We recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an excellent experience! The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the Black Sea, with the soothing sound of waves audible from the room. The room itself was a decent size with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was spacious with high water pressure. The housekeeping staff did a great job, cleaning the room and providing new towels and fresh water daily. The reception team was friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with a wide selection and delicious omelets made to order. We also enjoyed dining at the hotel's restaurant, where the food was tasty. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the Black Sea from the balcony. Overall, I'd highly recommend Mera Brise and give it a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Wish they had an electric kettle in the room.

Excellent location right next to the beach and promenade. Our suite was gigantic - two bathrooms!, with a huge balcony as well.

Breakfast could have offered some more options for vegetarians: The cheese selection is a bit sad and most of the salads on offer at the buffet had meat or fish in them. Not the hotel's fault, but be mindful that if booking for spring or summer, you are likely to not have a full view of the sea, as the trees in front of the balconies block most of it.

Perfect location for the seaside in Mangalia. Very nice staff and a very good restaurant with a varied menu (including the breakfast). There were live music events at the restaurant. The room was clean, larger than other rooms from the Mera Hotel in Venus. There were free parking spots next to the hotel.

In our bathroom there was a rusty radiator. It could use a refresh.

Very comfortable stay with pleasant and helpful staff, very warm room in the winter, nice breakfast choices. We got a room with a seaview and really enjoyed our time.

Nothing really, I would gladly stay again and recommend the hotel. But if I have to add something here, it would have been nice to have fresh juices instead of machine juices for breakfast.

The best possible location — quiet, with a view to the beautiful linden trees and the sea, yet a very steps away from the central area of Mangalia; the staff is polite and some are very friendly and nice; the room was clean, bright, spacious and nicely designed, with a very comfortable bed and an equally comfortable sofa, plenty of extra linen; complimentary water was replenished daily; the excellent breakfast buffet included many tasty options and the coffee was great

It tends to smell of food in the hallway and the smell also came into the room when I left the balcony door open; parking was not available throughout my stay due to construction work but that is not the hotel’s fault; the music in the restaurant could use an update to something more jazzy and modern and some variation, as it was the same every morning

Excellent position and view from terrace or room (if the room is with sea view). Very friendly staff, good breakfast and a la carte restaurant, nice and clean room.

Nothing to dislike (the food was very good, tasty, large portions, maybe to have more options in the menu, including vegetarian or lacto-vegetarian dishes).
