it's understandable that logistically speaking, would be a bit difficult to have everything on the menu available.

- It was very quiet given the location of the villa - The rooms are a good size. A comfy bed and plenty of plug sockets - The pool is lovely and we spent a lot of our time by the pool. It’s taken care of very well and extremely clean - The breakfast was good - Great location. A 2 minute walk to the beach where there are plenty of restaurants & cafes

Nothing that we didn’t like but a couple of things to maybe consider… - Add a variety of juices on breakfast menu - The pillows weren’t amazing

My stay in Paje was perfect! The villa was beautiful, clean, and 1 step by the beach. The pool was a great touch, and the peaceful surroundings made it a true escape. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we were comfortable. They even arranged fun activities like snorkeling and a trip to Stone Town. The food was fresh and delicious, with lots of local flavors. We felt so well taken care of throughout our stay. I highly recommend Villa Huruma for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway in Zanzibar.

Great Stay with Excellent Food and Service! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—close to major attractions and easy to access. The food was excellent, with a great variety of dishes, especially the breakfast, which was fresh and well-prepared. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to work and stay connected. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

From start to finish our stay here was exceptional. Lucy, Grace and the team were friendly, welcoming and efficient and went out of their way to make us feel safe and our stay perfect. The rooms and facilities were beautiful and kept to a fantastic standard, particularly the pool. The food was very good, with a varied breakfast menu and brilliant service. Check in and out was smooth and all queries were answered professionally and quickly, with easy airport transfers. The location is great and super close to the beach and nearby beach bars/ restaurants. We recommend Villa Huruma and will definitely be back!

Very nice room with big terrace. 2 mins by foot to the beach. The pool and area around the pool are very nice. Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning.

I was not informed in advance that I will be billed for one night stay before I come to the accomodation. It was not a problem, because the personnel were very responsive via messages and it was clarified to me that this amount will be deducted from the final invoice that was paid after the arrival to accomodation. Everything was fine then.

Villa Huruma, was a beautiful and peaceful villa to stay at. Felt very much like home as it’s not too big, so even with other guests the stay was very personal. Lucy was a friendly and polite host and her breakfasts were very yummy. The place was very clean in general and was cleaned on a daily basis (as was the pool). Beach towels for the day beds were provided which was lovely of them. And the location is pretty great, minutes from the beach, not far from the city centres and also has a local gym!
