I loved the room. It was big and beautiful and the view was great! It was near Shibati so there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room had a big room and kitchen and washing machine. Everything I need for my stay is available.

It is a bit far from train stations which is my preferred transport but there is a bus stop nearby. Other than that, this place is fantastic!

The reception was always well manned - staff, porter, security etc.

The breakfast experience was not the best. Breakfast option is basic. However, the most frustrating is the lack of space at the breakfast area. Staff do work hard to turn tables quickly. Guest can be left standing around waiting for seats. Feels rush having breakfast. I would strongly suggest they do away with the sofa + coffee tables along the windows and replace them with proper tables and chairs. Those sofas take up space and are not practical to use for meals. They can certainly fit in more proper dining tables + chairs there.

As we are a family of 6 pax, we booked a 3 bedroom apartment. We were expecting only the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom but to our surprise, the apartment has 2 bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom. We were given an apartment at the 28th floor and the view from the apartment is stunning! The bedroom is big and the bed is comfortable. Each bedroom has its own view. The location of the apartment is within walking distance to the Bai Xiang Ju area, which has many restaurants and shops. The front desk staff is very helpful when I ask if they can arrange for some decorations for my brother in law's surprise birthday celebration. Our apartment was decorated with balloons, a 3-tier birthday cake made of towels and also a lighted Happy Birthday signage. As we are not Chinese speakers, we also asked the front desk staff to assist us to order a birthday cake from a local Chinese app and arranged for the cake to be brought up to the apartment when we went out.

The corridor leading to the apartment has a musty smell and the air conditioner in this area is quite warm. The air conditioner in the bedroom is not consistent; sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold. The kitchen counter top in the apartment has many stains. There is only 1 hairdryer in the entire apartment although it has 3 bathrooms. It will be good if there are some hangers provided in the laundry room. Breakfast area is quite small. Not many big table for a group of 6 pax. There were two days when we were split to 2 groups; one group in the main dining area and the other group in a smaller private room, which was quite warm and uncomfortable.

Great hotel, very good location, the apartment we got was very spacious and equipped with all the amentities. It was on the 16th floor so it was quiet and the view was spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel. The aircon was good (it's important if you go there in summer), washer/drier was a god sent cos walking around in the sun makes you sweat profusely so the possibility to get your clothes washed and dried, perfect. There are some small shops in the vicinity of the hotel to get water and snacks. Basically very good option when visiting Chongqing.

The breakfasts were nice. A variety of foods. My travel partner on the other hand was not as happy with the lack of diversity of foods. Loved the people who cleaned our room as they noticed when we needed something in the room and supplied without us even asking! For instance, we had a washing machine in the room and used it. They saw we didn't have a place to hang the clothes to dry and brought the clothes rack and put all our wet clothes on. They left our personal things how they were and cleaned where needed.

The smell in the bathroom due to piping I assume.

Staff are polite, room is spacious and rates are reasonable, property location is good - away from CBD crowd yet still sufficiently central, room cleaning service is good - generous in replenishing bottled water daily & toiletries, we also had an extra quilt and a clothe rack, household appliances in good working condition - tv, washer/dryer, microwave oven, fridge, etc. We are very happy with the stay and will likely use same property for future holidays if available.

Two small encounters: 1) The door card reader that controls the room electricity & lighting malfunctioned on one day during our stay - there was no light & no electricity for a while. We had to get the technician to change the reader 2) The property has a lounge on the third floor for tenants to use during their stay or in between their checkout & flight time. The swimming pool and gymn are on the same floor. When we went to the lounge at about 10pm on the day we checked out (as our flight was 2am), the whole floor was pitch dark and no staff was manning the facility. These facilities should be kept open for use 24 hours.

Very good solid and standard hotel. Breakfast was excellent, both Chinese and English varieties. One of the staff members could speak real English and that was a plus when he was around. The hotel is very beautiful and at night, you can see a yellow coloured lighted up tower across the river from the hotel. You need didi to move around, as the topography of Chongqing will make you work-out heavily. The location is alright, if you know your way around Chongqing, if not, it gets complicated by trekking, and very easy using Didi rides. They have a washing machine in the room, which can dry your clothes as well using the dry only function and you can also iron your clothes using the iron and ironing board provided. The cleaners and staffs overall were excellent.

One thing that bites all hotels in the world, is the ability for them to always make sure that molds in the bathrooms are being taken care off. The white silicon edges of the sink and showers must always be scrubbed, to prevent them from turning black. That is all I have to say, and this is synonymous to every hotel I have stayed in, around the world.

Lots of pros to talk about it. - Staff // customer service were excellent. Every staffer we spoke to was super friendly and helpful. - Great facilities. Pool and Gym were well kept and easy to access. - Breakfast was really good. Good buffet selection and fresh options. - Great views of the Yangtze River - Rooms are massive. Like next level big. It was just me and my girlfriend and there was more space than we knew what to do with.

- Location overall wasn't as good as it looks on the map. You can walk to the attractions if you want but be prepared for a lot of stairs and about a half hour walk. - Walls in the hotel are paper thin. First night there our neighbours spent around 20 minutes playing around with the various light switches and we could literally hear every switch click. It was annoying to the point that we had trouble sleeping.

-the room is spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet, and has everything we need. - bed/mattress is firm, comfortable, and provides great support for the neck and back - the river view is great - the staff is very friendly and helpful - the buffet breakfast is very delicious - the warm lighting in the the room makes you feel very cozy and relaxing - timber floor instead of carpet throughout the space: it's the best flooring and I really love it. - it's truly interesting to see the cute robot working in the building My family really enjoyed staying here and will come back again in the future.

The serviced apartment was extremely spacious and had everything I needed. The staff were all extremely friendly, I requested a few extra amenities on a few occasions and even the housekeeping staff were extremely friendly. I was worried that the accommodation would be too far from metro but actually it was quite easily accessible with a short 10-15min walk and very close to Shibati as well.

Everything was great and if there was something I felt could be improved perhaps the dining/breakfast area could be bigger. The space was already not that big but when it gets busy in the morning, you end up having to share tables with others, it's fine if you get there early though. Just nick picking, otherwise i would definitely stay at this property again next time.
