The staff were lovely (spoke enough English to communicate effectively) and I liked the food at the restaurant. The bathroom was fairly spacious for Japanese standards and the room was clean. The view and access to the beach was amazing!

The bedroom is very small, but luckily there is a hallway space leading to the bathroom where you can open/store your luggage in your room. Be mindful that the door to get is glass and you pull the curtain for privacy.

The hotel has a modern beach vibe. The staff were very friendly & helpful. They also spoke English, so check-in & check-out were smooth. The view from the room was great as the hotel is across the street from the beach. We could use the patio in front of the room to have a drink in the evening and coffee in the morning which was really nice and made the room feel a little bigger. The air conditioning worked very well and the room had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable overnight stay: toiletries, kettle, hairdryer, mugs, etc. The bathroom was quite spacious (by Japanese standards) and well-designed. There is no smoking allowed at the property which was great!!!!

The mattresses and pillows were not very comfortable and the space around the beds is a little tight, but the room size is included in the description, so this was not really surprising.

It had everything we needed!

The busy road in front of our sliding glass doors was super noisy, fast driving cars, lots of traffic. You can’t leave your slider door open at night for fresh air because there’s no safety guard to keep someone from opening the doors while you’re sleeping but also you need them closed to keep the noise pollution out.

Room looks just like the pictures minus some bath amenities plus they thoughtfully added hangers, a towel hanger, an electric fan and even a fold out bench for your luggage. Bit quirky in that you can use your screen door as your main door.. which is nice after visiting the beach (There's a hose to rinse with on the deck too). Gorgeous view highly recommend the end room with the hammock and outdoor seating. Staff very friendly and sweet. Wish they did a western breakfast in the a.m but the good morning restaurant in the complex does serve excellent coffee and if you are in the mood a nice looking Japanese style meal. I had dinner at the hotel and ate on my lovely deck lots of standards to choose from. Since there is a mini fridge I recommend you drop into The Chocolate Bank (I found this cafe the next day - located approx a minute outside of Kamakura station) and pick up some croissants for your breakfast to enjoy with the coffee they provide you with in your room if you're a continental type breakie kind of person.

Though the bathroom is spacious for Japan the shower room isn't. I am rather petite and had trouble maneuvering in it so I can imagine it would be a hassle for a taller person. The room itself is clean and bed, thoughtfully covered remotes for guests (changed upon each stay) but some dust here and there. One light bulb near a bed also flickering and needed replacing. It states no smoking anywhere but I could smell people smoking on more than one occasion and I only stayed a night.

The location is very good - right across from the beautiful beach. Keep in mind thorugh that this is not really beach front, there is a very busy and sometimes noisy road in front and you have to cross tot he beach using tunnels under the road. It had a great patio with chairs a table and a hammock and great views, especially at sunset. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful.

The rooms are small and dated. Also, there are very few restaurants or grocery stores nearby. Eat in the town centre area if you can, though we did find a very good sushi restaurant a 10 minute walk away. Also, it is not really a hotel in the usual sense - it is three or four rooms and a small restaurant with a patio in a commercial building - our room was at the end, right next to a dog salon. No lobby, could be an issue checking in if you are late and the restaurant is closed. The door was a sliding glass patio door with the lock at the ground.

Great location right across from the beach. Great view.

A ridiculously large post in the room, blocked access to half the room and the beautiful view out the front full wall window. A door in back or room accessed directly into the restaurant/bar kitchen. Very thin walls and noisy neighbors made for a long aggravating night.

Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and lovely extras in the bathroom like skincare and complimentary toothbrushes and other toiletries.

Not great soundproofing as I could hear traffic outside in the night and guests next door, but I brought ear plugs so it was okay :)

Food from the cafe is nice Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is nice too, facing the beach and has very picturesque views. The rooms are clean and well equipped as well, the bathroom especially is very clean and came with a lot of complimentary toiletries.

Very helpful and friendly, pretty room, beach right across the street, very good amenities. The food at the adjoining Café is delicious

Squaky bed and old matress and it is quite loud. They tell you that before but it really, really is (big street and terasse in front of the window), nothing for light or longsleepers :-)

The location is perfect overlooking the beach, a great vibe.

We tried to get help to order a taxi as uber doesn’t work in this area but without success, what happened to old school of being able to ring a local taxi ?
