The hotel was a lovely traditional style hotel.. Staff were friendly and attentive, they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a feast with something for everyone. The garden was welcoming and relaxing. Our room was small but had everything we needed and we chose a budget room. The price was an absolute bargain. The location was perfect, quite a walk into the centre but just 2 ubahn stops. We would highly recommend and hope to return. Thanks .

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Everyone spoke English well. The room was very clean and the breakfast was outstanding. We looked forward to it both mornings! There is a quaint little garden in the front where you can take breakfast or have a drink or just sit with a book. The restaurant was close to some nice quiet neighborhoods with food restaurants. Also close to the main train station.

There was no AC (we forgot to check before booking) and it was warm by American standards. We couldn’t sleep with the windows open because of the road noise. So we didn’t sleep well. Rooms are small and spartan but we didn’t need much.

Very friendly host and staff. Nice location relatively close to Nymphenburg Palace, Olimpiapark, Theresienwiese, and the city centre with good options to use different types of public transport. Great small front yard with a lot of greenery where you can have breakfast/coffee. They offer an unlimited amount of free mineral water through the whole stay and in the afternoon free coffee with cake which was a very nice surprise. The room and bathroom were quite small but comfortable, the terrace was almost non-existent too. The breakfast was diverse and very delicious.

This hotel offers good value for the price. The room is comfortable although on the small side. Super comfortable bed, good size TV with programs in many languages. The room is quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Free bottled water all day, free coffee and cake in the afternoon. Staff is super-friendly and helpful.

It's a little walk from the nearest metro stop(about 400 meters). But it didn't bother me, because I had a lot of time. And the neighborhood is safe at night.

The staff was super friendly, and the 24/7 front desk was nice just in case there were delays (which there were). I loved the breakfast, which had lots of options and lots of seating. The room was a great value and the free chilled still -or-sparkling water available 24/7 from reception was great too. Elevator made getting to my room super easy (especially after Oktoberfest festivities).

This is an average hotel in a good neighborhood with several restaurants, bakeries, and bars nearby. The facilities were in good shape and fairly clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel provides free bottles of water. The breakfast was fantastic with a large variety of international food options.

There was a cockroach in the room. Not a big problem, but definitely an unexpected visitor...

A cozy beautiful building surrounded in greenery, both the outside and inside are old-fashioned and charming, making you feel special from the very beginning. The receptionist is friendly and polite, explaining everything in detail and answering all the questions. The entire lobby and staircases are covered with vintage posters (the rooms have them as well), so the experience felt a little bit like visiting a museum. As we stayed for one night only, we were lucky enough to get a 2-room suite under the roof. The bedroom was cozy, with a large wardrobe and a huge comfortable bed, the common area was spacious with a TV, a big sofa and a table for working. The bathroom was clean and fully-equipped with everything needed. The included breakfast was simple and tasty, with a large variety of jams, cereals, pastries and vegetables. Freshly brewed coffee and tea were offered. The dining area was filled with memorabilia from famous former visitors. To sum up, an amazing unique place with a history perfect to make the visit to Munich truly memorable.

The only drawback was a weak Wi-Fi signal on the 6th floor - it seems that the walls were too thick or the router was located somewhere near the reception.

I liked the terrace best. The breakfast was stellar! Unfortunately I did not take the time to study all the event billboards exposed on all walls, but they were very interesting.

It was pricey during the May24 weekend with the Metallica concerts, but I was very happy I still found a hotel, even if I booked it at the end of July23. The street is a busy one and the windows do not cancel the noise as I thought they would, but for us this was no issue.

Perfect location, the Bus stop is right next to the hotel. There are also very nice restaurants and supermarkets in the neighborhood. It is quite close to the city center. The staff treatment was impeccable, very polite, very helpful and attentive. My room was cosy, the bed very comfortable.

Breakfast is delicious but it could use more variety.

We loved Hotel Nymphenburg. The staff were excellent, welcoming and very nice. The location was an easy 2 stops from central station. The room was large and clean, serviced daily. The included breakfast was delicious. Happy to hold our luggage for the day. The Italian restaurant across the road was delicious for dinner.
