The hotel is not in the old city, but just an easy 10-minute walk to the edge of the old city and then 10 minutes more to the old city. Other hotels are in the old city but cost twice or three times as much. So, this is a great deal. The hotel is very quiet -- we had a room at the back. A special feature is that the space is divided into two rooms, one a bit larger and the other a bit smaller. So, you have a bit of privacy, which is nice in the evening if you want to watch a series on your laptop without disturbing your travel companion. Friendly staff. Would chose the same hotel for a second stay. Good parking place for cars behind the hotel.

No coffee machine, but this is just a minor thing.

This hotel was a surprisingly good choice. I only needed to spend one night somewhere in Rostock on my way pro Scandinavia and this hotel seemed to be a good value for your money, but it exceeded my expectations. It is situated within walking distance to the historical center, close to a tram station, it is clean and carefully renovated, the staff was incredibly nice and helpfull, the atmosphere was friendly. I bought the breakfast separately and it was also good. If you plan a few days in Rostock and don´t need a luxury hotel, but a calm, safe and clean place for good money, this is a good choice.

I had a problem finding a parking place, in the end I parked my car on a place belonging to a neibouring car repair shop, but the owner was tolerant and didn´t make any problems.

The reception staff in the morning were very kind and helpful. They assisted me in getting a coffee and allowed me to park my car while I went to shop at Lidl. I really appreciated their friendliness and support.

When I arrived at the hotel, it took me some time to check in by myself. I don’t speak German and was using English, but the website kept switching back to German, which made the process difficult. I also arrived late at night and was disappointed to find no kettle in the room. It would be helpful to have one available for guests arriving late.

Private safe parking included. Ten minutes walk to old town and tram station just outside. We had a quiet room facing the inner yard. Clean and nice room. The breakfast buffet,14 €, was ok. In Rostock you pay a mandatory kurort charge that gives you free access to all public transport in Rostock as well as in neighbouring Warnemünde. Friendly and helpful staff. Two supermarkets and one good Italian restaurant nearby.

There was a vague smell of cigarett smoke all over the building. In spite of the fact that it is a non smoking hotel!?

The hotel is not far from the city center, although on the map, it looks a bit far. The center is walkable, and there is also a big Lidl nearby. The check-in process was fast and smooth. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are warm. The internet was fast, and there is a WiFi router in each room. The rooms are quiet; I didn't hear any other guests. Additionally, there is a desk available if you need to work on your laptop.

The lady on reception was extremely polite, professional and friendly making the check in process a pleasure. Everything was fully explained and upon asking about tea and coffee making facilities we were provided with a kettle and cups she delivered to our room. The room and our bed linen were exceptionally clean and well presented. On site secure parking was a great addition and no charge was made.

Excellent location, with tram stop just outside, for easy access to city centre and ferry terminal. Excellent reception on arrival and we were able to check-in early, which we much appreciated. We had to leave early in the morning and instructions for the checkout were very clear. Room had everything we needed for a one night stay

The room felt very warm at night, despite having both windows open It would have been nice to have had coffee and tea making facilities.

It was good enough and just what we (2 persons) needed for one night stop during long car journey. Safe and guaranteed parking place included in price. Close to city center by tram.

We were there only one night (checked out next day 7:15AM) but we had to pay around 3,5€ local fee for both days (arrival and departure days) for both persons, in total around 14€-Strange since this local/tourist fee/tax is usualy paid just per night (in this case one night) for each person?!

Very nice budget hotel, centrally located in Rostock just outside the city center. The Tram with a stop right outside the door will take you to the city center in 5 minutes. Good rooms, very comfortable beds, adequate bathrooms, very good breakfast, friendly staff and a bar at the reception. Private parking behind the hotel and all at a reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more 😃

Basic business hotel. Good value for money. Located in walking distance to the center and waterfront, or take the tram stopping right in front of the hotel. Edeka (grocery shop) nearby. Clean, functional, modern, small but comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Right on a road with cars and tram. Not too much traffic there but if you have a room to the side of the road you can't keep the window open at night. If you book this hotel you already know that you won't get much character, just a simple place to stay over night at reasonable cost. And this is precisely what you get, no more, no less.
