Ok. Well, it’s a little complicated Nice quiet location and, in the summer it would have been great to use the garden and make more of the place. I originally booked the room thinking the facilities were all individual’ for use. That’s not the case. Each room is separate. Then there are the communal areas … this doesn’t include the washer / dryer. This is normally a service that is charged. Heating didn’t work and it was clear, we didn’t have access to what we needed for washing etc. Rene, however was fantastic. He sorted out access to the washer and dryer. And fixed the heating. We had the whole place to ourselves so, the score is a little skewed. If we had just been in the room, not sure it would have been as good an experience.

I didn't like that there isn't a blow up spa ... to the owner if this was my house the only thing your missing is a spa if you don't want a huge one get one of those blow up ones lol the right side where the grassy area is so in the winter months you can have people enjoy one more amenities... just a suggestion

In the backyard lots of seating. Lots of different spaces to gather inside. Would be perfect for a family or a group of friends. Really nice closet space in the private bath bedroom.

Not used to planes. Definitely in a flight path. Sharing the kitchen with strangers a different experience. Other guests pretty much took over the refrigerator and left dishes around. They weren't messy just not something I'm used to. Private bath very tiny. Would be tight for a big person. I always use washcloths. There weren't any washcloths provided.

We were hesitant at first, because we couldn’t find much information about the Tropical paradise online, but we did not regret booking it. Our room (with the private bathroom), as well as the shared rooms were clean, comfy and cosy! The backyard was just wonderful. There’s a large and clean pool and it gives a great atmosphere, especially at night with lots of lights! The owner even called us in the evening to ask if there’s anything we need and if the room matches our expectations. I have nothing bad to say about this accommodation. The only thing I regret is that I booked it for just one night.

Great Communication. Straightforward directions. Friendly host Rene Carrasco - made sure we felt that we can always call on him to help us with anything. He even left us ice cold beer in the ice chest by the pool. So generous! The kitchen appliances worked well. The location of the property was great for what we needed it for. The pool was a good size and was clean. Pool toys available. The neighborhood is quiet, which meant we all had a relaxed stay.

The grill only uses charcoal which is a pain to clean so we didn't use it. Electric grill would have been more useful, less mess, less smoke too. The sliding screen door to the backyard needs replacing. Could have used few more pans, a kettle for heating water for tea (but there's a microwave too). We wanted to swim at night but the pool isn't heated. That could be an improvement that would be appreciated!

The place is a house in a residential area with a number of bedrooms (3 I think) which are accessed by coded lock. The rest of the house is open to use and there is an outside area with a small pool and a barbecue grill. Kitchen was well equipped and space in fridge and freezer as required. It was not what I was expecting when I booked but I was very pleasantly surprised. No problem to park.

I would not fault the property other than to say I do not think there was a convenience store close by but I think it was only a short drive to find something.

This is a very nice place to stay. As of 2023 everything is very new and top notch. Very well equipped with kitchen, nice pool in the back with everything you need for a nice time (bbq, bar, hanging bed, etc,). Wi-Fi, flat screen TV in every room, and specious comfortable living places, plenty of place to hang out. Close to the airport and the free way. I definitely recommend this place.

This is NOT a HOTEL. It's a stand alone family home. It might be surprising first BUT it's actually better than a hotel.

The accommodations were exactly as listed and very comfortable. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Right near the university and great for the price.

The only problem I had was finding restaurants that were close, although I'm not familiar with the area and that could have been the case.

This place is gorgeous and has my best recommendations! 🩷 The Manager was so friendly, generous and kind. The area is very quiet and the patio with the pool is amazing. The rooms had a nice decor and the beds and bedding is so comfortable. I would definitely stay here another time.

Converted home into guest house so very casual and intimate space. Comfy bed, clean environment, quiet location, good stop off point between sequoia and Yosemite. Host was lovely and accommodating.

Nothing fancy - but It does what it says on the packet so exactly as expected.
