Actually the best part of staying here was the desk clerk, Elena! I arrived late at night, but she was attentive and helpful regardless. She even changed my room so I didn’t have to use the stairs. She was wonderful!! The location was also very convenient. Restaurants, shops, the Malecón and INM were all within short walking distance. And it’s only 2 blocks from the Autoprogreso station.

My room didn’t have a little refrigerator, microwave or hangers. It’s an older, no-frills hotel, though and extremely affordable, so not a deal breaker.

A classic old Mexican hotel, everything you need but basic and not quite perfect. AC worked fine. Beds were thick memory foam. Sheets were old but clean. Bathroom was old but clean. Lots of hot water. Staff did their jobs but certainly didn't go out of their way to be friendly. My room was in the back so quiet. I speak Spanish so I don't know if you do not Note: Be sure to eat at Sol y Mar restaurant on the same street heading towards the beach.

I discovered one of the BEST pizza I've had anywhere, only 1 block away, OSTERIA ITALIANA on Calle 29. And I've eaten pizza all over the world

Personally I prefer harder beds

To be honest I was impressed with this hotel we did not have any interaction with the staff cuz we just went inn and out came back about midnight and no problems whatsoever they have everything what we want and the price it was very affordable most like it we will comeback

The staff were super friendly and the receptionist went out of her way when I had a problem with wifi, making sure the problem was fixed.
