I loved the fact that each room had a brand new washing machine and dryer. As well kitchen, crockery and utensils. Everything you need in a kitchen plus a bench top with stools. And it had an iron for ironing my clothes. They have a lounge area with a massive tv, couch, and sitting room table. They really thought well of the needs of tourists while on holiday. The best accomodation so far that I’ve stayed at in Bali vs many others that I’ve experienced. And to top it off it had the best gym in an accomodation that I’ve ever seen vs other accomodations in Bali. So they really did their research. Reception staff are very helpful. I had Ari who assisted me and who made my stay very enjoyable. She had great customer service. Aster also can arrange a scooter for you if you’d like. Location for Aster is great too. It is not far from Mexicola, Old man’s and Sand Bar. As well as the popular restaurants and beach clubs like Penny Lane and La Brisa.

Apart from all the amazing things they have to offer the one thing that they lacked vs other accomodations that I’ve been to is their breakfast. The temperature/quality control of their food is very poor. As well as the options they have. You are basically choosing from 4 or 5 things other than bread. And you can only have no more than 2 eggs in the all you can eat breakfast. Other accommodations that I’ve experienced for an all you can eat breakfast have 10-40 options of food and the temperature/quality control is excellent. Plus you can eat all the eggs/food you want with no limit.

Lovely apartment, spacious, staff were helpful with whatever I needed help with and always happy to help. It was very luxurious. Great value for money

There was construction outside which was annoying because I booked this at the end of my trip to relax and sleep lots as I was very ill, so the construction kept me up. If I’d have been warned I maybe would’ve booked somewhere else. The only thing about the property itself I didn’t like was I could hear the water flowing through pipes a lot which would startle me a bit when it would first happen lol

We loved Aster, the rooms were lovely and modern, very affordable, location was excellent with many restaurants nearby and the beach around a 10 min walk away. There was also a washing machine and dryer in our room and free water which we used a lot. Also there is a small gym on the top floor which we could use for free which was a bonus.

The only negative we can think of is that it can be a little noisy in the day with the construction site next to it

The loft apartments are a great concept for the area. I loved the individual laundry (detergent was provided at reception). The kitchen area was also great for takeout deliveries from Grab/Gojek. In addition there’s a hot/cold filtered water dispenser. Upstairs the Gym was to a good standard with excellent equipment. The roof terrace was also a fantastic place to relax (note: no swimming pool available).

The breakfast was not that appealing even though it was included. I’m always reluctant to eat from buffet breakfasts, unless they have high turnover, and this one did not seem to have many guests eating from it.

Nice sized apartment. Downstairs had a bathroom, living area and small kitchenette. Plenty of storage space and water dispenser. Upstairs loft bedroom. Staff were excellent.

Gym is just a little small but to be expected in hotel-esqud

When the place is up and running and everything is done (swim up bar etc) this place will be even better than what it already is!! Nice comfortable rooms with a sofa bed in the living area nd the comfy bed upstairs in the loft. Restaurant on the roof and on the other side the pool. Such lovely and friendly hospitable staff! Washing machine and dryer in the room too which was an absolute bonus! A walk away from anything u could need too, salons, markets, restaurants, you name it! We absolutely loved our stay here and will return again! We also got half board so our breakfast and dinners were always catered too and absolutely delicious! We cant thank the staff enough.

The internet connection in our room to our TV kept disconnecting and wouldn't stream anything. Our other two rooms the internet was fine.

Rooms are large, spacious and clean. There was an odd smell in the room when we arrived so asked to change rooms and there was no further issue. The apartments are great value for money especially if travelling as a family as the double rooms were large and there is a small kitchen. The breakfast and dinners were also good (we had full board and it was definitely worth it). It is down a side street but this is benefit as it means its not on the noisy main strip.

The building is still underground some construction. Not major works like new walls or levels, but when we stayed there was tiling work being done near the pool and it was a little noisy while they were hammering at tiles etc, using powertools but not enough to disturb sleep.

Here is my review I’m giving this place a 4 star The price and location and staff are great However the place isn’t fully built yet -the lights switch was faulty it kept sparking -it’s says view (but my balcony goes out onto a work site -and gym isn’t built yet it’s a room with a Pilates bed in it that still needs work The website glamourises it -funky sewage smell everywhere especially the rooms -just some dirtyness from when it was built I assume But it wasn’t a bad hotel atall and once fully built will be a really good spot How lovely the staff are made it 4 star

Very clean and spacious rooms. Water machine in the room is great and loved the washer dryer to do laundry when we wanted.
