Great location, right on the malecón, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We got a room with a balcony and it was nice to sit out at night enjoying the breeze. The air conditioning and tv worked well. Toilet flushed and we had hot/warm water. Room had a working fridge, we did not try the microwave.

Hotel staff was cleaning near us at 4:30am and woke us up with the noise. By 6am there was a loud speaker playing while beach staff set up tables and chairs. In the shower they only give a small bottle of shampoo so be sure to take your conditioner and body wash. No elevator, quite a walk for us and my elderly mother to get to the third floor. Our room door lock didn’t work very well and made us feel a little uncomfortable-looked like the door had been broken into from the outside at some time.

We loved the front view of the Gulf from our balcony. The staff was excellent. The hotel was clean and well maintained. the location on the malycon is excellent. We have stayed at Playa Linda numerous times and never had a bad experience there. The water was hot in the shower which was appreciated.

We were on the third floor. We tried to minimize the number of times we went down to the street by grouping things we wanted to accomplish while there.

We have visited Progreso many times over the past 20 years. This was, however, the first time we stayed at Playa Linda. We were most impressed with the hotel. The location is excellent as it is on the malycon. The air conditioner worked well and the hot water in the shower was a real bonus. It was nice that our room had a small balcony facing the ocean. It was nice sitting out there for our morning coffee. The refrigerator and microwave both were good size and worked well. The room service personnel were all nice and accommodating. We will stay here again.

Location, location, location! This hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to be near the ocean and see the activity on the promenade right in front of the building! We had a balcony facing the ocean and it was lovely sitting outside! The staff was helpful and I always felt that I could leave my room and all was secure. Beds were comfortable.

There is no hotel parking. There is no elevator, however staff was willing to move our suitcases up and down the stairs.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Mexico. Location, location, location!!! Staff is friendly. Room exceeded what we expected. The view is great. The guys out on the street are helpful with everything. One thing that was so evident in Progreso, is the vendors and salespeople are not pushy. Have a look, no pressure, and have a nice day. Or will help you with anything and everything.

A good price and a convenient area. We all liked progreso as a city east to walk around and fun shopping. Good restaurants convenient to hotel Linda. Loved our balcony and watching all the people. Room was really cute and accommodated us well. We were on the 3rd floor and the hotel staff helped us carry our luggage up and down stairs so that was great. We might bring our family back here sometime but if not I think we will come back and this is where we will stay!

You simply can’t beat the location- right on the Malecon and with our room 13! A large balcony overlooking directly onto the Malecon Great value - we always stay there we we are in Progreso

The rooms are fairly basis , but have a fridge and a microwave - it’s really Hard to find a downside -the Malecon can be a little noisy at night , but that’s why you’re there !

Great location on the boardwalk; just a few steps from the beach; lots of restaurants nearby; walking distance from the bus station; rooms with a balcony are preferable. Building has four floors so expect to climb stairs. Wifi works well. Front desk staff were very helpful in upgrading room to balcony.

Lots of stairs to walk up; rooms are spartan with no glasses, plates or silverware even though they have microwave ovens. No tissue boxes. Stairs can be difficult to navigate with luggage.

Spectacular view of the gulf! The room was very comfortable and the staff were eager to please the guests!

It was noisy because of being on the Melecon, especially at night and during Carnaval. I guess that was to have been expected but it was overwhelming at times!

the location was perfect, the staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpful, very clean accommodation. we had a room with small kitchen, they only supplied small cheap plastic plates and drinking cups, and one small frying pan. I would recommend larger plates and cups not plastic, also supply coffee cups, dish towel and soap for clean up I would definitely stay here again.

the room with a kitchen supplied small cheap plastic plates and cups , we were there for 1 month so better kitchen ware, plus coffee cups , dish soap and dish towel would be helpful. these small improvements would get them a perfect rating.
