Marites Blackstar STEPPED UP, ME AND MY WIFE MET PERSONALLY AND SHE ADDRESSED THE SITUATION AND MADE EVERYTHING RIGHT FOR US! Marites Blackstar AND HER ENTIRE STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL AND OUR STAY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER WITH YOUR FRIENDLY STAFF! ONE OF THE BEST STAYS I'VE HAD IN ALL OF MY 70 YEARS!

AS FAR AS THE HOTEL GOES NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. WE ARRIVED AT THE START OF A TYPHOON AND THE WEATHER WAS CHALLENGING. BUT EVERYONE IN Marites Blackstar'S STAFF MADE OUR STAY INSIDE A PLEASURE.

Guam reef was an awesome stay for a week long visit home to see family and friends. Infinity pool was awesome. Amazing friendly staff at the poolside bar/restaurant, James and Clyde are top notch and always went the extra mile during our poolside dining. : ) 100% recommend.

Had a corner room with an excellent view in the middle of town. Perfect location. The hotel had a pool, easy access to the beach, and laundry facilities.

Cleaning staff did not sweep room daily. Also, Guam is very humid and the room dryer was not working.

The view was outstanding. Staff were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

One of the sliding glass doors was off it's track and difficult to open. Staff did not take any responsibility to fix it. I finally got it back on track myself. It was not clear to us that the rooftop restaurant was closed and had been, probably due to covid, for a while. We walked up to it before sign posted on door proclaimed it closed. On last day we had arranged for cab to airport but it was 15-20 minutes late. Clerk was very active trying to get alternative cab to help us. We were not late for flight.

Great location, next to the beach and near various restaurants and other stores as well as the Aquarium.

The breakfast had been closed down, which was fine for me since I hadn't purchased it beforehand. However, there is a very good restaurant (Eggs 'n Things) very close to the hotel.

Guam Reef has been my staycation hotel since I came to Guam due to its infinity pool, near Tumon beach and good price. Our last stay, the staff esp Mike addressed our concern that air con was not working that he gave us another room.

It’s old and most aircon are not working good.

None of the restaurants or bars in the hotel were open. Told they were being “remodeled” but highly doubt that. Sign stated “closed until further notice.”

The hotel location is good in the heart of Tumon, it feels a bit dated and in need of a paint job or renovation but comfortable large rooms and a nice stay

It’s a bit old and outdated, needs a modern refresh, feels like the 1980’s in the hotel

the pool was beautiful, it lined up almost perfectly with the sunset and was just gorgeous. It was a little rowdy on Saturday but much calmer on Sunday and Monday.

the outside could use a fresh paint job but inside was very nice. the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was nice everywhere you went.

It was centrally located and the staff were very helpful. We had a nice view of the ocean for some sunset viewing. It was near malls, shops, and restaurants so we didn't have any problem with food. There was only one open cafe at the lobby for some quick snacks, coffee, and breakfast. We checked in at around 5 AM because of our flight, and had no trouble whatsoever with the process. But if your flight comes in around 4 or 5 in the morning, better book the night before and inform them of your expected arrival. Regular check in is at 3PM and it's a long wait, so better be prepared.

No private beach front. Access to the beach is easy enough, but it's a "public" section of the bay. You can still walk around of course, but can't use the lounge chairs and cabanas of other hotels. Only one hotel cafe was open at the time of our stay.
