Excellent place to stay. Quiet and pleasant, secluded from the hustle and bustle of the Nairobi streets but in a good location. The staff is friendly and helpful and after a day or two you get the feeling that this is a community place and not just a random hostel. On my first stay I left a review about the poor pressure in the shower, 3 weeks later when I returned the shower heads were changed and the pressure was addressed. I tip my hat to the manager for listening to the feedback offered. Thank you!

Let me tell you why this hostel makes you feel so good that you feel like staying on & on : Double Bed sized bunk beds ( A rare find in hostels across the world) Very friendly, respectful and helpful staff ( especially Dan) Decent sized common area to socialize Huge front lawn Sufficient number of showers, toilets Hot water showers, good flow pressure & good wifi in common area Kitchen to cook with utensils, microwave, fridge etc. Budget restaurants nearby Not far or expensive from city center via uber bolt etc The hostel referred a company for a Safari to madai mara at a very competitive price and turned out a wonderful experience. They don't have lockers but Dan ( staff manager) offers to keep any valuables safely in his private room/locker throughout your stay. Laundry wash and drying machine available at a decent price. Really nothing to dislike, absolutely loved everything about this place!

Calm location with a small garden, plenty of shared seating area and some board games, all hidden away from the evening traffic in the street. Excellent and friendly staff making this a top starting/finishing location for a Kenya vacay

The bar (gastropub?) next door has some pretty loud blaring music that will continue past midnight. Not the hostel's fault but something to keep in mind. One of the showers seemed to also have some electrical current running through the knobs, though we notified staff so hopefully that has been fixed by now.

Chill place with nice feel. Location within 1km from crafy camelon or Geco Cafe bar/restaurants (some of the best pubs in Nairobi). close to supermarkets at jungle mall and livington mall. Jungle Mall has gym (smartgym) with very good machines (1200 ksh day visit). Tours eg (Mt Kenya) can be arranged. Drinking water refills free. Nice large double bedroom. Excellent value.

Next store to Bambo restaurant so the single outside double rooms get some background music but didn't bother me.

- welcoming staff and travellers - easy check-in - nice garden with volleyball net - beautiful washrooms - good wifi in the common area - comfy big beds in a quiet room , plugs next to the bed and big lockers - nice kitchen with a fridge and a ketler - nice common area ( books, games etc. ) - hostel activities possible - cute dog - nice peaceful area , a bit far from the train station but easy to reach with Uber , walkable distance from a mall with a supermarket, telecom companies etc., no board on the fence but neighbors are helping if needed

I had a little issue opening the gate myself but it was very early in the morning , so no big worry about it

Staying here felt like home in Nairobi. I met so many interesting travelers in such a peaceful and clean environment, located in a safe area. My heartfelt gratitude to Daniel, who is incredibly special—so gentle, genuine, helpful, caring, and welcoming. He made this place truly memorable. I initially booked for one night but ended up extending my stay, and it seems I wasn't the only one. I will surely return if I have the chance to visit Kenya again.

The gate when you arrive have no sign, check the picture and read well the info that they sent you.

The hostel is located in a safe neighbourhood close to a great supermarket. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly. Having a double bed with a bug net was amazing! Wifi overall worked well except sometimes in my room it could be spotty.

I wish there was more comfy seating around the property - a hammock or two would have made this place even better! There are quite a few mosquitoes that come into the hostel and I was constantly being bitten. It would be great if the living room door could be shut in the evening to help prevent this.

This place is a piece of heaven in Nairobi! Absolutely loved it! The big green area provides the best vibe to take things easy in Nairobi, make your plans, chill with the people around at the same time you get plenty of space to do your own stuff. During my stay i was working as well, so the wifi is pretty reliable and there are different sitting spots where you can sit and have some calls. Although the location is not in the center (which does not make it bad) it is super close to lovely spots like the Pallet Cafe and Geco Bar - where i spent many nights vibing with the live music. The hosts are suuuuper kind, friendly and helpful! This place does make a difference during your stay - would come back again!

Beautiful property situated behind a guarded gate and surrounded by a peaceful garden. Modern facilities, plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower, good Wi-Fi, and a lovely and well priced breakfast (which you must order the day/night before). Staff was attentive and helpful. You can walk from the house to nearby restaurants (we recommend Geco Cafe) and Junction Mall. The area felt safe. You can walk, jog etc during daytime. Ubers/Bolts and matatus are also easy to come by.

If you’re a light sleeper (i.e. sensitive to noise), I’d recommend bringing some earplugs or requesting a quiet room.
