Perfect location. Ensure that your driver drops you at the Pile Gate. Only a 200 m walk to the apartment (which is great as no vehicles are allowed in the Old Town). Beautifully furnished. Wonderful old building Excellent air con. Common area adds to feel of a larger place, with extra towels/iron etc on hand. We did not get to meet host but had excellent and responsive communication. The apartment is as advertised and in the heart of the old town - fortress. A walk of the fortress walls is a must. So close to everything in the old town - which was precisely the experience we wanted. Excellent instructions from host.

Nothing - perfect stay and host.

The apartment was perfect. You could not have asked for a better location and it was easy getting our luggage there. It was a pleasant surprise exactly like the photos, meticulously clean, comfortable and very roomy for its size. Especially loved the spacious bathroom. The sofa bed was very comfortable too and allowed us each to have our own bed. We were very pleased that it was so nice. Vicko provided very good instructions and answered all our questions immediately. We were able to store our luggage earlier and he even arranged for us to check in slightly earlier. We will certainly recommend to all our friends.

Excellent location in the Old Town (& close enough to Pile Gate so not far to carry luggage) Clean comfortable room with a decent sized bathroom and lovely strong shower. A little noisy when windows were open but once closed all street noise was blocked out. Great communication from owner (all through WhatsApp) - code & information were provided the day before our stay along with some tips & recommendations. All queries were responded to promptly.

There are a few flights of stairs which is to be expected in accommodations in the Old Town, not an issue for us but just something to be aware of.

Location great in the Old Town, just inside the Pile Gate. Room clean. Small-ish size but plenty of room for two people nonetheless. Bathroom was a very good size however. Although there is no reception as such the proprietor (Vicko) was always available via phone/whatsapp/etc.

The steps up to the room were a challenge with the suitcases (but ok without). Everything else was fine. One thing to note (and this is no reflection on the Palacio Celeste) Dubrovnik is very busy in early September. I have never seen so many tourists in one place. I can't complain though as we are tourists ourselves of course.

Great location in the centre of the old city. Our room was small but nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Ensuite was clean with large shower cubicle. The windows opened into a lightwell so no view of the streets, although I'm sure that is common within the old city.

There is no staff on site. All communication was done via Whatapp or email. We didn't get entry instructions until the day of our flight which was a bit worrying. We struggled with luggage up the 3 flights of stairs on arrival and departure.

The property is in the heart of Dubrovnik ‘old town’, situated (on the 2nd floor) in a quiet side road off Placa - Stradun. It’s a clean property with housekeeping services available upon request. The majority of tourist sites are within walking distance. Public transport is accessible (outside the City walls) to enable other towns/places to be visited. Note: The apartment is within the pedestrianised City. If coming from the airport, the drop-off zone is outside the City walls (Pile Gate) and it’s a 5-10 mins walk to the apartment thereafter.

Apartment: Nothing of issue. As an observation larger tea/coffee cups would be useful, together with a simple map (showing the apartment location) from outside the drop off zone (Pile Gate). Dubrovnik: A lovely city. However it becomes very crowded/busy during the day with cruise ship passengers. Best time to explore is either early morning (ahead of the cruise ships) or late afternoon once they have departed.

Couldn’t have asked for a more clean, comfortable apartment & central location within the beautiful oldtown walls. The apartment was perfect as it offers separate rooms within the same building. This was perfect as there were two couples within our group. Our host Vicko, messaged us great tips to help make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable.

Location was great. Right in the centre of old town. Easy access to everything and able to enjoy the old town. We could also leave our luggage in the apartment on our departure day which was great. Saved us worrying about what to do with our luggage for the day. Room was clean and bathroom was huge.

The stairs. Although there were no stairs to the apartment entrance as it was on street level there were many stairs to climb to reach the apartment. Once in the apartment we had another level of stairs to climb to access our room. This was OK as I believe stairs are hard to avoid in the old town.

The location is perfect for soaking up the old town. The accommodation is modern, secure and clean. Well maintained and furnished to a good standard, including a fridge. Excellent hosts with extremely responsive communication through WhatsApp. The shower head needed attention, which had clearly not been reported to the host before. I have no doubt that they will have fixed this, after our report.

Access is through a communal doorway, with a dark functional lobby and stairway - there are quite a lot of stairs to negotiate, but the host does offer to help with loading baggage. The windows didn't offer a view of any kind and I don't think any properties inside the old town have a balcony. The buildings are very uniform to preserve the overall style (so this is an observation rather than a criticism).

Its location was fantastic. Vicko the owner provided great assistance and responded immediately to any of our queries. The modern apartment was immaculate. Despite being only2 doors off Stadun, the apartment was very quiet. The amenities were brilliant. Beds were comfortable. Great for a couple. In fact it easily accommodates 3 adults.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn’t like about the apartment!
