The hostel is located in a residential area, full of life and plenty of local shops/restaurants in a short walking distance, so in a way, it feels like you are a local by staying there! It is just 5min walk from a tube station and in a range of 10min walk there are several additional tram/train/bus options accessible. From the hostel to the city "centre" you wont take more than 20min. There is a small garden next to it, the location is very quiet and relaxed. The hostel is still under construction, however nearly finished. You might wonder if you are on the right place when you arriving! Everything is brand new, the common reception area is lovely. There is a common area with tables were the breakfast is served in the morning. The breakfast was included on the fare paid and it was quite good for a hostel breakfast with quite diverse options. The female dorm was modern, large windows and plenty of light, facing the back of the building, so very quite. Well structured, with plenty storage area. There were bunk beds and single beds next to the window are. Even though there were lots of beds (maybe 12 beds), the room was like 50% occupied so it didnt feel like busy. I am not sure how it will feel during high season. The room was ensuite, with one toilet bathroom and a shower bathroom. On the corridor outside, there were shared toilets you were able to also use if needed. The bed was spacious, the mattress was okay but not the best. They have storage and happy to allow you to leave your lugagge there before checkin or after checkout. This was very helpful to me.

Overall I had a good experience, however as the hostel is new, I believe feedback might be important at this stage, so a few little things: - it would be great if you are a bit more flexible to allow early checkins if the room/bed is already available, - for the fare paid, it would be convenient if we dont have to make our bed when we arrive (this is terrible when checkin late in a dorm) - the phone stated on the booking wasn't working, there were no alternative contacts - the plug on my bed was not working and I have to charge my phone on the bathroom, I believe not all beds had their own plug - checkin and checkout were very straightforward lacking a bit of "customer experience" extra service... (even though reception was not busy)

The breakfast was awesome, just like in a three star hotel. Food are bio, healthy and tasty. The whole place is really clean and comfortable. I travelled for a workshop and that I stayed at the lobby to prepare my presentation during the night. It was really quiet and comfortable. Food and drinks were also available at the vending machine as well as at the reception. The location was awesome too - just a few metro stops from Hauptbahnhof. There were plenty of good restaurants around.

When I booked it was not specified how many beds were there in the rooms. During the first night it was really full. All the 8 beds were occupied. I wouldn't have booked if I knew that it were a 8-bed doom. However, it turned out that the place was really clean and everyone were just so respectful and friendly that it wasn't an issue to share with 7 others at all. The experience was very positive.

Clean rooms & bath room with view on the trees in the park. Coin operated lockers for cloths.Comfy beds with big pillows. Super breakfast included. Really friendly and helpful staff. There are luggage rooms in the seller for early arrivals or later departures Extra shower rooms in the cellar if the queue in the room gets too long

Suggestion: -There was not enough room for wet shoes outside or inside the room so the floor got really dirty and there should be more hooks for wet towels

I had a generally pleasant stay at Jugendherberge in Munich. The hostel was very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The staff at check-in were extremely friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming first impression. However, there were a few downsides worth mentioning. The location is quite far from the city center, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. Also, in the shared dormitory (with around 12–14 beds), there was only one bathroom and one shower, which can be a challenge during busy hours. Another negative point was the staff in the evening—unlike the friendly check-in experience, the person we encountered later was quite rude and unprofessional, which was disappointing. Overall, if you're looking for a clean place with a friendly daytime staff and don't mind being a bit out of the way or sharing limited facilities, this hostel could still be a good option.

The hostel was amazing for its cost! Guests are mostly German. Cleaning was every day. Breakfast was always the same and always perfect. Everything is clean and convenient. Wi-Fi was fast. Big thank you to the receptionist Luca, what a sweetheart. Public transport is close by, very calm neighbourhood. And it felt like a family hostel as well, so the atmosphere is very chill and respectful. Everything was like it was on the pictures. I loved to have a women only room, it’s a rare thing for Munich. You made my stay in Munich so perfect, thank you ❤️

There was nothing that I disliked really.

I could give it 11 if possible. Everything was really clean, modern, youth-friendly and on point, the room was very comfortable with toilet inside while the breakfast was really diverse and with extended hours. The lockers were really spacious a d after the checkout the staff allowed me to store my luggage for free not to mention they even let me stay in during the night until having my transport. They were nice to say the very least. The area is really calm at night abd has a nice cafe - Suuapinga - and an Edeka nearby. Both Subway and tram really close. And it was the cheapest thing in Munich like considerably affordable in comparison to all the other properties.

It was just what it was described, perfect for groups as you can stay all in the same room. The room have all the amenities in a very new and good state. The beds are a bit thin but they do work. The breakfast is varied and the fruits are quite fresh. Overall is a good choice!

As we arrived in summer, it was quite hot mostly in the hallways and the elevator since the is no AC, nevertheless the room chills out in the afternoon and night

The continental breakfast is fine. If you're vegan, you'll be able to eat only some veggies and some fruits.

The only issue is the waiting time for the elevator, Somehow the company that provided it didn't apply separate buttons for up and down. So the lift will stop every time if someone is calling it, even though if they are going to the different direction. The best option is using the stairs, which is fine if you're staying on the 1st, 2nd floor.
