The villa was spot on with a fabulous bathroom. The pool and surrounding area felt luxurious and the entire hotel was really peaceful and quiet. The staff were really attentive and helpful.

The beach! It was full of debris from the sea, of course not the hotels responsibility, but it was impossible to enjoy. Its a shame that the hotels in the vicinity don't work together to take improve this blot on an otherwise beautiful location.

We stayed in a garden hut which was more than comfortable. It has been decorated to the highest standard. The bed is huge and comfortable and the bathroom is like something out of a magazine. The food is also exceptional, local dishes as well as some western ones on offer, all fresh and different everyday. The beach is beautiful and location wonderful to take trips around the country. we had a wonderful tour of the elephant orphanage as well as Ayurvedic gardens and tea plantation. But what truly stands out is the service, The staff couldn’t be more friendly and attentive. Alston and his team in the restaurant are wonderful. They are so welcoming and keen to help. Alston himself definitely deserves a special mention..always there and ready to make your stay perfect. Housekeeping and even the singing guard on the gate are just fantastic. Front of house too do all they can to make you comfortable. saying that, they are brilliant at giving you space and it being a peaceful and relaxing holiday. A truly fantastic place that my husband and I will definitely be returning to.

the coffee in the bedrooms wasn’t great. given the standard at the hotel the sachets of coffee was a let down.

The property was very beautiful and we could just walk up to the beach anytime. The reception was super friendly and handled everything with efficiency. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The interior was very pretty. The pool was lovely. We had the dinner buffet. The restaurent staff was very welcoming. Two of my friends had dinner from the Al-carte menu and they were given a complimentary dessert because the rest of us were having buffet. The waiters were very attentive and provided us everything we required. Overall, we had a lovely stay because the staff was very attentive and acted swiftly whenever we needed something.

Because of a A/C issue in the room allocated for us it took some time for them to arrrange a new room for us. Therefore it took us sometime to get checked into the room. But they gave us a upgraded room and a late checkout as a compensation. So it was all good! :)

Friendly staff, especially at the reception and in the restaurant. The selection of food on offer at the buffet was excellent.

Very well maintained property and hotel. The staff is always ready to help with a smile on their faces. When I check-in I was offered an upgrade to one of their best villas with a pool. Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, right next to the beach with easy access, and the pool area—both indoor and outdoor—was great for relaxing. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, and the food was delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent hospitality. Highly recommend.

We were warmly greeted by the staff and given an exceptional room. The hotel grounds were spotless as was the room. The pool was a great relief from the scorching sun. Everything and everyone connected to the hotel went above and beyond expectations.

Nothing not to like

Lovely quiet location, with a great beach for walking and watching the sunset. The villas are very comfy with bathrooms that give an outdoor experience. We only had breakfast, which was very tasty with a good spread of local and western dishes. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and genuinely care about the guests.

Food was great, location was right on the beach and could walk out the gate onto the sand, pool was lovely. Outdoor shower in the suite rooms was beautiful.

WiFi was free but the codes provided only allowed for very limited connection. Aircon was quite loud while in use. There was not much around outside of the resort, definitely not within walking distance.

Clean and comfortable ocean view villa. The staff is always open for suggestions, they will go above and beyond for your requests. Talk to them about your experience and expectations, this is important given that they are freshly starting up the business under the Amaya concept. Pool is nicely warm! Garden people make sure the full garden is clean daily! Lobster and beef (upon reservation) are definitely recommended!

Ocean is very rough, you can't swim (october 2022), cocktails could use some improvement but are not expensive either. Staff not 100% trained to serve international people. I felt regularly neglected as a Western woman, communication still focused a lot on males and not equally on females. They should learn from this, but we understand that this takes time and extra training
