Very nice location, everything you need is there. Restaurant was good and offered selection of local and also more common dishes so everyone (including kids) found something they liked. Several activities were available, you can go hiking, horseback riding or take a trip to viewpoint and after that mini-spa is available. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Everything was good, but just for info last small part of road is dirtroad, for us it was not a problem.

Beautiful guesthouse situated seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The drive to get there is not for the faint of heart, and we recommend driving during daylight, but it's all part of the adventure :-) The accommodations are peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views of hills and mountains. Some folks visit the area just to begin a hike, but we stayed overnight in the charming hotel—definitely worth it. The restaurant on the main floor is open to all and, given the remote setting, is the only nearby dining option. We will return to Hotel Mursal next time.

We were truly amazed by this place, nested within the beautiful Rhodope mountains. The room we got was much bigger than what we expected and had an amazing view from all three sides. The staff were very friendly and helpful. All the food we had was delicious and we found out they produce a lot of the ingredients locally. At the hotel you can purchase some homemade goods - we got some tea and jams. The sauna is tiny but really nice - you can also get some scented oils from the reception if you like. Overall highly recommend!

The hotel's location is absolutely stunning! It offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the nearby town. It's also a great starting point for hiking—especially to the Eagle’s Eye, which is a must-see. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the facilities are excellent. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it!

The location is perfect, at the end of the village Yagodina, in the heart of the mountain. It’s near to Eagle eye and also a lot of other beautiful places to visit. The staff and the owner of the hotel are the nicest people that we ever met. They were friendly and made everything to make our stay perfect. The most delicious local cuisine and wonderful views from restaurant. For sure we’ll visit them again. Recommend to everyone who enjoys gorgeous views, warm welcome, comfortable stay and unforgettable moments!

Everything was perfect

Perfect location for Eagle's Eye climb (as well as Devil's Path). There is a stable that offers horse riding next door, and the person in charge was super kind. Our room had an amazing view of the Rhodope mountain at sunset. The 'mekitsi' for breakfast are really good.

The shower was not enclosed.

Location! Being in the middle of the mountains was amazing.The views are just breath taking. The hotel was very clean and comfortable .The food in the restaurant is some of the best we have tasted in Bulgaria ( Local Bulgarian food) The owner of the hotel is very friendly and his wife is a amazing cook !! Staff are very friendly and work hard. The hotel is a great location for hiking/sight seeing.Rooms have everything you need.Hair dryers ,fresh towels,clean bedding and great mountain views from your windows. We will certainly return here again 😊

Beautiful location. Nice clean rooms. Mountain views. Jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast not a buffet, you choose a plate from a menu with pictures. No breads, fruits or salads for the taking. Machine made coffee, a tea and fruit drinks are provided.

Limited breakfast. A bit expensive.

It is the closest hotel to the starting point for the hike to the Eagle’s Nest, it literally starts from the parking lot! We left before sunrise to climb up, saw deer on the path and were up 1h later, and back down before breakfast. Food was more than decent, both dinner and breakfast were great. Staff was very kind.

Bathrooms were a bit dated, shower above the toilet and no blinds for the window facing the meadow.

The location is amazing, with the surrounding mountains. Close to variety of interesting spots to hike to. Road from the village to the hotel was okay, we did not have any issues with getting there.

The rooms were very cosy but at night it was too hot. However, popping a window open solved the “issue” :)
