quiet location, off the main street, opposite beautiful rice fields, transport to road via free buggy, free shuttle to Ubud city and back, private heated pool in beautiful garden, outdoor dining/lounge, lovely canopy bed, huge bathroom with walk in shower, large tub and indoor garden, open roof. Amenities provided. Amazing breakfasts brought to your room. Dinner available in restaurant or room service. Spa offering massages/facials etc (or they come to your room). Staff were all so lovely. Highly recommend this place ! Photos don't do it justice! Great communication from staff via WhatsApp. Always available to pick you up in the buggy by road, lent us weighing scales and a vacuum cleaner to vacuum pack our luggage for trip home. Made you feel so welcome and special. Staff suggested a walk to the Monkey Forest. Amazing 45 min walk through rice fields and a little village, on to Ubud centre, then another 15 min walk to the Monkey Forest. I loved the seclusion, felt like "old Bali". Only hear the sounds of nature. Stayed in Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Nusa Penida and Denpasar this trip, and this place (and Ubud) was our favourite place of all. Glad we stayed 4 nights, just wish it was longer! Would definitely come back here!

Only negative was the shower isn't recessed and so water goes all over the bathroom floor outside the shower when you have a shower. If they could recess the shower a little, or seal the shower edge in some way, it would be less messy and slippery when the shower is used.

The property was clean and well maintained. Nice quiet area away from the hustle & bustle of Ubud. Daily shuttle services into Ubud were a good bonus.

Property is located in a quiet part of Ubud. Literally next to rice fields. Access only through scooters or golf carts. Very quiet and peaceful. Apartments have their own pools, sun deck with loungers, roofed veranda and open ceiling bathrooms. Breakfasts are served individually in apartments. Plenty of green areas around. Staff is super friendly and helpful. These villas are super comfortable and ideal for couples. There’s also loads to see around, starting from walks through the rice fields, monkey forests, quad bikes and rafting experience and many waterfalls.

The room, the pool, the staff and location were everything we had hoped for. From the time we arrived until we left we always felt looked after - arranging pickups, scooter hire, drivers - all requests were responded to promptly and with professionalism. All the staff are very friendly and it’s a genuine delight to be in their care. The in-house food was very good and also very reasonably priced. The accommodation was excellent and better than we expected. The private heated pool was fabulous. The location was great being close to the rice fields and its associated walkways and irrigation canals. It is off the main roads, and very quiet. Several close-by and walkable options for very good food to give good alternatives/variation to the house menu & for a change of view. We would definitely highly recommend Santun Villas.

From start to finish, I enjoyed every bit of my stay. The staff were a standout — not just the facilities. They were prompt, polite, and communicated really well, both in person and via WhatsApp. Breakfast was delicious with freshly squeezed juices and quality food. The villa is just 5 minutes from Ubud center, so it’s super convenient. One thing that truly stood out — and I haven’t seen elsewhere — was the 20L Aqua safe drinking water provided in the villa, which is a big plus considering water concerns in Bali. Overall, I loved Bali not just for the landscapes, but for the genuine respect and politeness of the people, and Villa Santun reflected that beautifully

Honestly, I just wish I had booked for longer! I only stayed 2 nights and ended up spending most of my time exploring Ubud, so didn’t get to enjoy the villa as much. Tip: Book at least 3 nights or more to really soak it in. Everything is close by, and if any issue comes up, the Villa Santun team handles it with care. Also — don’t miss the tea made by the team at the villa. It’s the best!

We were met with a golf cart that took us down the lane to our villa. The place was HUGE! We had the 3 bedroom villa which consisted of 3 hotel sized separate rooms with King beds and their own beautiful bathroom. The pool and grounds were so big that we kept expecting other people to be using them but it was just for us! Was great for our family but might not suit smaller children. They have a kitchen on site - no restaurant and we ate breakfast and 1 dinner and lunch in the time we were there which was very handy. The food was pretty reasonable and quite tasty. They come and set the table for you and then clean up after you, we felt like royalty, maybe even a little too formal for us. The staff were quick to reply to anything asked via whatsapp. Location is prob a 6 minute drive to town.

The location was a little tricky o find as the carpark is separate to the villas. The tiles in the main living area get very slippery with rain. I slipped on them but the staff were very quick to put some towels down.

Wonderful stay in a paradise like setting. We had a gorgeous villa with a private wading pool and were upgraded to a room overlooking the jungle. Breakfast was fantastic and everyone working in the hotel were always kind and helpful. This property is located out in the rice fields, away from the crowds in Ubud city. It is walking distance from several great restaurants and it's a perfect location for hiking in the hills and rice fields surrounding Ubud. This is our third stay, and we love it there.

Really nothing to report. It's as good as it gets.

First and foremost, the staff, Yoko, Gede and Gita were exceptional hosts. Extremely helpful and accommodating, they bend over backwards to assist as much as they could with our requests and questions. The location of the property is perfect, close enough to the buzzing Ubud center but also far enough to enjoy quiet and peace in the middle of rice fields. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.

The rooms are a bit dated, but spacious and confortable nevertheless. Did not bothered us much specially because everything else was excellent.

This is a fantastic villa with comfy beds. It was expensive compared to other places we stayed but worth it. The pool is heated and they offer floating breakfast in your villa pool for an extra 150k which was fabulous. It is situated away from the main street in the paddy fields and a golf buggy will pick you up from the main road, plus drop you off whenever you need to go get a taxi from the main road. I booked a massage which was amazing and she came to my room. This was a great location,it took about 15 mins to get into central Ubud.

There is a shuttle bus that can be used to go into Ubud but the times didn't work for us which was a shame. I think it would be good to offer this service more frequently. No restaurant area but they do room service.

I give a 10/10 to this property, it was really amazing 1. The Villa: we loved the design. Spacious room with AC, huge beautiful bathroom and very nice terrace with a nice swiming pool. Also very important to highlight you will have total privacy. 2. The Bed: one of the most amazing beds I've slept on. The linen where super soft and the bed was super commfortable. Had an amazing sleep 3. Staff: they were lovely and took very good care of us. Easy communication with them via whatsapp. One of the days one of our neighbors put very loud music and started yelling at 7:00 AM. I whatsapped them and in 2 minutes the noise was gone. 4. Mosquitoes: despite being in the middle of nature and surouneded by rice fields and vegetation you will barely feel the insects. Both the bathroom and terrace which are outdoors have an anti-mosquitoes system which is very effective and we didnt get bitten by any insect.

I would like to suggest a few improvements to the team: 1. TV in the room: although most people who are in Ubud are there to disconnect, if you put a TV in the bedroom it should be a bigger smart TV 2. Breakfast: too much food served. I would recommend asking guests how much food do they want and the amount they want 3. Pick up and connection: please make sure the person who picks you up in the golf kart has internet connection on his mobile phone for easier communicationv
