So this place is "dated" with a capital "D"...but we still give it the highest marks because you're skiing, with your family, not hanging out in the room. Plus, the amenities in the room that mattered weren't dated: Bosch dishwasher, subzero fridge, new microwave (I forget what brand), gas stove, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tubs in both bathrooms. The views were incredible, probably the best we've ever had skiing--and we ski multiple times a year (last year we stayed in 8 different condos in various CO towns). You can't beat the location for getting to the main lift to get up with mountain and on with your day. They valet your skis right by the Village Lift/main gondola and it's only steps from your condo. Plus you're so close to great pubs/wine bars in the village and it's easy to take the free gondola in to town for more varied dinner options. There's a spa located in the condo building and we both had massages, which were great. There are out door hot tubs with magnificent views. Kids love the indoor/outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The shuttle service to/from Montrose airport was a bit disorganized...but it's free, so we can't really complain. Otherwise it's about $500 for a car service.

I had to call to have owners items removed and several other items that were not provided in the room when it was made ready. They forgot to get my CC info on check in so I had to go back to provide that . For almost $1000/night I expected a bit more professionalism.

Location, room.

We requested an early check in time of 2:00 and at 4:30 they said the room was almost ready and then at 5:20 they said it would be 20 minutes. For that kind of money we shouldn’t experience that. I went to the owners office and she realized that was not a good situation for us and she upgraded us to a 3 bedroom. Other than that it was perfect.

The kitchen was great. The stove was amazing and the pots and pans were really high quality. They even filled up a low tire for us. We also loved the new ping pong table and pool table. The outdoor pool temperature was also very nice.

Main TV didn't work well and it was quite warm at night.

Everything was beautiful and comfortable! Loved using the gondola ☺️🚠 Thank you!! We hope to return someday!

Mountain Village is wonderful

The site was not clean and is not a hotel - very confusing timeshare / condo complex. *No air-conditioning*. Garbage (beer cans, etc) from another room were left in hallway for 30 hours. This is nothing like a Fairmont hotel. Very little staff - management seemed to be a (timeshare?) sales office.
