Cozy hotel with excellent location! It is near to a cathedral, cross across the street, there are whole stretch of shops & a 7eleven at the end. Stroll to many souvenirs shopping street, McDonald, Burger King & restaurants. The best thing my family like the best is the good quality breakfast spread, eg raspberry croissants, beetroot, carrot juices, gluten free corner, self make pancakes.. etc Last but not least, hotel also provides hot coffee & hot water machine, also many Twinnings flavours tea bags, anytime 24/7!

Parking in the hotel is a bit inconvenient as you’ll need to get down to tell reception to open the garage gate before u can enter to park, each time.

- The location couldn’t be more central. Right next to multiple bus stops and pick up locations for excursions/tours. - The breakfast was tasty and had a wide variety of items. - Helpful reception staff. - Taxi ordering tablet in reception, so you don’t need to worry about telephone anxiety or lacklustre Norwegian language skills.

- The room was large but had a very awkward layout; the furniture placement made no sense. A TV under which there was a desk that was taken up by the kettle and coffee maker rendering it useless as a desk. There was a mirror in the corridor with no shelf or electric socket nearby so you couldn’t use it for make up or hairstyling. The sofa faced a blank wall (TV was far to the right so you could see it from the bed). - There was a layer of dust under the sink and behind the radiator, granted these are not places many people look but should be clean regardless. - At the time of my stay WiFi only worked in the breakfast and reception area.

The hotel is in a very good location, in the center, very close to everything. Our room was small, but comfortable, it had everything you might need for a few days stay. The underfloor heating in the bathroom and shower was a special pleasure! :) The breakfast buffet was of good quality, varied, everything was very delicious, such a good breakfast service is really rare! Free wi-fi.

The bed was too soft for our taste, and the mattress topper was not fixed well, so it always wanted to slide off the bed. But with all the good things, this is a negligible minor negative experience.

Hotel is very well located in the centre of Tromso and a short walk from the harbour, Airport express bus stop and the bars and restaurants. The breakfast offering was extremely comprehensive and of very good quality - very impressive! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel has an excellent taxi booking system at reception.

Whilst there was nothing that I didn't really like about the hotel I did find the cost of the rooms very, very expensive, (over £200 per night) especially in comparison to Svalbard and Oslo.

Room 220 is an odd L and felt very small. The bed is pushed against the wall on 1 side and the other side almost touching the window with only a very narrow passage. Check in experience was bad solely because of one staff named Roger. He was cold and totally unhelpful & answered every question we had with an ice cold stony ‘No’. Thankfully the other front desk staff were much more polite & helpful

Perfect location to walk to anything you need in Tromsø. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Excellent, clean and diverse breakfast buffet with stunning Mountain View from the huge windows. Friendly, helpful staff.

Their policy of having guests ask for room cleaning didn’t work for us, as both times the staff didn’t come on the right day and our bed wasn’t made the second time. Our fridge wasn’t working on arrival and the promised replacement never happened.

Very spacious suite, huge bed with a very soft mattress, the sauna next to the bathroom was very good after long walks in the cold. The breakfast buffet offered many choices, also for me as a vegetarian. Location of the hotel is perfect, late checkout was possible without additional costs. All in all a very comfortable stay, we´ll definitely come back.

The staff was always very helpful and kind at breakfast. As new guests are constantly coming for breakfast, it would be great if the cutlery and serviettes were restocked more often. Although we had a big suite there was not enough space to put your clothes. There was a small dressing room with a long clothes rail, but only 6 hangers. We more or less lived out of a suitcase. A small wardrobe would be desirable.

The location is perfect for city center! Right by the Central bus stop. However, most things are walking distance! Breakfast was really nice, however they put more out until everything has gone so sometimes breakfast is luke warm. Room was comfortable.

Room could have done with draws or something we had a family with bunk beds. No space to put clothes and cases also.are bins weren't emptied while we were there and ran out of toilet paper as we didn't get room cleaning the whole 5 days.
