The accommodation exceeded my expectations. The room was large and clean. Since it was warm, it was possible to open the entire window (I read in the reviews that the window cannot be opened completely), so there was fresh air all night. There was also a fan in the room to freshen the air in the room, which was good. I was most pleased with the refrigerator in the room, it was quite hot days, so I used it. There was a large wardrobe, a table and 2 chairs in the room. The bed has a quality mattress. The shared showers and toilets were clean. If each guest cleans up after themselves, the shared areas will remain clean. Check in and check out was automatic, no need for staff or reception, I received all instructions on my mobile.

Quiet and beautiful neighborhood, two public transport stops from ZOB Munich. There's a supermarket and a bar nearby. The room was beautifully decorated, with all the necessary amenities (bed, TV, mini-fridge, plate, cutlery, glass, cup, table and chairs, towel, closet, and plenty of electrical outlets). The best thing of all is that the room is very safe to leave things because the doors have a locking system. The kitchen had everything you needed, including a bookshelf, and was very beautiful with plants and lots of natural light.

The only thing that could be improved is that the mattress and bed aren't very comfortable. I have found the mattress cover, but there were no sheets. The walls are also very thin, and some noises from other rooms can be heard, but nothing serious.

I loved that you had your own fridge in your room, the provided towels, the bed was comfortable.

The shower situation isn't great. It's one big shower room with 4 showers (one room for women, one for men) and the showers are only closed by a curtain. It's not really private. Only two toilets for like 10 rooms. The check in situation was really stressful for me: I only got the instructions less than an hour before check in. Considering the other reviews where people said they couldn't get in, that stressed me out. The kitchen did not have a microwave.

i usually book this hotel when there are concerts in the nearby "Backstage" venue, and for that you cannot get a better place to stay at. It's around 500 meters from the venue by foot, less than an hour from München Hbf by foot and there are supermarkets nearby as well (Aldi Süd, Rewe, Edeka Hammerer, dm, and maybe even more). The nearby "Kastaniengarten" restaurant is also a great place to eat, and gives good insight in traditional Bavarian food, as well as being well worth your money.

For a hotel it's pretty barebones, and the toilet/shower are shared (not in your hotel room). Considering that I paid less than 50€ per night, this is not a complaint, only a warning to other people who might book this expecting more than what it offers. The fact that toilet/shower facilities weren't in the hotel room was clearly advertised, and I expected it.

My experience was fine. This is a clean, well run place good for 1 or 2 money conscious adults. The shared bathroom and kitchen worked out OK. Staff responded to my message about getting a new towel. I got a new towel. The place is close to the food stores Hit, and Rewe, and close to tram stops and the hieshgarten S-bahn stop. I was able to use the stove in the shared kitchen and minimize my need to buy restaurant food. The room was well equipped with a small refrigerator, closet, and dished and utensils.

If you don't want shared shower and toilets, and you like paying a lot for restaurant food, pay more for a fancy hotel. If you want a kitchen and a private room in a hostel, stay here.

Light and spacious room. Calm and safe neighborhood just a short walk from the tram and bus station that takes us to town in 20 minutes. The female bathroom has 4 shower spaces and was very clean. The kitchen has all utensils and even different spices for cooking and teabags for choice. We were happy to be able to use the washing machine too. There was clear information of house rules and guests respect them, so the place is very nice for us as a family to stay.

There was only 1 dedicated female toilet and another one in the washing room. It could be a bit of a wait if the bookings are full.

The hostel and rooms were according to our expectations. The room for 3 people was spacious and clean with a small fridge, dishes, cups and cutlery. It was a bit noisy since the window was facing the street, therefore we had to keep it closed. Shared bathroom and showers are separate for men and women. They were clean and with the hair dryers. Shared kitchen had everything needed for cooking and enough tables to sit. We had self check-in for which we were provided with very clear instructions how to get into our room. There's free parking space in the yard for the hostel guests with enough parking lots to leave a car.

At least one microwave oven would be helpful at the kitchen. If the room is facing the street, it's rather noisy with open windows

Pros: clean, accurate, well explained check in and check out. Of course it was also pleasant that they put candy in my room as a sign of "welcoming". You can also find mini magazines about touristic places in Munic next to registration desk. Quite big and well equipped kitchen, where you can cook or do whatever you want. Overall, I am very much satisfied.

Unfortunately my room was literally next to showering room. The point is - the door is closing very loudly and if the person not closing it accurately, it makes very big noise. I came with touristic purposes, so i was spending there only my night, so i was not there during day time. So this noise is quite irritating, especcially during night time when you want to sleep.

Good for the price, clean. Close to S-Bahn Hirschgarten and tram and bus stops. There is a Edeka near (supermarket) The room was spacey (I got one of the big ones), the bed was confortable and I got clean sheets and a towel. The room had a small fridge, which was convenient. The shared bathroom and toilet were always empty and clean.

There was no microwave in the kitchen although there were three sets of stove and oven.
